    Chicken Fried Rice
    Rehnuma K.

Lin's might be my new local go-to for pan-Asian cuisine in North Bronx! My takeout order was ready for pick up within minutes, the staff was friendly, and everything was packaged perfectly. The inside was clean and spacious when I stepped in with a nice, casual atmosphere when I stepped in. As for the food, everything tasted fresh, delicious, and perfectly satisfying! I had the chicken fried rice, the spicy crunch salmon roll, the pepper tuna avocado roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. All of the rolls tasted great-- the best one being the pepper tuna for me-- and the preparation and quality really allowed the flavors to shine. However, my favorite item turned out to be the chicken fried rice. The chicken tasted just a bit caramelized for a savory, umami-rich dish that was not at all greasy. I would definitely come back just for this fried rice! Overall, Lin's was definitely worth it with the reasonable prices justifying the portion sizes and quality of the food!

White Tuna Jalapeno Roll, Spicy Crunch Kani Roll, Fried Oyster roll, Fried Banana Tempura, Miso Soup

I ordered sushi and got the White Tuna Jalapeno Roll, Spicy Crunch Kani Roll, Fried Oyster roll, Fried Banana Tempura, Miso Soup. The miso soups was really good and the fried banana tempuras are amazing. Both came hot so it was perfect. I loved the spicy crunch Kano roll and the white tuna jalapeño roll, absolutely delicious with a dipnof soy sauce and spicy mayo. The fried oyster roll was a bit bitter. The food arrived super quick. I'll def order again.

    No chicken in

I ordered food : no chicken -3-4 strips, just pasta. Juice is deluded. For tips of 15 % and delivery fee, they 45 min late and ask to ho downstairs to pick it up from them. ;(

    California roll and shrimp tempura

Very good sushi. The delivery was fast and place is clean. They have a special here two rolls for 12$ I got the California and the shrimp tempura and wow that shrimp tempura was very good. California roll was just like a California roll. What I also got was a miso soup which was nice to include considering it was complimentary. Would order from here again the food was good!

    Gyoza and Vegetable Lo Mein

I've been ordering from Lin's Asian Cuisine for delivery recently and have been satisfied with their food service. I ordered vegetable lo mein with pan fried gyoza. The food arrived pretty fast and it tasted really good as well.

Tried this place for the first time in a Friday night, around 10ish. There really aren't a lot of good Japanese places in the Bronx, and this one was on the way. This place was empty, not a good sign. We ordered 3 rolls (2 eel and 1 shrimp) as a part of a special which also comes with miso soup for $15, and a dragon roll which was around $10 give or take a couple of dollars. We also got a Kani salad. The Kani salad was ok, I do think they should shred the lettuce so it's easier to eat with the Kani, instead they have ripped leaves which are big and chunky. The rolls were not so great, the eel didn't taste fresh, and the rolls were smaller than I thought. In the shrimp roll I could barely taste the shrimp, and the tempura batter they use is different from the batter I'm accustomed to having. It's the one that looks crumbly and textured, almost like panko but finer. Also, they don't have kikoman Japanese soy sauce for the tempuras they have Chinese soy sauce, very different taste. Despite having no one else to wait on, our waitress was no where to be found and she forgot our soup, so we had to ask for it and suddenly the waitress reappeared apologized and attentively watched our table until we were done. The whole meal was about $40 with tip. But the experience wasn't pleasant, we sat in an empty dark room watching adult swim on TV eating take out tempuras. Most of their business is take out and I can see why, they have good prices and fair quality food. I do hope that this place can up it's game, until then I'll be enjoying Japanese food in the city. Happy Yelping!

Pink Lady roll is my favorite! Big fan of the light soybean paper. Fried gyoza is also a good choice.

The crispy octopus easily rivals anything I've had in Manhattan, super tender with just the right crisp. The cassava hash browns were so good I was almost annoyed by how simple they were. Paired with a rich, meaty sauce and a fresh fennel crunch, the whole dish was incredibly balanced. The wings were the most straightforward item on the menu (in the best way), lightly spiced, slightly sweet, and great for picky eaters. Someone needs to give the bartenders a raise. I ordered three drinks just to test consistency--every single one was balanced, spirit-forward, and not overly sweet. The presentation was different on each one and felt intentional without being gimmicky. I've seen some of the lower Yelp ratings and they mostly call out price, but this is very much a you get what you pay for situation. The quality of the food, the portion sizes (especially for this level of execution), and the overall intentionality behind the menu justify it in my opinion. Service was excellent. They squeezed me in last minute, and my waiter, Dionicio, handled my coconut allergy (not easy at a Dominican spot) with real care and ease. The space itself is worth mentioning - moody, mushroom/mossy interiors. Super cute, very well thought out, and definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

We stood there confused, eventually trying to find a table ourselves. Since no one was assisting us and there were no open tables available, we sat at the bar. My friend continued waiting and trying to secure a table, but there was no communication from staff. To make matters worse, another group arrived after us and was seated before us. They mentioned they had been there before, and it felt like they were given priority while we were overlooked, despite waiting longer. Service at the bar was equally frustrating. The bartender was inattentive and focused only on certain sections. It took about 10 to 15 minutes just to get a simple glass of wine. We had to repeat our orders multiple times, which should have been a red flag. The appetizer, Korean wings, arrived quickly and was probably the only positive part of the evening. After that, everything went downhill. Our entrees took an extremely long time to arrive. It felt like nearly two hours. When the food finally came out, one of my friends did not receive her meal at all because the bartender forgot to put in her order. This was especially frustrating since we had repeated the order several times. When her dish, the pad Thai, finally arrived about 30 minutes later, it was mediocre at best and slightly cold. The steaks ordered by two of us were dry and under-seasoned. The vegetables were overcooked and bland. Overall, the food quality did not justify the long wait or the price. The bathrooms were another major issue. There was toilet paper on the floor and even period blood visible on the ground. It was unsanitary and honestly shocking. Cleanliness is the bare minimum for any establishment. The final bill came to $245, including an automatic $34 gratuity at the bar. Considering the service we received, this felt completely undeserved. There was no acknowledgment of the forgotten order and no attempt to make things right. As a final note, be cautious if you're wearing delicate or expensive clothing. The bar counter area has rough edges, and one of my friend's jerseys was snagged while we were sitting there. This was my first time here, and it will absolutely be my last. Between the poor service, mediocre food, lack of cleanliness, and high prices, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Between my first review and now, Ikko has maintained their relevance. They've kept up by offering decent Asian inspired apps and entrees. At the tail end of Covid they pivoted to include Seafood Boils as an option. Not a fan of boils so unsure how that option is going. Another option, Hibachi, which we also are not big fans of, unless forced upon us by friends or family. Is prepared on these red glowing tables and appears to appeal to the masses, so that's a good thing. During our visits, generally on the early side of dinner hours, service has always been attentive and our meals, most often than not are prepared as expected. There has been the occasional slight hiccup while dining in or when ordering for delivery, but nothing major. The aesthetics of this place continues to appeal with their colorful facade. And their interior is just as inviting with ambient lighting of red hues throughout the restaurant, enhancing the Asian inspired statues and textured wall designs. It's nice that Ikko has kept up with this large piece of real estate, providing decent meals and continuing to keeping themselves relevant within the neighborhood.
