We discussed a plan of action, she sent the prescriptions to my pharmacy and before I could drive across town they were ready and waiting for pick-up. I had a follow-up appointment two months later so we could discuss how the program was working and if any changes needed to be made. I requested a few changes and she agreed. I did not feel strung along with additional appointments. If you are unsure of what YOUR INSURANCE is not going to cover you should contact them in advance and let them know what you are going to see the doctor for. They can provide you with a quote. Be pro-active and you are more likely to save yourself some money and definitely have better overall health. Your doctor is your health advocate, not GOD. She takes her time and never rushes me out, she listens and even remembers previous conversations.
