I'm a businesswoman new to this area. I found this service and left my clothes for dry cleaning. First, I was shocked to hear it would take a WEEK before I could pick up my dry cleaning. But that wasn't the worst!! When I returned to the business a week later I was told, "we only accept cash or checks...NO cards. I looked around the store for a sign stating their payment restrictions. When asked where the motive was I was directed to a hand written 8 X 11 sign which was hanging about 12" from the ceiling which stated the payment restrictions. REALLY!!!!???? Very bad job on bra repair. I went to have my bras sewn in the areas where the underwire came out and she placed material over the opening and stitched it vs sewing the opening closed. I wish I could post the pictures I have. read more

Came to have my wedding dress altered and needed it within 2 weeks. Kathy was able to schedule me in promptly into her busy schedule. She made time for my fitting. Everything came out so perfect. Before going to Kathy, I was told to just buy the dress a bigger size but then I heard great things about Kathy's and decided to give it a try! She worked the magic!!! Went there this morning to have a dress altered and I wasn't even in the door when I was approached by a worker who asked "when do you need this by" - my answer was two weeks. A nasty women who was behind the sewing machine rapidly said to the worker "I told you I can't take on anymore work. I'm up every night till two or three in the morning working on items." First and foremost to run a business in such manner is unheard of. In addition, with the current pandemic we are facing, business owners should be extremely grateful for the customers wanting to bring them business....not turning them away. Also this was not my first bad experience with this place as two years ago I also brought a dress in for tailoring and was also turned away. It's very obviously when you walk into this hole in the wall that they are in over their heads. The place is small, smells and is cluttered with clothes on the counters and EVEN on the floor. After being turned away and seeing individuals clothing on the floor, my decision was very easy to leave and let others know how this business operates. Stay away, go elsewhere- there is plenty of other dry cleaners and tailors around that appreciate business. read more

Do not go here. I have given these people THREE chances to redeem themselves and each time I am disappointed. Never going back here again. The first dress dry cleaned was damaged, they had to repair it. Then the second dress needed a new zipper, they left the old one in and just moved it. And the third dress needed a zipper and they placed it where it wasn't supposed to be. Completely incompetent. Stay away. read more

STAY AWAY. I was extremely disappointed in Kathy's work and lack of professionalism when I confronted her about it. I had to hire someone else to undo what she did then correctly alter my gown so I could wear it to my son's wedding. I left several messages before actually getting her on the phone. She said she had no intention of calling me back because "it was a waste of time because (she) was not going to do anything about it". She basically called me a liar and refused to admit she could have make a mistake. She was totally unreasonable, even insinuating I "must have done something to the dress because there is no way it could have needed to be hemmed or taken in". Then she said" you can't prove what you claim... this is a wasted conversation and I am going to hang up"... then did. No reputable business person would act that way.
