Wasn't able to get her name but w/description she's dark toned w/long black hair, I thought the pain during the process was from having so much hair bc I was growing them out, but when I got home, washed up, I felt a burning sensation on my eyelids! It's been two days and it still hurts, I have to be so gentle when drying my face off. Please, if you do go here, try going to someone else. This place is a keeper! I finally found a good eye brow place! I've tried the mall and the eye brow place next to LA fitness, as well as European wax center. I never get consistent eyebrows! I have to agree with the more recent reviews about the service not being that great. When I first began to get my eyebrows done here about 4 years ago the service was great! The ladies were great. You could pick any of them and they would make your eyebrows look amazing. BUT NOW, the quality of service has dropped significantly. The last 2 times that I have gone to the studio I've had the same lady work on my eyebrows and both times she has left them looking almost as bushy as they were when I came in. The fist time that she worked on my eyebrows I asked her to clean it up a little more because I didn't like the way they looked and she argued with me. I told her how I wanted my eyebrows to look and she left them looking mismatched. One eyebrow was significantly cleaner looking than the other. As I was leaving, the lady that worked on my eyebrows and the other employee that was there began talking to each other in their own language and started laughing as I was walking out. I felt that was extremely rude which is why I didn't go back for almost 2 months. The second and last time that I went back it was the same two ladies and the same thing happened. I told her that I just wanted my eyebrows cleaned up and she still left them looking bushy which is not how I wanted them. I would not recommend this place if you want your eyebrows to look nice. read more

Custom service was horrible‼ My daughter and I have been going to this place for about 3 and a half years and normally we have a pleasant experience. Due to COVID-19 we haven't gone for about a year and the personnel and experience is not the same. The lady aggressively grabbed both mine and my daughters chin while threading and we were in and out literally in like 5 min. Not sure if that is a new threading tactic but it was not cool at all. For only 6.99 it was a good deal and they did a good job. I came in 30 minutes before they closed and they were nice. People who said dont come in 30 mins before they close doesnt know business. Love this place! They sincerely take their time making sure they lunch every micro unwanted hair. My favorite girl recently moved away, and while I adore her, everyone here is magnificent! The wait can be up to 30 to 45 mins on a busy weekend or Friday so i try to come during the week. They are all sweet talented ladies. Recently went to a different threading place, a kiosk in the mall, and was butchered. It really made me appreciate what I have with Kaya! Nice location. Was an hour wait. I patiently waited, then when my turn came the girl didn't know how to pronounce my name? Or didn't know how to read it? (My name is Diana I didn't think it was that hard.) It looks like monday has slow business, and Ashta is off on Mondays. My cousin and I are from out of state but we were in the area and read that Ashta was the best at this store. So we come back today, early Tuesday morning (9AM) and already there were customers. Ashta was quick and painless with the eyebrows. The only thing is my cousin wanted it to be reshaped and kept straight instead of following its natural shape. Ashta didn't do so at first so my cousin said it again. In the end it looked better but Ashta was still trying to keep the natural shape so my cousin was still a tad bit upset. I, on the other hand, had the person before mess up my brows. It's not even, my right brow is a lot more higher than my left brow. So I asked if Ashta can fix it since I grew it out and all and she said she can. She seemed either careless or confident enough to just say yes and act like she didn't care. In the end, my brows don't look messy but it's still uneven. The shapes aren't even the same, and one look you will laugh at the different level of the I will definitely not be coming back here when visiting California. This was my first threading experience and I have to say I'm a convert! I'm always hesitant to go to someone new for my brows because well, that is a lot of trust to put in a stranger. You could spend months regretting that one chance encounter if something goes wrong. I have a few friends who swear by threading but they go to a place downtown that is just not realistic for me so I spent some time yelping and decided to take the plunge. The inside is nothing special or exciting. It is a wall of chairs and on Saturday two girls threading at an amazing speed. It seems they maintain a long wait but that is probably a good sign. You can put your name on the waiting list and come back. Frozen yogurt is next door, so turn the event into a treat yo self moment instead of staring at people getting de furred. It hurt less than I expected but it isn't completely pain free, what hair removal service is? They have cash prices and card prices so bring your cash because $7 is a pretty good trade off for getting to say cool things like "on fleek" for two to three weeks. read more

These ladies are amazing! There are typically two ladies working whenever I stop in and often there is no wait for the services. The few times I've had to wait it was never longer than 20 minutes (and that was when there was only 1 of the ladies working). I will say that I do have a preference regarding which one does the threading as one seems to be better with actually creating even arches on both of my eyebrows. And still, both do a great job! The location has plenty of parking, the studio is clean and has plenty of chairs for both waiting and getting the threading. The price is unbeatable (if you have cash) and you have the option of getting each visit stamped and after 10 visits, the 11th one is free! read more

This place is brand new and kind of tucked away behind Subway and GameStop. I happened to see it while my husband was in GameStop and thought I would pop in since my eyebrows were terribly out of shape, and I'm so glad I did! Love this place! So I won't lie to you, threading hurts like a bi@!h but I love the result. Worth the pain. There is currently one girl working here constantly and she's fabulous! She is from Nepal which is where she learned the skill. She does a great job and has you take a look in the mirror after she's done to check for any missed spots for yourself. Eye brow threading is only $6! The place is small but very clean and cute decor. They also give u a card to stamp and after 11th punch you get a free brow threading.
