Due to this, I haven't had a full body massage in probably 8-10 years. But after my magical, relaxing, and rejuvenating massage with Salina yesterday, massage is now going to be a regular ritual for me once again. In addition to being a skilled and talented massage therapist, Salina is also thoughtful, caring, and responsive. The other bonus is that Still Point is in the Tangletown neighborhood near Green Lake and Wallingford and has plenty of free street parking. Yes! Also, the building is pretty, peaceful, modern, clean, and kinda feels like walking through an Escher drawing (thanks for that analogy, Salina, it's spot on) to get to your room. She always listened to my concerns and was careful to make sure we never went beyond my pain tolerance. She also went above and beyond to accommodate my tight schedule. I have tried a variety of different things from chiropractic to massage to yoga and weird home contraptions to relieve the chronic headaches and neck pain from a car accident years ago. None of them have provided any permanent relief. After 10 sessions with Anne I have a significant reduction in headaches and upper back/neck pain. I also have relief from the knee pain I've lived with for years and feel at least an inch taller. I walk straighter and sleep better. I'm finally starting to feel like the 29 yr old I am rather than a 50-60 year old. I will absolutely continue Rolfing as I think it is the only corrective solution to chronic muscle pain. (Also, while Anne does not do medical insurance billing, I have had no problem getting reimbursed for her services under my spinal manipulation benefit).

I've have been suffering from a chronic (10+ yrs) inflammation in my ankle and nothing helped. Over the last few years, I sought traditional orthopedic help from multiple doctors, tried PT, and acupuncture. Nothing helped. Finally someone recommended Anne so I decided to give a try. I felt a dramatic improvement after the first treatment (it was almost like magic!). I did two more treatments and stopped for some time (at Anne's advice). My leg felt so much better, I started running again. This change lasted for quite a few months. unfortunately, over time the pain started creeping back in. I now go to Anne once or twice a year for a 'tune up'. Each tune-up sets me up for months. This surpassed my expectation and is the only thing I found that actually helps me and makes a lasting impact.
