Can I give a ZERO star review !?! The photos 100% speak for their self, but I'll still explain the many problems here as well. I'd be so beyond embarrassed to be the owner of this florist with the sort of work she's sending out! The price is $105- for this pathetic excuse of an arrangement! Plus delivery and tax! My husband ordered the medium sized arrangement which is shown in the side by side photos of what he ordered and what she sent to us, ugghhh!! Delivery did not show up till the evening, while delivery driver just dropped them on the front porch then he walked away which can be clearly seen on our ring camera. She used/gave half the flowers we paid for. Vase looks identical to the dollar tree vases that cost $1.50 instead of the upgraded clear vase that is shown to come with this arrangement. I understand sometimes they have to make alterations based on what is available, but it's supposed to be of equivalent value, not something far cheaper!! She went skimpy and far cheaper on nearly everything with this arrangement. She gave half the roses we paid for, 1/3 of the Lillie's it was supposed to come with, no greenery filler as shown in photo which he ordered from. Then a few tiny pieces of leather leaf at the bottom which is the absolute cheapest filler green you can use. She used this instead of what is shown in the photo which he ordered from. Then in place of the mums she filled it in with a few flimsy/skimpy daisies (again cheaper substitute), with a handful of them being broken. Like they were broken in half and just hanging in the arrangement, broken carns, daisies and one rose. As if all this was not bad enough and the fact she only used half as many flowers as what he purchased, then to fill it with broken flowers as well. That's just BAD!! This is not floral design work. This is someone plopping a handful of flowers into a vase and calling it a day !! Not ok!! Even more so when someone spends so much $$$ on them !!! Also flowers are NOT that fresh. Half the roses are already going limp and they were only delivered a few hours ago!! No they did not sit outside, we saw they were delivered on the ring camera, then my son walked right out to bring them into the house. We arrived home a few hours later and were beyond blown away by how horrendous they looked. I'm embarrassed for this florist !!! Definitely don't waste your time or money at this business. She does not do floral design. She is a popper! She plops flowers into a vase and calls it floral design. Grocery store flowers look sooooooo much better and professional than hers do! I only use Katherine's Florist. They take such care and custom make it if I request. The quality of the arrangements are first class and never disappoint. John was the most recent helper and he was excellent. He understood exactly what I wanted and made it happen. All the staff there is very meticulous. I received 11 long stem roses and one cut off stem; not broken off; cut. The bulk of them had burnt outer petals and they weren't so much arranged as shoved into a vase. The roses I received were expensive. Something the twit who answered my call, reminded me of. She offered to bring me out the rose I was shorted but not until Monday because "we've had 5 dozen go out all ready today." What that has to do with my missing bloom I can't say. What I will say is the customer service is horrible. I gave her a chance to make things right before posting this review. UPDATE: Katherine's just called to replace my flowers. My sister sent me these flowers for my birthday. Despite many bad reviews I thought it would be nice to share how beautiful the arrangement was. When my sister saw my picture that I sent her of my flowers, she said it was even better than the website. So thank you Katherine's Florist for making my birthday bright. You did a great job! Our son and daughter-in-law in Ohio ordered flowers and candy to be delivered to our house for a birthday yesterday. The floral arrangement was delivered about 3 PM and was very nice but no candy. About 5 hours later someone came to the door and placed the candy on the doorstep. No note, and the delivery person did not ring the doorbell to provide an explanation. The candy was just put down and he left. So how many people would open and eat candy that was placed on your doorstep with no explanation as to why from from who. Going over the camera video we saw the candy was delivered by the same person that hours earlier delivered the flowers. So today my wife called the florist and spoke with the owner just to let them know what had happened. However, Ms. Katherine was quite defensive and absolutely would not stop talking long enough for my wife to clearly explain our concern. So with this being a first experience with this florist it was utterly unacceptable from the way the gift was delivered to the absolutely unacceptable response from the store and owner. We are all entitled to make our own decisions where to conduct our business, and we fully support small businesses, but I would recommend that you continue looking elsewhere to take your money. Someplace that provides a quality product and respects the customers. In this situation, Katherine's Florist fell well short of meeting minimal expectations. read more

I would call and the phone line was busy and when I would get through and spoke to Katherine she didn't apologize but told me she would have to verify with her driver and get back to me . She never did, and so i called again - same thing - busy line for hours, finally got through only to be told the driver hadn't come In 3 days later so she couldn't verify the chocolates weren't delivered and would get back to me once she spoke to him . I own a flower shop, I used Katherine's for a personal delivery for the death of my daughter in law's grandfather. Requested the day before the early service. The day of the service (today) my son called to say the flowers were not there. I called only to be told they never received the order, yet someone sent me a delivery confirmation yesterday. The owner told me she would call me back to let me know what happened...glad I didn't hold my breath. I had to call her at 4:30 pm. She was not even remorseful about the mistake. the arrangement was so so most of the flowers already bloomed to the fullest but pretty. the fruit basket is great the delivery horrible. 8:30pm-9pm the she couldn't find how to get into the building which is clearly numbere, then I had to direct her to the elevator 3 phone calls later she asked me to come down to the lobby to accept the delivery because it was heavy! mind you, there is an elevator. when i questioned that, she actually I was rude, and she was doing me a favor WHAT!! it's my birthday and I have to carry my own birthday gift. Extremely disappointed with the quality of this shops arrangements. Ordered a $93 ($113 after tax/delivery!) thanksgiving table arrangement for my mom and the anniversary of my grandmas passing. The arrangement looked nothing like the photo, the colors didn't match, and the vase looked dirty/old. They were to send me a new one I liked with more fall colors that was worth about $22 less on their site but I was assured it would be "upgraded". The new one was prettier (the colors I wanted) but not worth $90 at all. Not to mention they took the other arrangement back! Ive ordered a lot of flowers from bigger companies but wanted to go local this time to support. I DO NOT recommend Katherine's florist. You don't have to do 1-800 Flowers etc but try a DIFFERENT local shop if you're debating which to try. Or make your own arrangement for far less money and stress. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! My husband ordered flowers 3 days ago thinking that they were the shop in winter garden. They called him the day of delivery (today at 2:00) to tell him they couldn't make the arrangement he ordered. At that point he was desperate and just had them make something purple. 45 minutes before the flowers arrived, I got a email receipt saying that flowers were ordered so I thought he bought them for someone else. The surprise was ruined. When the flowers got here I met the driver in the driveway and said that I'd just like a refund. She told me that was fine and she was sorry. The first thing we noticed was the wilted and dripping arrangement. It was dripping down the casket and had to be wiped repeatedly. We called the florist to talk to her about the situation and she was rude, unapologetic, combative and down right nasty! She asked if we wanted her to come right now and pick them up? Well at this point we were an hour from the service start and would be left with nothing... After no resolution I just hung up. Please be aware of this place! I ordered a sympathy arrangement online on Tuesday, May 23 to be delivered that day. It was not delivered that day so I fully expected it to be delivered Wednesday, May 24. It was not delivered but the $111.00 was taken out of my debit card. When I called the floral shop on Thursday, May 25, to inquire about it, the person I spoke to told me they couldn't make the arrangement I chose because they didn't have one of the plants for it. They never even bothered to call or email me to see if I wanted a different arrangement. This is completely unacceptable. I live in NYS and this floral shop was recommended to me but I am not recommending it to anyone else. By the way, I had to call the shop again to see why it hadn't been delivered at 4:30 pm today. Terrible customer service!!! Wish I could have given 0 stars... Melissa is the one I spoke to after waiting over a week for someone to call me back regarding an order that was delivered. I even sent pictures of the flowers I ordered and what was delivered. I chose a 20 in bouquet with yellow and blue flowers in a blue vase. The recipient received a purple small glass block vase with multi color flowers maybe 7 in high. After speaking to Melissa, she tried to tell me the card must have been put on another arrangement by recipient. I sent her a screen shot of the flowers and card. My name was misspelled on the card itself. Melissa became very irrational when I suggested the order was switched with another. She continued to yell in the phone and eventually hung up on me. She did offer to send another arrangement but why would I send another arrangement a week and a half later. I would steer clear of this florist. I would never recommend this business to anyone. I placed an order that was never delivered. When I tried to call and sort it out I was rudely interrupted by the OWNER Penny many times and she even hung up on me! How this place is even still in business with an owner like that is beside me. When I called back she was still very rude and short but said she would look into my order and call me back the next day because it was already 430p. Never have I ever heard an excuse like that and again this is from the owner who already knows she has an unhappy customer. Well guess what I never received a call back. Ordered flowers on 12/21 for delivery on 12/23 - flowers did not show up on the 23rd - gave them the benefit of the doubt but at 4:45pm on 12/24 when they still had not shown up; I called and was told they "thought" they were out for delivery but couldn't reach ay of the drivers and to call back (here's an idea; you should look into it and CALL ME) ... as of 12/26 at 9:20am they still have not been delivered and when you call there, even though they are supposed to be open, the phone goes right to voicemail and of course the voicemail is full, probably with other callers who didn't have their flowers delivered! I received a bouquet of flowers last week for my birthday this past Monday. The person sending was told they don't deliver Monday. The bouquet contained several pretty sad looking lavender roses, a few slightly perkier lilies, a few stems of tiny carnations which eventually did open and lots and lots of fern. Since I opened the door immediately when the bell rang, the heat can't be blamed for the sad condition. I also noted that the vase water was already murky and no preservative was supplied. This was pretty disappointing but after reading many other reviews, I guess I should consider myself lucky that they arrived at all. read more

I ordered a casket spread from Katherine's Florist for my mother service. When I went to the florist to place the order the lady taking the order was telling me how great she was and how the are better than the other florists. She was talking about how she has been with the company for 20+ years and great at what she does. She was talking badly about other people that have worked with them before and other florists that say they know what they doing and are horrible. Being as she showed us photos from arrangements that she said she recently did for her aunt looked nice from the photos. I got to the funeral home at 10:40am and when I arrived the flowers were already starting to wilt, drenched in water that was soaking the casket, and the bottom half looked horrible. I immediately showed family members and also spoke with directors who all confirmed the same. My cousin called the florist immediately to let them know of the concerns. while speaking with the lady we ordered from she was extremely defensive and rude. She said nothing was wrong with the flowers, they were just delivered and the guy had just left. We told her we could send pictures and video of the flowers. She refused and said that if we didn't like them she could come take them back and refund my money. she said they just made the arrangement that morning and nothing was wrong. She again said if we didn't like them she could come take them back. We were less than an hour from people showing up and no time to get another arrangement. She was being rude and started getting loud about how i didn't know about flowers and they are the best. I was already emotional being my mother had just passed away and this woman had no comp or would even hear me out or allow me to send the video and photos to her. I asked for a photo and she got snappy and said "I'm in a hurry". Although I can understand being busy for a holiday, I am a customer and should not be spoken to like that. When I got an email to reply to her (per her request) there was no contact info and no photo. I called 12 times bc the phone was busy and then she yelled at her employee who had just got there. When I asked to speak to her she refused to speak to me and cancelled my order. We will NEVER USE THIS SHOP again.
