I used Chrissy at Premier Properties Management to rent a vacation home in Murphy,NC. I arrived at…read morenight to pick up my key to the house from the company, and it was dark. She didn't leave any of the lights on for me to be able to find the property (there is one small sign almost impossible to see at night). It was raining heavily, so it took us about 30 minutes to find the business. When I finally arrived, found the lock box to the property and put the code in, there was no key in the box. Another 20 minutes later and she finally responded to my texts, saying she forgot to put the key in the lock box. She showed up 10 minutes later, and when we discussed it she promised me she would take some money off the rental. I just receive my $200 deposit back, and she didn't take any money off the rental as promised. Poor business, I would not recommend using her.

From the first phone call, I felt comfortable. I had a list of things I wanted in the cabin and Shea help me pick the perfect one. She was friendly and helpful. The website has photos of all their listings and one cabin looks better than the other. We chose Cottage in the Woods and it was perfect for our family of 4. The day before we arrived, we got a text with the address and detailed location and a phone number to call in case we got lost. Upon arrival, the photos didn't do it justice. It was a beautiful, spotlessly clean home. There was a notebook on the table with the WiFI code, and pages of things to do in the area and restaurants and menus. Fantastic experience!! Highly recommend! Great customer service and experience. The home was very welcoming, quiet, and very clean. Exactly what we wanted.

I'm always leery to rent pet-friendly because not everyone has a "four on the floor" policy, however, cleaning beforehand should take care of things. This was not the case with this property. My parents arrived to the cabin on time but we were delayed a day and did not get to the cabin until late Christmas Eve. My parents are too nice and noticed a lot of cleaning issues (glasses put back dirty, fridge cleaned with gross rag, dirty floors, dirty surfaces) but didn't want to complain and also didn't check our bedroom on the second floor (mobility issues). When we got in to go to bed the sheets looked like they had not been changed and had dog hair (or lots of human hair) all over the sheets and pillow cases. The floors were disgusting and definitely not vacuumed as well as the side tables were filthy. I reached directly out to the property to let them know my boyfriend and I would be leaving to a hotel in town but that I wasn't going to uproot my parents and that they would be staying. I never asked for a refund but wanted them to know that whoever is cleaning did a horrendous job (Lorie according to the note) but I received a response from them that we could all go to a hotel and that they were ending our reservation the next morning at 10 am on Christmas morning. My parents are in their 70's and so we had to rush Christmas morning and miss spending it with my brother and his family in order to pack back up to vacate. I have never experienced such horrible customer service and unless you want to be kicked out for reporting something - do not rent from these people. They did credit us back for the night that they kicked us out and I was luckily able to get my parents a room as well (at a premium and more than the cabin). But this cabin was costing us $500 a night...so there was no excuse for a dirty property and bad customer service. Shame on you Mountain Escapes.

I called them and talked to Ashley who sent out Brett the same day. Brett checked the roof and provided me with an estimate to replace the roof. Since I don't live there full time Ashley said they would accommodate my schedule. I called Ashley on Monday morning the 9th of September and asked If they could do the Job that week. Ashley ordered the materials that day and on Tuesday they were delivered. The follow day Brett showed up before 7:00 am with a crew of 5 to do the Job. By 4:00 they had the Job finished. I then mentioned my shed that I should replace the roof on it also. He gave me a price and then did the shed also. What service you can't ask for any better than that !! After initial discussions, he made an appointment with us and came out to our house the next week to discuss details. As we were describing what we wanted, he began to draw out a floor plan of a house he had built in the past that was exactly what we wanted. After agreeing on the floor plan, Chris went to work and gave us a quote within a few days. We spoke, in total, to 4 different builders, and he gave us the fastest turnaround time on floor plans and cost estimates than any. We choose Chris to build our home because we knew he would manage our construction in a professional and honest manner. We knew Chris was watching over things and knew if something went wrong he would fix it. I was always told that building a house would be one of the most stressful things ever done. However, this was not the case working with Chris. We would call and ask questions and he would always answer the phone and be willing to help. He would continually give us updates. All we had to think about was which flooring, which cabinets or what color we wanted the house. The so called "stress" of building wasn't there. In every construction project there will be a problem that pops up; however, if Chris called with an issue, he was always up front and provided options on how to resolve it. We started our build in February and were moving in by August. I would highly recommend PNP Construction. If we ever remodel or add an addition in the future, Chris will be the first one we call!

I hired them to rebuild two chimneys, apply two coats of paint, caulk, rebuild a d-log siding gable, replace roof screws and put a door cover up. Seemed like everything was going great until clean up day. Next thing I know Greg is doing work he never quoted, I never authorized and was never anything I would have agreed to and telling me I owe him money. When I finally got to see the work that I authorized and paid for I was disappointed. A cable that had been attached to the prior chimney was left swing off the house. Debris from the removal of rotting chimneys was left where it fell in the yard, in the driveway and screws were left on the roof in the yard and in the driveway. The door cover is great if your 5'8" but at 5'11" you may suffer a severe head injury from its low support strut. This unsolicited work that I did agree to is bogus. I expect Greg and I will be in Court soon. My best advice to anyone reading this is to keep looking. This is not a company you want to hire. I wish I had not!
