I love to support small local businesses, especially when they are literally in your backyard- but as genuinely nice as these folks are, I cannot give any kind of positive rating for the food here. I ordered General Tso's and String Beans with Garlic Sauce, and while the rice was EXCELLENT, there was obviously MSG in the food, which gummed up my tasting experience. I tried to eat the General Tso's but ended up throwing it away :-( it was so heavily breaded, and tasted a bit of freezer burn. The string beans were just numbing in their MSG-ness. So sad. They are extremely nice people, but I can't ever eat there again :-( read more

My personal favorite for Chinese order out in Bedford Park. The lunch specials are cheap and you get a ton of food with it, fast, they have chilli oil on standard order so I don't need to ask for it in Chinese every time! Also, I think this is the only place that has General Tso's Tofu lunch special. The funny thing is that the restaurants name is 加华 （加華） which is more accurately Jiahua in English. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant near by. Their portions are fair and the prices are cheap while food is still great. If there's any issue with an order they fix it immediately and they offer free delivery as well. Their wait time is pretty short and their delivery time (apart depending on where you live)is super fast. I love four blocks away and it usually takes 20 minutes. I've been ordering from here for about 8-9 years and I've never had a major problem with food, or service. Their hours are also very convenient and they're open almost every day of the year. I can say I order about 2-3 times a month and it has been my favorite Chinese take out restaurant since I started eating there. I highly recommend the honey and Thai chicken wings as well as the house special Lo-mein. Well where do i begin. I ordered 2 diner specials both of them came out extremely bad. The rice was very uncooked, they used stale ingredients, the meat had a foul smell, and the 2 home made iced tea's that i ordered were pre-made way too early making the smell bad and un-tasteful. When the food finally arrived the delivery man gave us the wrong food, then he came back again and said it was a mistake and took it again, then came back one more time to fix his mistake.
