After completing the treatment, I had gained nearly 15 lbs., putting my weight at 212 lbs. I tried a well-known weight loss program and lost the 15 lbs., but I was unable to sustain it. I re-enrolled with the Schererville, Indiana location and I successfully lost those 15 lbs. on the LIPO program; however, I wanted to further accelerate my weight loss. Covid lockdown in IL in 2020 blocked…read moreall local physical therapy (hereafter 'PT') options so I've driven 100+ miles round trip 1x/week for the past 6 months to Crown Point. Dr. Art is phenomenal - he quickly, accurately diagnosed underlying cause of my shoulder pain, explained it and then prescribed a relatively simple PT cure - stretching & progressive strengthening exercises. It has produced amazing results - my shoulder pain is virtually gone and as an added bonus my upper arms look great! Next my wife strained her lower back 2 mos. ago so I brought her with. Dr. Art diagnosed and remedied her back pain. But much more importantly he convinced my wife she might be able to overcome her balance issues (resulting from suffering a stroke 17 yrs ago) & possibly eliminate her reliance on a cane if she undertook a PT exercise program (again stretching & progressive strengthening exercises). In 8 weeks she's made great progress so we're very optimistic! Finally Dr. Art's been considerate & flexible re our stingy insurance provider - since they won't cover our PT sessions we pay Dr. Art directly.
