There's no intermission but if you need to go to bathroom you can go out the back side door to your left facing stage. It's not a far walk from the subway. It's about 1block, around the corner. Very close to union square. Tickets are about 17.00 dollars for one show, $52 for 6 shows. Definitely would go again.

(They even thew in a deep cut encore song). The concert was held inside the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre, which has great acoustics. The stage accommodated the 145 musicians. It was originally able to book it from two months before for members. Now they are saying 6 months before without any notice for existing members. On top of that they are accepting even earlier booking if they can get extra money. Now they are just busy adding additional prices. This is place is not reliable anymore.

The performance was outstanding. The New Victory theater small and intimate. The process to get in was seamless and they had sufficient staff to accommodate the crowds. The Hayes Theater is pretty small, with bathrooms on lower levels. I was always seated in the Orchestra, so I had a really good view of the stage. Of these two shows, I found Becky Shaw to be extremely lackluster compared to Marjorie Prime.

As someone who was genuinely excited to try something new and empowering, I was shocked by how publicly dismissive the instructor was. Aaron moved me out of the front of the class and made a comment in front of everyone implying that those who don't know the steps should stay in the back. This wasn't helpful--it was humiliating. Several people laughed, and the energy shifted from welcoming to shameful in seconds. I've never been treated like that in a learning space. I reached out to the studio about the experience, and the response I got was a rushed, copy-paste message offering me another class without actually addressing what happened. No accountability. No sincere apology. Just a blanket statement saying their instructors are "caring" when my experience clearly says otherwise. If you're a true beginner looking for a safe and encouraging environment to try heels dance--this was not it. I hope the studio takes better responsibility in the future for how instructors treat new students.
