Great coffee that is reasonably priced - I appreciate being able to get an iced latte that's not $7. I got the iced coconut raspberry latte, which was deliciously not too sweet. The baristas were super friendly. Lots of space for meeting up with a friend or working solo. One wall is mostly just windows. Background music is a random mix of indie folk guitar stuff. I am not annoyed, which is 45% of what I'm asking for in most coffee shops. For those who are looking for a coffee shop that stays open after 3 pm on the weekends, this is your spot because they close at 7 pm. Lots of things that I like in a coffee shop. I'd be happy to come back and try another drink! Bonus: there is a spacious picturesque park with a lake is a couple blocks down from the coffee shop. Went to this place solely for the coffee flights and they unfortunately don't do them in the winter! Got a chai latte instead, it was fine but nothing noteworthy. They did have a good menu that wasn't over priced and a good variety of bagels/cream cheeses. Ample seating for all sizes of parties. There's not much else around here, so wouldn't go out of my way to go here. But if you're driving by, may as well stop. read more

Nice and spacious coffee shop that offers a ton of flavor options! We got a pumpkin latte and peppermint mocha latte and they both tasted as they should. We were brought back to those seasonal holidays in our minds through the well crafted flavors of these lattes. The service was friendly and quick. My first time here, I think you need a number system or a pen for your business. People- couldn't speak English were standing at the pick up counter, they grabbed a coffee (mine) before they could call it out , she took my drink !! Needless to say no one working here knew where my drink was, had to wait wait for them to remake it. This where something needs done so this doesn't happen again. I just came the hospital after having a procedure done, wanted to eat something and needed coffee, I was in a lot of pain. Big mistake. Will not be back!! read more

Kave is under new ownership and things are different but some things remain the same. They have the same great space for mingling with a groups of friends to play games, chat, or listen to live music on a Thursday night. The drink offerings appear to be the same as well. The coffee best is a little different. It now faces the entrance. The service is different as well. The barista was very friendly, knowledge, engaging, helpful, and took coffee and service seriously. And my drip coffee drink tasted really good, even without adding sugar or cream. I definitely plan to return for Thursday night open mic night and for some good coffee. read more

Friendly coffee shop right downtown Barberton, a stone's throw away from the beautiful Lake Anna. It is pretty roomy inside with plenty of seating, and the coffee is good and very reasonably priced. For the middle of the afternoon on a weekday there was a decent crowd! Clean and warm ambiance added to the vibe. I found a parking spot right out front. The only drawback is that they open up super late (7am) for being a coffee shop and are closed on Sundays. Love this place! Super friendly staff and the inside is so spacious...plenty of room to work or meet up with friends. They have outdoor seating when the weather is nice too. Every coffee drink I've had there has been great and they have a good variety of flavored syrups and alternative milks to create your own combination. I recommend getting a mocha and adding peanut butter and coconut for a sweet treat (we've dubbed it the Wrigglebits)! Very cute café-- a perfect spot for students to unwind and study during the school year! During the warmer months, I would highly recommend checking out their rooftop patio, although the interior of the shop is also spacious & very clean. Kavé is very involved within the community and regularly hosts open mic nights, rooftop yoga sessions, and displays the work of different local artists. Kavé is also located in a very nice area of Barberton, close to Lake Anna, Lake 8 Movies, the Barberton Public Library, and several very welcoming small businesses. I've heard great things about their tea, but I've never been able to taste much of a difference between their different flavors of coffee. Still, I would highly recommend paying Kavé a visit! read more

I love this place so much if you want to go to get coffee and need to wake up then go here because it is very wakening and you will not regret it. This place doesn't only have coffee they have smoothies, iced teas and etc. I swear you will not regret going they even have a sitting area that you can play board games will you drink your coffee and you can just sit on the couches and feel comfortable. My husband and I decided to try out a new cafe and when searching for a local one, Kave came up and thought we'd check it out. Well, we have been missing out as this cafe is adorable. Very trendy in appearance , and the quality of service is top notch. They were busy. My latte was superb though I did ask for it to be warmed up. We will definitely be returning as they have entertainment, a roof top seating area, and an assortment of food items we have yet to try. Best wishes kave but not my fave. It was just sssslllooww - not just busy but needlessly slow, like - the employees are chatting slow. We waited in line for a few minutes, I ordered, paid - went and waited for a while for the bathroom. Used the bathroom, came back, no customers were in line or waiting, except my husband who was just standing there. There were 4 employees behind the counter. Then, one started to make my drink just then! Come on man! If the drink was amazing I would overlook that. The drink was a mocha that was too sweet. But the coffee itself had a mildly burned flavor while the chocolate flavor was like sugary. It was almost 5$. We got it "for here" but since it had already been like 15 minutes we had to go. Hey - im not from the area. So this may be a 4.5 star place around here. Why not give it a try. You may love it! And there were several customers there who were enjoying. Or maybe it is mostly a brewed coffee kinda place. But the stars brought me here. And i felt mislead. So 2 stars from me. Id give it one but I did leave with the coffee that I had ordered so that was good. I usually do not leave bad reviews. But i made a special trip over here while somewhat near the area, and I wanted to be honest and give an alternate viewpoint of this place. Prices are right on point. Atmosphere is cozy yet open and inviting. Comfy chairs are scattered throughout the art exhibit area. Yes, the coffee house is attached to a art gallery. Local artists display their works of art. There is a small community room that can be used for meetings. In the warmer months, they throw open the garage style doors to the street. Small tables and chairs are set up just outside. Various activities are scheduled within the gallery and around the immediate area. More resident artists can be found across the street at ACoT. Many amenities surround this quaint coffee shop. Stop in grab a cup and wander the downtown Art District. read more
