Aubin Aphasia tacked on an unnecessary evaluation for an additional $300 charge during a swallow…read morestudy (for acid reflux) that was not ordered by my physician. Billing personnel at both my doctor's office and the radiology clinic agree that the evaluation was not part of the study they ordered. In this evaluation, Aubin (who is not a licensed physician) referred me to a third party clinic to have my esophagus dilated, and told me that if I didn't get the procedure, I would asphyxiate - die without oxygen. This was terrifying. I immediately consulted my doctor who told me that the procedure was completely unnecessary given my current condition. One year later - I am healthy / normal, and the only change was a natural supplement taken twice daily. The amount of stress from my experience with Aubin Aphasia can't be communicated enough here. Email exchanges were a complete waste of time. Their only concern is collecting the additional fee for the evaluation (all of which was billed exactly one year to the day after my visit).

He was seen by other therapists in the past with very little to show for it, but at Aubin Aphasia his communication skills, overall expressiveness, and ability to eat regular meals has dramatically improved, and keeps doing so from week to week. When he started therapy here, we were cautiously hopeful, and we have had our expectations repeatedly blown away with the progress he is making with their guidance and assistance.

Our son has been getting help from Jenni for more than two years now…read more Before finding Jenni, we tried several different speech therapists, but nothing really clicked. Our son would get bored easily, and the therapists didn't quite understand what he needed. But when we met Jenni, everything changed. Our son absolutely LOVES spending time with her - he literally thinks it's a fun playdate! He gets super excited on days when he gets to see her. Jenni's talent with kids is exceptional. Her play-based methods have been instrumental, as they allow therapy to unfold naturally without any sense of pressure. What truly sets Jenni apart is how knowledgeable she is about various aspects of physical and neurological development, leading to her holistic approach to therapy. She seamlessly incorporates activities that not only focus on speech but also enhance various cognitive functions and behavior growth. For instance, she cleverly integrates activities that boost his memory and simultaneously reinforce his ability to name pictures, or plays board games to teach him to take turns and regulate emotions while practicing speech. Since starting with Jenni, our son's vocabulary has expanded exponentially, and his pronunciation and ability to form sentences has remarkably improved. He now confidently communicates and is easily understood by family, friends, teachers, and peers at preschool. Even with all the improvement, we will continue sessions far into the future because she actively contributes to our son's overall development. What Jenni has done for our son is truly life changing, and we are forever thankful to her! We wholeheartedly recommend Jenni for anyone seeking exceptional support for their child's speech and overall development.

Over the time, we've seen significant improvement on my son's speech ability. Now he's able to communicate with his peers and us without any problems. This also helped him performing well academically in school. Jenni is also a very kind person to get along with. We had many pleasant conversations not related to the therapy too! We're so glad we've chosen Jenni as our therapist!

They treated her like a hopeless cause and just went through the motions. Then I stumble upon Atlas Aphasia and we met Bri. I have to tell you all, Bri has been a AMAZING. We have seen my mom go from barely saying much to speaking sentences within such a short period of time. Bri comes up with creative ideas and strategies to get my mom excited to speak again. She is also so encouraging , sweet and patient with my mother. My mom now looks forward to going to speech therapy where in the pass she was never excited. I can't recommend Bri enough. He has a long road to a full recovery and needs long term speech/reading therapy and does best in one-on-one sessions. Atlas was able to schedule 3 sessions per week and tailored the sessions to keep his interest and made them fun. His progress has been incredible and surpassed our expectations. We can't say enough good things about Atlas and plan to continue his therapy. I also love the fact it's a non-profit and geared to helping folks obtain therapy at a reasonable cost. We have done therapy in multiple locations and Atlas is definitely one of the best.
