My experience was not a good one. After purchasing products over $1k they seem rude to me.

Horrible customer service. Very rude old gray dude just looks at you upon entering, no greeting. Doesn't want to print small jobs, never wanted my business. I'm a licensed doctor, plenty of money but was in sweatshirt so he deemed me less important it seems. read more

I just called this store and was interrupted a few times by the person who answered the phone. He did ask me about a paper size I had inquired about but was not at all interested in helping me. He made me feel like he didn't care about my request and I felt Customer Service needs improvement. If he is just having a bad day, I'm sad I encountered him during this time. I'm a local comic book creator & wanted to support a local business by getting some art prints done. I was refused service because the content was deemed offensive. The supposedly offensive content was a cartoon illustration of a middle-finger hand gesture, which was taken from a published work that is available in comic shops all across the US, available at Amazon, Wal-Mart, Barnes & Noble, and many other mainstream outlets. This business is perfectly within their rights to deny service, but if you want to support local artists and support free speech, do not send your print jobs here. read more

Saw absolutely beautiful purple ombre Wedding Invitations on pintrest, went to check the cost, and our measly 100 invitations before an rsvp card added on would have been over $3500... I contacted Katy Printers, and asked Matthew if they could print my invites on a watercolor my sister painted for me. He said "Absolutely!" I scanned the painting, and we custom ordered 2 embossing dies so he could gold foil the invitations. They came out absolutely gorgeous. I even got to keep the custom dies, which are so cool on their own, I even framed those! We ended up with 100 invitations, 100 detail insert cards, and the 2 dies for under $1000. Would absolutely recommend contacting them for any printing needs. Oh, and swing by Los Cucos next door to them for a great Tex-Mex meal when you're done! read more

The owner and his son were very helpful and kind. Went in to get an idea of brochures we wanted printed. I didn't have it ready within specifications it needed to be in for the type of print job I wanted. The owner (I wish I took his name) took the time to show me what I needed to do to fix it on my end and asked I come back so he can help me print brochures the way I envisioned them. I didn't feel rushed out or made to feel incompetent like those big name stores that have an actual printing dept to help people. We will definitely be back. This is the first review I have ever done on Yelp...that's how impressed and grateful I am for Katy Printers. I sent images for my Save the Dates for my wedding to a competitor off Mason and the prints came back unusable despite having an "inspected by" tag on them. I sent the same images to Katy Printers after my fiance googled for someone else in the area. Not only did they have my prints ready the next day, they were $50 cheaper than the competition, and came with envelopes which the others did not. The cards turned out perfectly! I just love them. Not to mention that the price for the 2 posters was even less than what their competitors would have charged me for one! I patronized this business yesterday for the first time. Drove 30 minutes to get there. What a pleasure this place is! I had a thumb drive with a big Powerpoint presentation that needed to be printed. Job was excellent, dialog was excellent, service was excellent. I then had them bind 4 copies with spiral and clear front cover plus a back. I could not have received better treatment. Before using K.P., I had called OfficeMax who wanted to charge me 50% more, and the guy who answered the phone barely understood the basic print job - reflecting employee mentality vs an owner/operator. While waiting, I browsed their shelves and stock, buying what I need for home. Prices were less than Walmart! Highly recommended, and note that this is a small business with outstanding service. I went in Friday 3/13 around 1:30 for a small number of business cards. He provided me with some very good options. I made my selection. They told me they would have them ready Monday. They called me a little after 4pm on Friday and said they were ready. Honestly I was surprised but in a good way. I stopped by that same day before closing and picked up my cards. I told the owner I wanted an exact color. The cards turned out perfect. If you want an as advertised product then stop by Katy Printers for your printing needs.
