We rented a condo in Waipouli Beach Resort during the week of 10/28. It was my mother's birthday so I wanted to have flowers delivered and Kathy helped provide the details and had the housekeepers open the unit prior to our arrival so that they were there and waiting for us. The unit was excellent. Very clean. Close to shopping and restaurants. Granite counter tops, a W/D in the unit, large living space, and an excellent view. The only negative I can think of is that the pool and lazy river aren't heated . Other available amenities like the restaurant, fitness room, excursion desk, etc. are great. This is the first time we've rented a condo instead of staying at a hotel but are already planning our next visit to Kauai and will be using Kauai Calls to rent a unit in the same complex. read more

I reserved four days at Lea Nani in Kauai via Kauai Calls and Tina Funk. Today my son broke his knee and will need surgery. The surgeon says my son cant travel for at least a month after surgery. I emailed the doctor's letter to Kaui Calls and Tina Funk. Our reservation is 23 days from today. The policy at Kaui Calls is you can cancel your reservation up to a month ahead. They offer travel insurance which I was stupid enough not to take. I know this was a big mistake. We are eight days beyond their 30 day deadline. But they won't make an exception and the person on the phone keeps saying " we can't we can't". This reservation is at peak time for Kauai and they have three weeks to fill it. I realize they don't have to be compromising, and they aren't. I am also in the rental business and when someone's child needs surgery I make the exception. read more

I rented 352 at the islander from Kauai Calls. First day the air conditioner was not working so we call and talk to Kathy and she said she'll have someone out to fix it. a guy come out the next day. it works a couple hours. so, I call back and tell them. they're telling us it will take 10 days to get part so we will be without air conditioner for 10 whole days with 80% humidity. and all they can say is read the fine print that says there not responsible if the air-conditioning goes out. After paying $256.00 a day for 10 days. Kauai Calls has so many fake people making fake reviews. Stay away from this company. they don't stand behind what they advertise like a new Air-conditioner. read more

Waipouli doesn't care. we liked the resort until we went to try and bbq on the provided ones in the pool area and the bbq exploded on my mom and grandma. the access panel flew off and burned my moms leg along with the flames burning them and my foot along with my grandma as well. the resort security called ems and we were treated but after the security was rude and unsympathetic. they acted like it wasn't a big deal and said that it was on us since we refused medical care which is not true since they were treated on scene. the lack of care from staff was just so unprofessional and we have been trying to talk to someone and just keep getting the run around. We were contacted by Candace the owner and she doesn't seem to think it's that big of a deal either. no one has even tried to make sure we are okay. we have excursions planned and tons of money into this trip which now we won't be able to enjoy tahnks to Waipouli and the carelessness of their staff. would not recommend going. read more

I had tried changing the dates of my trip Candace told me they had no available dates left. I looked at other booking sites and the same room did have other dates. All we needed to do was change the dates and she lied about there not being any other dates. One top of it she added fees that were never mentioned after I spoke with her. Terrible customer service would not recommend this company. She won't work with you even with COVID and charges whatever she likes. Wouldn't even give one star but have to put something. read more

Discouraged and disappointed with the Management of Kauai Calls. The description of the unit they rented was misrepresented. It said newly decorated and away from the road. Our unit was very old and rundown. The carpet was worn and dirty. The Upolstery was dirty. The kitchen and bath was old and rundown. The porch was on a busy road not on the highway but we were 20 ft away from a very busy road. They do not have any cancellation policy so you are stuck. We left and lost $750. The said they tried to rent the unit but never contacted the manager of the resort called Plantation Hale. They manage private units in resorts and you should rent directly from the resort. Kauai Calls takes care of the owners of the units but not the guests. The unit was a dump and we were stuck. You cannot tell by looking at the pictures and the description. If we had rented from Plantation Hale directly they have a 24 hr cancellation policy. Don't rent from Kauai Calls read more

We stayed at the Wailua Riverside Cottage. What a blast! It's our new favorite. What a location! Walk across the driveway you're in fresh water on the river, a block away is the salt water ocean! We loved having all the water toys, kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards. We were able to pack light knowing it had a washer and dryer. Candace is a five star gem!! the Waipouli Resort is our favorite place to stay. Clean rooms, great amenities, onsite dining, amazing pool!! The rooms are clean and well kept. The resort if located about 45 mins to Poipu and 30 mins to Hanalei Bay. FYI, there are a few different ways to books rooms. We always used "Kauai Calls", which we love their units! There are others but we have not used any others to book. Highly recommend KAUAI CALLS TO BOOK ROOMS AT THE WAIPOULI RESORT. Friendly staff, great service. Kathy is great!! read more

We stayed at Pili Mai 2M. Great modern condo with a lot of shops and eateries close by. The management company was very responsive from start to finish even before we got to the island. We will definitely recommend this place to others. The pool, spa and fitness facility was also neat and clean. Thanks for a great stay here. My family and I have used Candace, Shannon, and the Kauai Calls Team to book two or three trips to Kauai. When we had to make some changes to the schedule, they worked with us and were very helpful and accommodating to assist us. They have excellent follow u as they call you to make sure that you have everything that you need. I have called them many times and they always answer the phone, no matter where and when it was. We stayed a few nights at the Waipouli beach resort. The condo was very spacious with everything we needed. We made yummy meals and saved a bunch on food by going to the food land across the street, costco, and farmers markets. We also enjoyed the ability to wash our clothes which was very nice. The condo itself was beautiful with great upkeep. We liked the bag that was provided with complimentary coffee, chocolates, etc. We didn't like the linens as much because they were a bit old and the rental items we requested (cooler and foldable beach chairs) were dirty and rusty so we didnt use them. At one point we couldn't get one of the appliance to work and Candace sent someone right away to fix the issue. Very good service! The location was also great to go to wailua river for the scenic kayak and waterfall hike, and an hour drive to Poipu for poipu beach, Waimea canyon, and the water sprouts. Of note, when we were in Poipu it was super hot and dry! We actually preferred the climate in Waipouli. Not to mention the proximity to Costco and the shops around there. We then splurged on a resort in Princeville and did all our swimming and snorkeling there so it made our trip more varied and cost-effective! read more

From the moment our reservation was booked back in December, to the moment we arrived yesterday in Kauai, Kauai calls has been nothing but wonderful to us. I received both a phone call and an email when the reservation was booked going over every detail. The week of our trip, we had a very detailed email outlining everything for us. Not one thing has gone wrong during our stay and it has been nice to have a worry free vacation. They have bent over backwards to meet any needs we may have had, answered all of our questions, and have made us feel very welcome here on the island. We really enjoyed our time at waipouli beach resort F401. The pools and waterfalls and sand bottom Jacuzzi was awesome. The high end appliances in our kitchen and washer and dryer which is always a plus... We were lucky to catch the live music on Wednesday in the oasis bar Adriane Guerrero ukulele underground... Excellent... Candice and Cathy from Kauai calls were very helpful and the check-in was easy and there was a book in the condo explaining everything about the resort and condo. I would have gave this condo 5 stars if it had a full ocean view. We had a partial ocean view from the bedroom overlooking the parking lot and between the buildings. I think the description for this condo should state partial ocean view. I would definitely stay here again. read more
