She was super nice and helpful. Everyone who worked there was nice and professional. This was one of the best experiences that I've had at a DMV. Btw: they're only letting one person per household inside, if you need someone else to go through the process. The other person has to stand at the exit door until they're needed. They're letting children go in with the adult. Mask are required.

In order to obtain a license, you must make an appointment that is easily accessible by going online to the website and scheduling for one. Once you schedule your appointment, you must bring all the required documents with you to the appointment that can be found on the website. Upon entering, you will be asked to fill out any additional paperwork and take a ticket number, and wait for your number to be called by one of the representatives. My only issue is that they make it very difficult and hard for you to obtain a license. There are so many protocols that you have to follow, and I feel it's a lack of trust in today's world. After trying to obtain a TX license for over 5 years and visiting the DPS 4 times and taking all of the online drivers courses, watching the videos, and taking the drivers test 2 times I finally did it and got it. Do I feel that everything I did with my time and money was worth it since I have been driving accident free and ticketless for the last 25 years Was worth it? No, I don't, and I'm really upset about this process because I live in a state where at least 90% of the people on the road break all the rules and absolutely deserve not to have a license but instead I'm the person who had to go through a grueling process of obtaining a license. I'm thankful my license doesn't expire for the next 10 years, and after that, I can easily renew it online for the next time.

When she finally finished, I went up to the counter. She looked like she was annoyed. I told her what I needed. I then asked if I could add another placard, and this clearly made her mad. She slapped them both down after I paid. She did not say, "Thank you", "Have a good day", or anything at all. I said, "You're welcome" and she said, "For what?" I am sorry, Mindie, if you don't want to work or don't like your job, but that is not my fault. I hope you learn better customer service skills.

Then when I said per your requirements I need to do this and a few other things. She said were to busy fill this out and we will reschedule you in a few days or a week. Several months go by nothing. I went back recently and was told that I needed to bring my brother (62 years old ) to verify my address because he gets mail I don't. I do everything paperless. Its 2026 mail requirements are so 1950 s. I bring him then I told I need another item they never mentioned. I said ok since my brothers here now can we just verify my address so he doesn't have to come back? No he needs to come back!!! Really. I went back with mail I had this time and was told I needed a social security card this time! Never said that in 3 trips. No one says the same thing each person tells me a different thing.. please get consistent!!! It's like they find more ways to not get me a license each time it's a Joke!
