She is super friendly, knowledgeable and makes sure you really understand what's happening. Granted, there were a few sessions where I left out the door hobbling but it was worth it. I felt better after the initial soreness went away and I could feel my foot getting stronger and stronger. She also was able to help me with exercises for issues I didn't realize were an issue. I also had a wrist issue that was caused from using a cane in the first 2 months after surgery. Based on Yelp reviews, I started at another clinic and they were nice, but after a month, I wasn't seeing results. Then I found Ace, and have been impressed with Hayley from the start. She warned me that a lot of the treatments and exercises could be uncomfortable or even a bit painful but that breaking down scar tissue was what I needed and it's painful. I appreciated the honesty and the aggressive plan of attack. I was impressed that most of my 1 hour assessment time was actually devoted to treatment so I saw results right away. Hayley has me confidant that I will have full range of motion sooner rather than later, which is worth the minor short term discomfort. Since she is also a registered Chinese Medicine Herbalist, you might be given herbs to drink. If you've never had to drink herbs, I won't lie that they are the grossest things to drink but you know what, they work. So, stop your moaning and take them because you will get better! The clinic is clean and well-organized. There are eight clean private rooms. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the prices for each visit is reasonable. I can appreciate a relaxing massage with essential oils and spa-type flair, but after about 30 mins I'm a bit bored. The No Frills massage is just that - go in and cater to your needs. Amy is my go-to RMT. I have tried their RMTs, but Amy is brilliant for me because she provides deep-tissue massage and hits pressure points. If I am honest, it hurt quite a lot in the beginning but in the best way. I felt renewed after. Since it is downtown, I typically walk or bike because parking can be a pain. The building is right outside of College station, which is quite convenient.
