We did not have to carry our boards to the beach which was really nice. They also had locker rentals for only $5 which helped. Paddleboarding on the bay was perfect, it's a more protected cove so the water is not too choppy. Parking in this area is not easy, allow plenty of time! Another tip to the business would be to have a printout or something to guide people to the location of the paddleboards on the beach, in case members of the party get separated. The majority of our party was led to the beach by our guide, so overall it wasn't a problem. Would recommend this place!

The business is set up on the beach which would be convenient if you wanted to paddle board in the ocean. Paddle boarding in Mission Bay was also an option and is the one we chose as it was our first time paddle boarding and we wanted to try it in calm water. We paid the staff and they directed us to a house several blocks away on the way to Mission Bay to pick up our boards. We walked to the house and we were told to take a board and carry it to the bay. Each board was so heavy that my friend and I had to stop and put down the boards about every 3 houses until we walked to the bay (about half-mile away). We had a good time when in the water but had to leave our things on the beach (luckily nothing got stolen). After paddling, we walked the half mile back to the house (stopping every 3 houses) and dropped off the boards. It would have been nice if they had someone drive the boards to the bay and meet us there or if they had lighter boards. Also, would've appreciated a locker to store clothes/ phone in. They supply the boards, but you're going to do all the work! Will not be using their services again.

We saw amazing marine life, including nudibranchs, lobsters, nurse sharks, and angel sharks. Coming from Monterey, the absolute highlight for me was seeing the massive, chill giant black sea bass, Wreckfish! They are 7 feet and 600 lb so big!!! Brian went above and beyond by taking me back out a second time when my initial photos didn't turn out well, I was a bit scared and too far. Thanks to his kindness, I got some great shots and swam close to them Truly an incredible experience --highly recommend diving with Brian! He is amazing!!!!

Thorough, sharp, and found us all the best animals. I would recommend coming into this dive with a little more experience than me (I'd only done 2 dives before this) if you want to fully take in all the animals. I struggled with trim and buoyancy bit in the surge and I'd love to do it all over again knowing what I know now. Either way, incredible experience and Zach is absolutely the man to do it with. We booked the tour knowing it was a bit overcast, choppy and the caves were likely closed but boy were we in for a treat. Nick was out guide and sadly the other couple with us were not able to join but that meant we had a private tour! On our way out we were treated to. Few dolphins. When we got to the caves the waves were just calm enough for a quick in and out. Then on our way back green sea turtle popped his head out of the water and swam under our boat! It was pretty incredible! Nick was an awesome guide! Super knowledgeable and dropped facts throughout the journey. We took my 7,10 and 13 year old sons and they all loved it. Not a bad pivot!!

I thought we would be paddling thru multiple caves but that was not the case. Jade let us get out of our kayaks and swim, and I ended up capsizing our kayak when getting back in. She stayed super calm and helped us both get back in. If she wasn't as calm, I would've freaked out more! But we didn't capsize going in and out of the waves, which is the most common place to capsize!

COVID-19: Open for rentals as of 10.21.20…read more Parking: Private lot. Even though there's a parking lot right outside the rental shop, we were asked to move to the dirt park across the street. My guess is that parking lot is reserved for other patrons of Mission Bay? We came on a Wednesday around 3 PM and did not make reservations. We did not have any issue getting a tandem hydro bike rental. It's $45 for a 90 minute rental, which isn't too bad. We found 90 minutes to be plenty of time. They sell water bottles for $1 and the bike has cup holders. It was our first time hydro biking. It's pretty sturdy and easy to get used to so instruction was super brief. I've been paddle boarding in Mission Bay before and I think it's a great place for these water sports. Water has been relatively calm both times. There are sea lions that hang out on the platform in the water. It was a fun day time activity, but I much prefer paddle boarding. This is still worth doing if looking for something new to try!

The instructor was amazing and very personable and patient. You can instantly tell he loves teaching, and that energy made the whole experience even more exciting for the kids. He broke things down in a way that made it fun and easy to understand, and by the end of the lesson, all three were up on the board and smiling from ear to ear. My youngest even caught a wave. If you're a parent looking for someone who knows how to connect with kids and make surfing an unforgettable experience, I'd highly recommend him. 10/10!

I for one just enjoy taking a nice walk from my house into a park and this one is right next to where I live. Its a nice smaller cozy park but if you have time then swing by to check out the place and read up on the history of the park. You will see a lot of eucalyptus trees there at the park. They have a really nice board with the history of the park and tells you the story of Cornelio Rodriguez. They have have parking here but its off road parking. But if you have a free day to hike and browse around i definitely think you should check out this place. Nature, clean air, historic place, sunny spring weather, makes a nice day out! Definitely check it out!
