The best in the business!!! She taught me so much and helped my cats. She went above and beyond. Forever grateful.

They gave him an IV and something to help him, but it was too late. He was in a lot of pain and I had to make one of the hardest decisions ever. They were patient, respectful, and helpful. I wish I hadn't needed to bring him in at all, but glad that since I had to, that it was here. My 15 y/o mix had been ill for some time. NOT HERE: First, we were told he had a mass, but most likely benign. I was hopeful and scheduled his appointment for a month out. He was not looking great, so I rushed his appointment to get it removed mid-June. They removed the tumor 6/24 but by then the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes. He's been home and being taken care of. Yesterday he wasn't doing well... I took him to a different ER because it was "more affordable" - big mistake because 12hrs later and we had not been seen. Yes, I paid a little more at VCA, but now I see why.

His vets office was not open on the weekends so we loaded him in my truck and took him to VCA on Saturday night. He was assesed and deemed "stable" and we were dismissed. I was shocked that they were not interested in trying to determine the cause of the tender abdomen or lack of appetite. The next morning (Sunday) he seemed worse.. Not really responding to any of his JOY triggers or favorite people. He was just hiding under the bed. So, we loaded him back up and went back VCA. Once again, after a 2 minute "assessment" we were refused treatment because they determined he was stable enough to go home and make an appointment with our own vet. I thought for sure that they at least run some blood work or obtain some imagery of his tender abdomen, but nope, nothing. By Monday morning he was lethargic and my vet was able to squeeze him in for treatment. They did labwork and an xray/ultrasound. Determined he had a huge stone in his bladder, and we were sent to the emergency vet on Easton. By this time, the numbers coming up in his labwork were pretty soul crushing.. He was in critical condition. The stone had blocked the bladder from emptying and that caused the bladder to rupture. We made the choice to end his suffering. I truly believe that if VCA would have performed an xray then they would have seen the blockage and would have helped him empty his bladder, preventing it from rupturing. PLEASE update your policy and use more thorough assessment. My dog would still be alive if he hadn't been turned away, twice, without a proper assessment.

I called around 8:30 a.m. this morning to establish care for my two French Bulldogs and was told that they were accepting new patients but it would be a month out. The receptionist began collecting my information to create patient charts, discussed scheduling appointments for June, and was in the process of preparing the required $40 per pet appointment hold fee when the call was disconnected. When I called back later, a different receptionist informed me that the clinic was not accepting new patients and that I would not be able to establish care there. When I explained that another staff member had literally begun the intake process and was preparing to collect payment for appointments, I was simply told, "I don't know, but we're not taking new patients." The complete lack of communication and consistency was incredibly frustrating. Based on the glowing reviews, I expected a much more professional and organized experience. While I cannot speak to the quality of the veterinary care itself, the customer service and handling of front-office communication left a very poor first impression.

They can get extremely busy and it has gotten a little more challenging to get an appointment but I always commend the level of care and customer service we get from this place. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They are also really good at following up on upcoming appointments or vaccinations due to make sure your pets are up-to-date. If you are looking for a vet center, as much as I'd like to gatekeep them, this is the place to be. Highly recommend them!

Not only is he my dog trainer, he's been there for me over the years as a safe person to leave my dog with when I'm traveling. When my dog got really sick last week due to possible cancer and nearly had to be put down, he was one of the first people I thought to let know what was going on. I'm grateful for him being in my and my dog's life. P.S. Every bad review I read, someone didn't understand their contract and had expectations they shouldn't have for what they were paying. Read between the lines!

When I got my mini golden doodle puppy recently, Anthony was the first call I made to set up a private training session for him. It's great to start them off with excellent habits young and I was so happy to hear he's taking on new clients. In just ONE session, Anthony trained my goldendoodle puppy so well and taught me the parent interaction skills to get my goldendoodle to sit on command. Only 2 days after the first session, my puppy knew how to sit on command and I received so many compliments about how well behaved he is! Anthony uses positive conditioning and expert non-pain inflicting training practices to teach the pups, through good behavior, to become so well behaved while still maintaining the vibrancy of their unique personalities. Several sessions later and not only is my pup trained to stay quiet during my work Zoom calls, but I'm also geared with the parent skills and dog psychology knowledge (which Anthony has a PhD in animal psych in) taught to me by Anthony to maintain the sweet and tame nature of my puppy! I'm SO glad I got my puppy started on training with Anthony. My puppy is just as funny and sweet as ever, but my home is way calmer and the overall energy is far more peaceful and happy now since we've had our lessons with Anthony. Highly recommend K9 Pup Academy for all dog training at any age. So many trainers use questionable, very forceful tactic while Anthony is the complete, kind opposite. He is expertly geared with the excellent techniques to train pups and their parents with care, effectiveness, and most importantly - compassion. No better dog trainer out there. Call Anthony now for all of your pup's training needs!
