Apparently they no longer do that. I was more than happy to buy five or six loaves of different products, but I needed that hand sliced and put in a box. The answer was no. I guess they'd rather not have any sale Than to accommodate a customers needs that are very simple to accommodate. There were no other people in the store, they were not busy and they definitely have a knife for slicing bread. I wound up going to a different local baker who is more than happy to do this for us.

Located close to the location of a large meeting I was part of, I was easily able to pick up 2 dozen donuts on the morning of my meeting. The extremely nice woman behind the counter hooked me up with two boxes of assorted heaven. As an avid donut eater and a bit of a connoisseur of mans most delightful creation, DDandC nailed it. Fresh, good ingredients and a lot to choose from. The two dozen doughnuts that I brought in to my meeting were essentially demolished. As I was not local, the people who were local were extremely interested in knowing where I picked them up and I happily told them. A few had even mentioned being there before and some even planning to go. would I go back? 100%. Whenever possible, I bring a box or two of doughnuts to customers. When I do, I make it count and the people notice. When they see that I've actually searched out for a really good local doughnut shop, they appreciate that and take note. I'm not bringing in your fast-food donut places garbage "donuts" either. I'd rather bring nothing at all if I can't get the goods. And then specialty flavors that they make only on individual days. So if you're picking up Saturday, you pick between the Everyday and Saturday, and seasonal menu. We got 6 flavors, 4 of each.
