Our family has a rule that any work over $500 requires a minimum of 3 quotes before deciding on the company to use, but we don't even bother with it anymore as far as our electrical work goes because Christian's work is not only above reproach, it's affordable. Making an appointment is quick and easy (thanks to Emily), he shows up on time, the work is always well done (even in the pouring rain), and I've never had an issue with anything he's ever fixed for me - even years later. In need of some electric upgrades, my husband called one company, left a message and waited 2 days for a return call. It never came. He called again giving them the benefit of grace. We waited two more days with not even a call back to say they were too busy to help us. So he decided to call 24/7. Emily returned Jim's call in a very timely manner. She was able to tell him how soon we could have Christian here and that a free estimate was not a problem. Not only did Christian show up on time, he was friendly, professional and thorough. He went out to his truck and wrote the estimate right away and even broke it down in portions as we were not certain we could do everything at one time. I would not recommend this company to anyone. No written quote and refuses to break a quote into parts and labor. They charged me an $85 diagnostic fee and gave me a quote of $650 to replace a 10$ breaker and replace 2 standard outlets with 2 gifs. Mind you, I had brand new gifs and covers just purchased from home depot for them to use.Then electrician called me using scare tactics to try to pressure me into doing repairs that were unneeded. He became confrontational when I told him we would not be going through with the repairs because I felt the quote was absurd. "thanks for wasting my time" he said...very professional when I just paid you an $85 diagnostic fee. This is the type of company that takes advantage of people every day. When I moved to the area in June 2017 Christian came and did a safety eval on my home and prepared a comprehensive report, including pictures, of ALL issues broken down by priority with costs for each phase of the work. He spent almost 2 hours inspecting and then explaining to me the why these issues needed to be addressed and how he would correct them. I called 14 months after the original estimate needing to have the work started and not only did both Christian and his wife, Emily, remember the "job" but also honored the original estimate. We had some electrical problems in your house Christrian from 24/7 electric came over. First thing he did was inspection of all the electric. He does great work. Clean up after he all done. 24/7 electric prices are reasonable. He knows slot about electric one thing he notice that are penal box was out dates and it was only 150amp service. He let us know that he should be up grade because we have a pool if we ever want get heater for pool we would need a 200amp service plus the sqrt of our house its over 2200 that 200amp be enough for size our house. Needed upgraded service for our new hot tub and outlets added to our garage. We were quoted a VERY fair price for all the work. The hot tub service was difficult as I was having a slab poured at the same time, Christian came out several times,once to lay the piping and came out after the concert was poured and finished the job without any extra fees. He also came back out to connect everything once the hot tub was delivered. He added lighting outside our garage,his suggestion and we love it!! Highly recommend 24/7, in fact we plan on calling them out next year to move some electrical around so we can add a bathroom to our back porch. We had problem with one of our hardwired smoke detectors. We had changed all of the backup batteries a few weeks earlier. In the evening one started to screech, every 15 minutes x 4. The noise was horrible, making the dogs and humans crazy. We called 24/7 the next day, spoke to Emily who called us back with an appointment. She clearly stated the visit charge . TJ was prompt, was very patient and was clear in his recommendation. The detectors were 10 yrs old. We opted to change them all, he quoted a fair price. Another electrician messed up my wiring when removing a generator sub-panel. I did not recognize it until he was long gone. 24/7 was at my house within 45 minutes of calling them. He figured out the wiring within 30 minutes. Most of his time was spent double checking my wiring including a new whole house generator installation. I was very pleased with the service and wish that there were more service people as friendly, timingly and accurate as he.
