This review is not for the owner- rather one particular worker. I have been coming to URS Threading for many years and have visited all of their locations. This is the first time I've felt the need to leave a negative review for this location (my 5th time here). I arrived at around 6:40 p.m. (the salon closes at 7:00 p.m.). A broad-built Indian woman at the front desk said she would do my threading. I asked her to start with my upper lip, and it was noticeably painful from the beginning, though I didn't say anything. What really concerned me was that she brought the thread inside my nostril while threading my upper lip. I immediately winced in pain. In all the years I've been getting threaded, this has never happened before. It felt very unprofessional and made me question her experience. She has no communication skills at all. The people who have helped me previously in this location were all nice. I told her what had happened and left immediately without completing the service. Based on my experience, I would not trust her with threading. Very unprofessional and unapologetic.

I reached out to Evelyn to see if this was an option and she agreed to do so with the disclaimer that they may not look as polished as they would with wax which was a risk I was willing to take. It has now been a few days since I got them done and NO breakouts for the 1st time in my history of eyebrow treatments! Evelyn also wiped the area down with an alcohol prep pad afterward. I brought my sister with me for the first time, but I didn't love how my eyebrows turned out, so I wasn't planning to tip. When it was time to pay, I was charged $17.54 and was never given an option to select a tip. I was confused but paid anyway. My sister got the same service and was only charged $12.99, so I asked why mine was $17.54. She went through the transactions on her machine and said it was the tip. I told her I was never given the option to even select a tip. Then, in front of my sister, she said, "Yeah, I was confused too because you never tip." I was a little taken aback. Not only was that a very unprofessional comment to make in front of another customer, but I was also somewhat offended because I tip nearly every time I visit. I would have gotten over being accidentally overcharged this time, but being told that I "never tip" as a longtime customer left a sour taste in my mouth and made me never want to come back. I don't see how I could maintain a good relationship with this business after hearing something like that.

I seen the work on my friend and had to have them for myself. I called and made my appointment. Thuy was very professional and kind on the phone. The salon was very clean and the decor is very pretty. Thuy was very gentle and detailed. You can tell she really takes pride in her workmanship and made sure my brows were perfect. The strokes are very nice, detailed and most importantly even! I had a few procedures done at other salons in the past and you can tell they're all about the money.
