Before he said he could begin he said he had to look at the electrical panel to make sure it was safe. He took the cover off and proceeded to tell me I need a new panel, had multiple problems. The panel is fine, but he did find 2 ground wires on the neutral which I thanked him for. I asked him if he would fix the simple problem with the fan control, said he didn't have the part. Universal parts are available for $29 on Amazon, he carried nothing on his truck. After I told him to put my cover back on my panel, he did, then gave me an estimate for $425. This company MAY be a good choice for large projects, but I would never call them for common problems. He was more intersted in selling me work on my panel or a new panel. When I said I would not go ahead with the work (grossly over priced) he then informed me of the $49.95 for the service call. Which I paid and then asked him to leave.

After Thursday nights storms we were left with half a home of electric working. The AC was not one…read moreof those things that was working. We had a local man come out to assess who said the job was just not doable for him at that point. He had too many other appointments scheduled and what we needed would take up more time than he had. So he recommended Red Royal. They came out that same day and told us what the problem was. Power from the pole died due to the line being old and it not being buried in a tube. Replacement needed. They were out the following day and started digging WITH SHOVELS. They almost finished the job but the part they needed to connect to the box was not available until Monday. Back early on Monday they got the power going. Inspectors came out (Dunedin) and approved the job. They came back out and buried the line and left it looking like brand new. I cannot give enough props to the two men that were out here. Professional and hard working + friendly. We recommend Red Royal to everyone. Cannot say enough positive things about them. ZERO negative things. Thank you Red Royal for getting our home back up and running as quickly as possible.

I had a small project of installing some ceiling fans and light fixtures. I called a few places, they came out and started calculating like this was a final grade math test. Seriously! Adding everything to their software, deleting, adding again, deleting again, and so on.. after about 20 minutes of trying to solve the equation, the total resulted in about triple the cost of all the fixtures I bought all together! Kyle from Rutledge electrical had a different way for pricing, he charges based on an hourly rate. After receiving those high quotes, I quickly calculated the approximate time it should take to install everything and multiplied by his hourly rate. I realized that it should end up about half the price I was quoted by others. It was even better!! Kyle arrived on time and got to work right away. He didn't waste any time, took no breaks, worked professionally and fast. When I saw how great it was going, I even added more work that I thought of doing on my own. Along with the extra work, and assembling, the bill ended up less than half of what the others quoted me. Everything is working great, I saved money, and supported a small business!
