First time leaving the house postpartum and really needed a nail refresh. Terrible experience. Pedicure did not come with a massage even after paying for an upgraded service. Manicure looks like a child completed it. My nails were cut but not filed at all, cuticles were not touched. Came home and immediately had to file my nails because they were still so sharp after just being cut. Basically spent $30 for her to just cut my nails down. They're at a great location but i will not patronize their establishment! Then had someone waiting an hour to replace a broken nail! Then had an attitude about! I am new to Maryland and have been on a vigorous search to find the right place for gel pedicures. I read a lot of reviews of many different places and couldn't settle on one. Then, I drove by this place and read the mixed reviews. I took a shot and hoped for the best and I was NOT disappointed. The salon is clean and nice. I was greeted by two men that were sitting down because it was a little slow when I came in. They asked me to sign in and a few minutes later I was greeted by a nail tech. Her name is Brittany and she did an EXCELLENT job. I haven't had a pedicure in 6+ weeks & still had the old gel polish on. Brittany did an excellent job communicating with me throughout the service and even picked a better nail color for me. I am so beyond satisfied. Gel pedicures was $65 which was reasonable to me. I was referred to this spa by a friend. I came in a month ago and got a gel-x set. Two weeks later one nail broke. I came in last week to get that nail repaired and the same nail broke the next day. I came in today to get that nail repaired and no one is available although they just accepted two walk-ins with no appointment. No one has said anything else to me and they keep avoiding eye contact. I will not be returning and would not recommend this nail salon. read more

Located in Bowie in the same strip mall where the South Bowie Library is located. It is nice inside, I dig the decor, there are several stations to receive services. Like most nail salons there is a pretty strong smell, but what can you do? Parking is fair to middling as there are other businesses around. I specifically visited for the purpose of nail removal. I was seen quickly and was out within 30 minutes. I have a nail tech that I'm pretty loyal too that handles my hands. I did dig the fact that they offer Apres Gel, which is all that I get done. While there I noticed a woman the roughly enjoying a pedicure. I do believe that I may return for this service. read more

The two services came to $75, ten dollars extra because I got two ombré nails. The same service would've ran $55 at my go-to spot in Florida. Anywho, Hanna provided my services and she was excellent, quick yet thorough and she was a great conversationalist. She also did a great job at recommending colors. Stopped coming here...this has been my salon for years but unfortunately they lost my business when they lied to me and told me Jenny was out of town and on vacation when in fact she left their salon. She is now at Star Nail off Crain Highway in Upper Marlboro as well as a few other ex Zen Spa employees. Zen Spa also has raised their costs quite significantly and I have found their quality has gone down. The new employees are not as experienced and do not do a quality job with shaping and polish application. My nail chipped the very next morning after going to them so less that 24 hours. I don't think the current cost of their services reflect in the final product. And it's not really an enjoyable experience for the price to make up for it. They used to offer drinks and wine but they do not anymore, so again high cost with low quality service. read more
