The dress zipped and that was really all that the wedding shop cared about, but my daughter couldn't breathe. Her skin was puckered in the back and breathing was laborious. The shop insisted that everything has been done to let the dress out. They said there was nothing else they could do. Her wedding was 1 week away. My other daughter recommended Maria's Alterations because Maria had done alterations on a bridesmaid dress of hers before. When my daughter and I walked in to Maria's she listened to our story and immediately looked at the dress and told us everything she could do to make the dress more comfortable. She knew our time crunch and she dropped everything to make this a priority. She was patient, sweet and incredibly fast with her work. She made my daughter's size two dress the most comfortable it can be when it should really be a size 4. She saved the day! I would recommend Maria to anybody.
