Scams. They pull all sorts of nonsense when it comes to billing. Do not trust what they tell you. Luckily I know a higher up at my insurance company and it got resolved. Otherwise I'd be out who knows how much. Scam, scam, scam. And they don't do a damn thing for your ailments. Complete fraud doctors. Heard my back crack one time. Other than that never felt anything beyond a very light massage. They did nothing. Rolled me around a few times. I couldn't even feel it. Not sure how they're in business. read more

I went here since I had 12 free visits. I was OK, I have COPD and most of what was done to my stopped my breathing. They put me on this table and it hurt me so bad I was going to get a lawyer. I complained but all they care about is the $46 I owe them for this free service! Even my insurance questioned why I have to pay. I really don't recommend going here since they really don't listen or didn't even meet my needs. I got more pain from here then feeling better. It's sad! read more

Doctor's experience great! Cannot say the same for office experience. Have tried on several occasions to set up a payment plan because services where not covered under my insurance. This has been going on for over a year. To my surprise the payment plans where verbally agreed to but not accepted it. Unfortunately I found out the hard way I was told that the entire balance must be paid in full before services could resume. There lack of communication has caused me not to be able to schedule needed appointments until I come up with the entire outstanding balance. Good job front office. Thanks for making my situation worse. read more

I heard good things and came in after a week of traditional steroids and muscle relaxers hadn't helped my neck and shoulder. A small tweak had progressed into a pinched nerve pain that is worst I've ever had. I was taken to exam room and shown a cheesy b.s. video about chiropractic. Yellow flag raised since I have been to numerous chirapractors and the one truly terrible one I had seen was super-positive "powers on" con artist disguising a lack of skill with feel-good gaslighting. The film sort of triggered this memory, but hey it's just an intro film. Exam was ok but chiro barely touched me at all, took at least four x-rays, told me there was no charge since I was referred, then walked me to the front. To be clear, I was IN PAIN and they did NO adjustment and wanted to set me up with an appointment four days away due to Memorial Day weekend. When I asked about pricing I got the vague "it's varies....depends on treatment...blah blah" routine. So. Cheesy film. Almost no touching. No adjustment, just leave in pain. Car salesman "no charge" routine but then vague about pricing. Cancelled and started researching. Found the right place (see my other reviews) but Kauffman was NOT it. read more

I was in a car accident and I had so much pain in my neck but I didn't get symptoms until a year later not realizing it was from my accident. If I could, I'd give them 0 stars. The doctor was ok, but the front desk woman were terrible. The FREE consultation is NOT free and they had the nerve to say they would waive the fees. So if there are fees, how is it a free consultation?? Once I confronted them about the charges, they began to stutter over their words to try to find a response. They never did. They also billed my insurance and submitted a claim to my insurance without my signed Patient Billing Acknowledgment Form. Also to mention, during the COVID-19 pandemic, no one working there had on a mask! Super careless! There are sooo many chiropractics available; please do yourself a favor and choose another! read more

Everyone there has been extremely kind and helpful. I think many people don't realize that chiropractic care isn't always a "walk in, crack, and everything is better" sort of treatment. As someone who suffers from migraines regularly staying on a regular schedule to maintain my spine and neck has made a huge impact on the frequency, severity, and duration of each migraine. And if I'm between appointments and in pain I can call and they are almost always able to get me in quickly. The staff are incredibly friendly and truly care. read more

This place is a huge scam! All they want is to collect money for x-rays. Horrible customer service! Tiffany and Mariah were both extremely cold. First, the process was not explained to me at all. I walked in with a hurt neck after being in a minor car accident. I was clear that I was there to get my neck worked on that day. Not only did they not work on my neck but they took X-rays without my consent, scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks later and handed me a bill for $500.00. I asked them for my X-rays since there was no point in me returning two weeks later and they said I couldn't have them or get copies. It was after 5:00 p.m. so other chiropractor offices were closed. I went home to rest my painful neck. When I called the next day to speak with a manager the desk lady said that there is never s manager there and that I couldn't have the number to reach one. I don't know if the workers there are trained to be so shady or if that's something they picked up on their own. I called a different Kauffman location in hopes of getting someone to listen to me. Their website says that they only have certain people take X-Rays but when I asked Tiffany why they had taken X-rays without telling me first she replied that it was policy for everyone to take x-rays. Is it policy to deceive people? Treat people like cattle and not listen to them when they speak? I was there for a hurt neck and these people rushed me in to collect insurance money for x-rays and pushed me back out the door. Then told me that they only had time to see me again 2 weeks later... Uhm don't you think you should have told me that in the first place?! On top of that someone there (Tiffany my rep said) keeps lying to my insurance representative telling them that they will give me copies of my X-rays and that I refused a copy on my first and only appointment. When I talk to Tiffany myself she says I can't have a copy but that she can give me a letter describing what the x-rays said for a fee of $35.00!! At this point I don't think they actually took x-rays. They are scammers who just want insurance money. I'm two seconds from hiring a lawyer. read more

I was referred to Kauffman Chiropractic by my mom who had experienced great results and relief from her back pain. The doctors and staff are very friendly and know you by name. They make sure that you are well taken care of. Ashley, Bianca, and Diana are super nice, pleasant, and attentive. The doctors are helpful and are glad to answer any questions you may have. The entire treatment (adjustments, massages, traction, physical therapy, etc.) is non-invasive, so you can feel as comfortable as possible. Went to Kauffman Chiropractic's booth at the county fair and a kind Amber did a quick electronic evaluation and convinced me I needed help. For $20 I could get xrays and evaluation. Paid the money, set my appointment. They gave me a brand new chiropractor (2 months in per the receptionist - when I asked afterwards) that day who read me scripts as she went along the course of my visit. My confidence was waning. Came back a couple days later for the results and she assured me their services would take care of all issues COMPLETELY, still reading from her scripts. She then wanted to go ahead and do a treatment without telling me how much it would be. When I asked she did not know. I gave them my insurance info on the first visit and told them the second visit that when they found out what insurance would do to let me know and I would be in. That was 2 weeks ago and have not heard except I just received a bill for the $20 I already paid at the fair. They must think very highly of themselves - I am not convinced of their assessment. read more
