Kayla is a master at her work! I was interested in her lip blush since I have absolutely no pigment in my lips naturally. I was so excited to get this procedure done! Be prepared for a couple of hours, but beauty is pain and it's an art! I showed Kayla two of my day to day lippies ONCE and she absolutely nailed the color (a mauve-y pink). She was able to get the pigment on my lips just right and avoided all discoloration. I was pretty numbed up for the entire time, so no pain was felt. It's more uncomfortable not being able to talk but not much else! I will say my lips felt sore to the touch once the numbing wore off but it's not bad at all. The healing process does take about a week and Kayla provides extensive after care with medication and instructions. Follow her after care for the best results! You definitely will not regret it. If I forget to put on lipstick, it's not as big of a deal anymore. It's been a couple of months and my lips are still looking pigmented but I can't wait to get another touch up soon. I was always so skeptical about the thought of getting a lip blush because it seems painful...but Kayla completely changed my perspective on it! I got my lip blush done with Kayla about a year ago in January 2021 and I have to say it was the best decision EVER!!! The procedure itself was not painful because of the numbing creme and she makes sure you are comfortable throughout the procedure as well! I think it's her friendly and charming personality that makes you feel welcomed and relaxed throughout the session! Kayla was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I went to see her! I saw her for lip blush and have already gone for my touch-up. Kayla is great at communicating her expectations in terms of what she needed from me as a client, and what she can accomplish/ what the results would be. The appointment itself is not painless- so if you're expecting that- I just wanted to throw that out there. I would say the first 3/4 of the appointment is painless but towards the end there is some pain as the topical ointment starts to wear off. There is also some swelling and tenderness after the appointment. Mine lasted about 24 hours but it was less and less with each hour. At the end of the appointment Kayla gave me a mask that would stay off my lips and also gave me a little home care kit with 1000% came in handy! So thankful I went to see her! If you're debating whether you should get you lip blush done by her- I say do it! This is your sign! You're in safe hands! read more

I've been going to Kayla for my lip blush since October/November of 2020 & cannot rave enough about her lip blush services I was referred over by a friend who had her eyebrows done (back when Kayla used to do eyebrows too) and I was intrigued by the concept of adding color to my pale lips. While I know lipstick exists, I hate lipstick. It gets everywhere, dries up, crumbles, and always needs to be reapplied...but I loved the results. So when I saw Kayla was able to add color to my lips through a semi permanent way. I was pretty much sold with just that. I booked my Appt that next day and didn't look back. I had never felt so confident in someone's work and it's because Kayla KNOWS what she's doing and it was obvious through her client's results. I went to my first appointment with my favorite lipstick color in mind (think a neutral coral orange) & she was quick to recreate the color and made sure I loved it before we proceeded. While it wasn't a completely painless experience (I'm pretty sensitive and the numbing cream wore off super fast on me), Kayla was quick to do everything she could to help with any pain like giving me breaks or reapplying cream as often as possible, even if that meant a longer appointment. It was worth it. I truly fell in LOVE with my lips after they healed and had so many compliments from men about the "lipstick" I was wearing. She also included a free touch up since my inner lip didn't retain as much color as she liked and after the second touch up, my lips were pretty much perfect. I genuinely think I've referred over a good 4 or 5 people for her services and we ALL have been beyond satisfied with her services and have been coming back for more. Can't wait to get them touched up soon & hopefully get lip fillers next time but for now, if you've been looking to get lip blush done, THIS IS YOUR SIGN. Kayla is the best of the best! I had my lips done by Kayla almost a year ago and the color still looks amazing. She is very professional and takes great pride in her work from the lip mapping to taking the time to explain the process. Excellent communication and I love that Kayla is very up front about the process and doesn't make any unrealistic promises about how many sessions will be needed to achieve the desired result. Super happy with how my lip blush turned out! I've always had pale lips and it was pretty obvious in photos if I wasn't wearing any lip products. I usually don't like to use lipstick/lip gloss on a daily basis so getting my lips blushed seemed like a great option for me, and Kayla was the perfect person to go to! It looks super natural and gives me a boost of confidence when I look at my lips in the mirror! Kayla is great at explaining everything she will be doing during the process. She makes you feel extremely comfortable in her studio! The procedure was pretty painless overall but my lips did get a bit sore towards the end, which is expected as your lips will become more raw after many passes of the needle.
