I made a comment to my boyfriend that they were drinking beers and a lady working there said, "What did you say?" In an off putting tone like I was being scolded. I said, "I just said that guy's drinking a beer." And she said, again in the scolding tone that it was a wedding party. I said, "I'm sorry, I wasn't even sure what this store is." She said, "We're a men's clothing store and we accommodate wedding parties." In a tone that told me she thought I was an idiot. I was very taken a back at how rude she was to me, how she didn't try to help us, and how she didn't even try to sell the idea of this business. I can say I will not be recommending this business to anyone in the 200 head wedding we're going to in May, in fact, if anyone ever asks me for a place to find men's clothes I'll go out of my way to tell them not to go here. Message to the owner, AARON, this woman is killing your business my friend. I noticed other reviews where she's mentioned. I'm sorry you feel you have to put up w her rude behavior but she is really bringing down the business for you. My shopping experience started off being greeted by Aaron and telling him what I wanted. After looking around and deciding certain fabrics may not work well with my job we chose a different fabric and style. We chose two pants but 2 shirts of the same style in different sizes. This was the most terrible customer service experience i've ever experienced. I was visiting my…read morefamily in my hometown (I live in Chicago) and wanted to get my dress downstate so I could be with my family when picking it out and so I could benefit from how much more affordable things are in my hometown. Trying on dresses was going great and we had a couple of very solid contenders until i came out wearing a new option and saw exactly what the comments were describing. The owner who had been super nice to me when I came in was now screaming at the other group who had been trying on dresses about how they wasted her time and should have gone to another shop first and "why did it need to be her shop." This immediately made my whole appointment take a turn and I felt like if I didn't buy a dress I was also going to be yelled at. At the end of the day, I didnt feel like anything I tried on was exactly "the one" but I did have a couple that i liked and wanted to think more on. I asked my sales associate if she could keep a record of the ones we liked so if we called to purchase they would know which dress to order for us. She confirmed and let us know we could talk to the owner if we wanted to on our way out. I declined and we all tried to exit as quickly as possible to avoid a lecture for not purchasing. As we exited the business the owner screamed out the door "if you're not going to ask the price of the dress you are not going to purchase" my MOH and I popped back in (this was a mistake) and proceeded to also get a lecture where she demanded to know if i wanted to purchase downstate or where I lived, if I wanted a dress from another appointment I had had that morning more, if i had more appointments that day. Then she demanded I "just be straight with her, she's a person" -- it felt like I was going through a breakup. I've never had to explain to a store owner why I didn't want to purchase their product. She kept harping on us not wanting to know the price until I let her know I wasn't concerned about it because she had promised to stay within my budget and my mom told me she was willing to pay whatever if it was the dress I wanted. My maid of honor call d her out for being abrasive and said "honestly we were considering the dress she liked but this is extremely abrasive and ruining our experience" and then I told her "I actually really liked the dress but now I feel like I'm in trouble." After this she did dramatically switch her attitude. We had one last appointment that day and I had an absolutely amazing experience. What really sucks is the dress I liked the best was the one I tried on at down the aisle but after this experience I would never give her my money - And mostly I just don't want to have to deal with going back to this shop and risk getting in trouble again. I have a lot of friends back in my hometown engaged and looking for dresses and I will be sharing this experience and warning all of them not to visit this shop - wanted to post here as well for anyone considering! We had a really great day dress shopping except for our experience here - there are a lot of great shops in central IL. What a bizarre experience. At least it's a good story my mom, MOH and aunts will laugh about for years to come.

She runs a small store and you get the whole shop to yourself during a bridal appointment. She's very knowledgeable in her field and uses her knowledge to help her customers get the perfect fit for their dress. I was surprised to see the prices were reasonable as well…read more Although $36 is not cheap for a tank top, it is pretty darn reasonable and a price I will pay (this was a unique flowy tank top, not a plain one just fyi). A lot of botiques in Peoria (there are only a few) are expensive ($60 and up for tops, for example) so this shop was very refreshing, not to mention their clothes were cute! I will def. be back to purchase something there in the future!
