Had a great experience. Had them look at my brake lights as they were not functioning. Thought I had checked the simple item-changing the bulb. Dan and team let me know that it was in fact the bulb and while relieved about the fix, was not happy with myself for overlooking the obvious. Honest team at KCC. Trustworthy and honest. I brought my Harley in for starting issues and Dan gave me a very honest and detailed explanation of what was happening and that essentially without spending more than one would want to spend on my bike, it was something that I could live with. In fact, after dumping thousands into the thing, the issue may very well persist. Dan gave me some pointers on how to work around the starting issue and so far these are solid ways to avoid the problem I was encountering. Katy Custom could have easily taken my bike for a few days and charged my just to look at it and then pitched some expensive repair. They did not do this and instead told me honestly what was happening and without charging me a dime. Katy Custom is where I'll be bringing my Harley from here out! read more

This is best shop in town to get your bike fixed. They stand behind their work. Even when they don't have to....I've seen it. They have the most reasonable prices than the other shops too. Hopefully everyone will quit buying their parts online and buy from these guys. It is part of how they make a living...selling parts. Took my bike to them a few years ago. The bike has a S&S motor. These guys claim they are experts. Bike was running real rough and appeared to have a intake manifold leak. They insisted that was not the problem and after over $300.00 in service labor which I had to pay to get the bike back the bike ran just as bad if not worse. I took it straight to another shop. When I started it they said "you have a intake manifold leak" they replaced the intake manifold gasket the problem was now gone and on my way I went. Don't waist your time or money at this place. read more

Great experience. I have an '07 Sportster and needed new brake pads and tires. When I dropped it off, Randy got all of my info and told me they would work up an estimate and call me later that day. I received a phone call about an hour later and was told they would replace my tires and only my rear pads, and that if they found anything else wrong the would call prior to doing anything. The front pads were fine and didn't need changing. I love that they didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. The cost was reasonable and they didn't try to bend me over in labor costs like Mancuso's does every time I bring it to them. I am 38 years old and dreamed of a Harley since I was a kid. I just recently bought my first Harley, a 1989 Electra Glide that had some problems. These guys have been awesome through the whole process. Dan never tried to rip me off.....never tried to sell me something I didn't need....or let me spend more than was necessary before we knew the bike was road worthy. I have been using this establishment for the past (3) three years and the quality of service and customer satisfaction is second to none in the cycle repair arena and best in regards to dealership services in fact dealers could learn something from these guys--namely the customer comes first ! Being somewhat new to the riding community and what it takes to maintain a scooter correctly- Dan and Randy have kept me on course and have saved me money in the process, always a smile and a hardy hello when customers arrive and after a while you're like family with this operation. I have made several friends since visiting the establishment and they always introduce me to customers and that's always appreciated and makes you really feel like family. it was time to rebuild my 96 road king, 182,000 miles on my precious baby. this was on 3-9-17, i was looked straight in the eye and told "it will take about 2 weeks". i thought, oh sure it will be 4 weeks tops! it is now 4-16-17, easter! i have been by the shop several times, the people have been great, i voluntered to get parts and expresed my interest in their work. this wait has now become excessive. they have used "the heads are not back yet" and "we been very busy". i will get back to this review, but right now i am afraid my opinion of their work may not be very high. read more
