I'm used to them being mostly breading but these are ridiculous. The shrimp size is a fourth of the overall breading. I have ordered from Kawah Chinese Restaurant on Valentine Ave about four times now, and I have to say that my overall experience has been fairly average. The food, including the Chicken Fried Rice, Fried Chicken Wings, and General Tso Chicken, is what I would consider standard fare for Chinese cuisine. If you happen to live in the neighborhood or come across a good deal on Uber Eats, Kawah Chinese Restaurant might be worth considering. However, I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to dine here, as there isn't anything particularly outstanding about their offerings. The Chicken Fried Rice was decent, but it lacked that extra flavor or ingredient that would make it memorable. The Fried Chicken Wings were cooked well, but they didn't have any special seasoning or unique twist to set them apart. As for the General Tso Chicken, it was satisfactory but didn't leave a lasting impression. In summary, Kawah Chinese Restaurant is an average establishment. It's not terrible to the extent that you should avoid it, but it also doesn't offer anything exceptional that would make it a standout choice. If you find yourself in the area or stumble upon a good deal, it could be a decent option, but there are likely other Chinese restaurants in the vicinity that may provide a more remarkable dining experience. read more

On the positive side, the cashier who actually spoke with me was kind and apologetic, but he ultimately had no decision making authority so the issue was not resolved. I didn't even want a refund I just wanted my food. The bare minimum for customer service is that your customer receives what they paid for or you refund them and apologize. Guess I'm on the hunt for a new local sushi spot.
