I have been a patient of Dr. Alissa Kaye for a few years. My two daughters were delivered by her. She is amazing. I highly recommend her. With my first daughter, I was a patient at a different office and I began having negetive interactions with my former OB/GYN. This was a doctor I was seeing for over 10 years. I decided after I was already over 20 weeks pregnant, to switch doctors. It was the best decision I made! Dr. Alissa Kaye and Dr. Gary Kaye were amazing. They made my transition so seemless and comfortable. Everything went perfect. I had a natural birth. For my second pregnancy, again everything went wonderful. By this time, Dr. Gary Kaye was working less as he was heading into his retirement. Therefore, I saw Dr. Alissa Kaye mainly throughout my second pregnancy. For the birth of my second baby, I had a c-section because my daughter was in a breeched position. Although I was terribly nervous about having a c-section, Dr. Alissa Kaye made me feel at ease. She was very informative and answered all of my questions. I even called the office to speak to her because I was so nervous. She called me back and spent a lot of time making me feel comfortable. I can't say enough about how amazing she is as a doctor. I wish she could be our pediatrician. I wish she could be our PCP. I would go to her for everything if I could! Due to office scheduling / availability, my annual appointment was scheduled 1.5 months after my initial request. I completely understood that they were booked but requested my prescription be refilled in the meantime. The nurse, Erica, denied my prescription despite having an appointment booked. Very disheartening for an OBGYN to prefer me to go without my meds that I've taken for 10 years vs refilling them for the 1.5 months up until my appointment. Please do better next time :( read more

I've kept quiet about my opinions on this location for the last couple of years mostly because they are very convenient and somewhat friendly. However, there's just no excuse for the lack of regard for others. Every single time a call to make an appointment, the next appointment is about 5 or 6 months out, regardless of the sense of urgency that I as the patient feel Every time I call in with an issue or a concern, it's dismissed and not handled in the matter in which you would expect a medical professional to, Even when I tell them Ill just sit here and bleed to death the answer to that from reception was "okay then, give us a call if anything changes". I'm seriously looking into other Doctors altogether because of the lack of empathy this location has, I once requested to be switched from Stephanie to doctor Kaye for this same reason, I had concerns that were very easily dismissed and not regarded to in the matter of importance which I as a woman in her reproductive age, would have hoped. When I finally was able to see doctor Kaye the things were done in a very matter of fact fashioon, Where the most of my questions were left, unanswered and my concern simply dismissed. If you are someone that feels a need for constant care and assurance and hand holding this is not the location for you.If ypu want to feel like a name in a book, book your appointment now to be seen in eight months. read more

I debated whether to leave this review, but I've decided I'm going to because how I was treated was unacceptable. Dr. Alissa Kaye was my gynecologist when I was a teenager. I saw her all the way up until I aged out of my health insurance at 26. They don't take out of pocket payments and didn't accept my new insurance, so I found someone else. I eventually returned to my older insurance and wanted to pick up where I left off with Dr. Kaye because I was comfortable with her. I called and scheduled an appointment with the Doctor. She's booked out for MONTHS at a time and I knew that when I booked. A few days before my appointment I unexpectedly started my cycle due to stress, so I called to ask if Dr. Kaye would still be able to examine me. The person on the phone told me I had to reschedule. Fine, I do. Turns out whoever I spoke to never actually rescheduled my appointment. I hadn't received any appointment reminders, so I called to confirm and was told I had no appointment and that I was put down as a "no show" for the previous one. The woman on the phone was so condescending and sounded like she couldn't give two craps about what I was trying to explain to her. It was obvious they assumed I must've been the one to screw up, not one of their employees. I rescheduled my appointment, but eventually found another OBGYN who would see me sooner. I also decided I didn't feel comfortable going back to this practice. They didn't seem to care that I'd found another OBGYN. I'm sure Dr. Kaye is still her lovely self, but the people working the front desk are the most miserable, passive aggressive, condescending, dismissive pieces of work. It wasn't like this before her father retired, so I don't know what happened. They talk to patients like they're disposable and irrelevant. Dr. Kaye (Alissa's father) was my mother's OBGYN when SHE was a teen up until his retirement. He delivered my sibling and I, so it was incredibly disheartening to be treated like a piece of garbage at a practice I have so much history with. But they don't seem to care about any of that! Doctor was nice. However, I went for my free annual exam and was charged a copay. The workers had a million excuses for this..."you discussed an issue you had last year"...."you meant ion you might have a UTI" (and they didn't even take urine or order a test).... "You had a rash the doctor saw and gave you a script for a cream". Are you serious???? I called my insurance twice, and twice I was told that I am NOT to pay for an annual OB-GYN checkup. They REFUSE to do anything in this issue so I am going to all forums to alert potential consumers. read more

I got there a few minutes no more than 10 minute,behind schedule it was my first time visiting. I myself work with clients thus the reason for my delay , I had a last minute client that delayed my leaving work. Upon entering I was given the necessary forms to fill and at that point was told I had to download an app to get started. The paperwork was quick but the app took a longer process, an assistant at that moment informed me that I have 2 mins. to get this done or my appointment will be cancelled, she tried to assist me but to no avail. Low n behold there was a sign for me to scan which would have led me to signing in, I was not told that initially. By the time I did the scanning,it stated that my appointment has been canceled. I am upset because I did not feel valued , and my appointment after I waited for 5 months would be another 4 months from now. There was no apologies as in we will keep you posted if there a cancellation; Just plainly sorry we have to reschedule , another appointment. Poor customer service. read more

Here as a reminder to not ignore peoples reviews. The staff is very rude and not helpful at all. They keep you in the dark about appointments until you get to the office so that they can bill your insurance however they please. It is run so disastrously that there is always a wait. They never have availability for appointments (which is fine) but not having a cancellation list to help patients get a spot just goes to show that they do not try to accommodate their patients at all. And I can't stress enough how rude the staff is. It's like they have nothing better to do but sit there with their masks pulled down and tell patients "I don't know" as if it's a sufficient answer. There are way better managed facilities, that can provide great care. Not worth the headache read more

After 8 years of service and two babies the office staff turned my wife away because of being 3 minutes late. Apparently with an empty office they couldn't see her. Maybe because it was lunchtime. Taking time off of work and driving 30 minutes only to be turned away is the reason I write this on behalf of my wife. Take care, you lost a customer today 5/23/24. read more

I was going to ignore a review since I had such a terrible experience but after the amount of bills I received from the office it's best other expecting mothers do not deserve with the same. Be careful with the office and staff. You need to confirm where the results are going and get confirmation if they've been sent so you aren't surprised with bills. I got blood work done with no results and was billed months later. Called billing and after a week they could do not give you a copy of results as the bill remained. Not to mention they do not do everything in house and will send you running around for test. Once had to call because I was running late and I got the worst attitude from staff. After 2 unpleasant visits I had to run out. They aren't compassionate, send you off with a bag of info and if you have a question that's too bad your either answered with attitude or a dumbfounded remark as if you've been pregnant before read more

The staff is rude and disrespectful They do not have general office knowledge nor knowledge of HIPPA laws Can't even find a general office stamp required for documentation Texts should be sent out prior to appointment asking for Covid information along with instructions to call prior to entry Instead they have sign on door advising to call before entering Have to wait continuously outside till someone picks up , put on hold , I had windy conditions day I went I have now found another oBGYN , with mammograms done on premises which is a big convenience If you do go , keep away from Rebecca Funke , she is a disaster waiting to happen !!! I have been a patient of Dr Gary and Alissa Kaye for years. I love them both, my two boys were both delivered by each of them and the experience was great. One of my sons was premature only weighting 4pds and 11oncs they took great care of him and walked me through a tough process. Every time I call the staff is great pleasant and helpful.
