The owner did not have a clue and never followed up. When we complained, the owner expected us to deal with and manage his worker. Awful. The tile job was awful. The owner had the tile guy "fix" the job, but it came out mediocre. The tile installer was unprofessional and hardly showed up and we simply had to get the job done so we accepted the final crappy job. The owner did not look at or review the job once. We learned that the installer never installed an underpayment under the flooring per the work order. He installed directly over linoleum. We have no idea how long the flooring will hold up snd the owner provided 0 guarantees. It was too late once we learned what happened. He's awful. Please stay away from this business. For the carpet install, we have no complaints with the installer. The owner installed a crappy underlayment pad. It was worse than our original pad. We are very disappointed. He gave us 0 choices. I only gave a 2 star rating because the carpet installer is very good and he happens to work for a crappy owner. I would stay away from this business.

The ceilings were not cleaned and still have lots of cobwebs. We paid $550 for a deep clean- the bedrooms were left with all beds unmade- windows and floors were not done. My poor mother in law trusted me to pick a good company and we were left to clean after paying a high price for cleaners. Others in the area quoted around $330!! I give two stars because they did a great job in the downstairs bathroom. That being said- that's the room they started in so I think the mojo was lost after that. They are not perfect but the owner Bill always makes things right if there is something you are not happy with. The only suggestion for new customers is to be very clear about whether you want matte or glossy floors at the beginning. The devil is in the details. I agree with other comments that they are good at matching adjacent floors and are willing to do both large (new install) or small (refinishing). I have only ever had hardwood installed so can't comment on any other materials.

He arrived promptly to give me the estimate, and I told him we would like to go ahead get the work done. First, he told me he would be here on Thursday and it would be a 1 day job. On Thursday, late in the morning, I called him and asked him where he was. He told me we had an appointment for Wednesday (the day before), but his other job ran late. I didn't ask him why, if that was true, he didn't call me on Wednesday and tell me he wasn't coming. Anyhow, at that point he told me he would be there on Friday (the next day). On Friday he called me and told me he couldn't make it because he "had to take his wife shopping and forgot about the plans they already made together". He told me he would come on the next Tuesday. So, on Tuesday he didn't show up. In late morning I called him and asked him where he was. He told me the forecast was calling for rain later in the day, so he could either come and do the inside stuff today (Tuesday), and finish the job on Friday, OR he could come on Friday get the job done or finish it on Saturday. I told him to come today and get started because he already postponed on us a few times and he has our deposit. He arrives later in the day and removes the old chimney liner. He dragged our wood stove onto our hardwood floor with a piece of plywood under it, by HIMSELF. So you can imagine the scratches on my nice wood floor. He leaves all the crap from my chimney in my garage and leaves a total mess! And says he will be back on Friday. On Friday I sit and wait for him. At 11:00 he is a no show so I call him and leave him a message. At 12:30 I call him again and finally get through to him. I ask him where he is and he tells me he needed to order a part and it should be here in 5 days or so. I compose myself and ask him politely and professionally why he didn't let me know that, because I had to take a day off of work to wait for him. His answer is "I don't know what to tell you, maybe you should just find someone else to do the work". So here I am, with a mess in my living room, a mess in my garage, a 600 lbs wood stove in the middle of my hardwood floor, and he still has my deposit. Not to mention he wasted 3+ weeks of my time so there is probably no possible way for me to get this thing repaired the right way this winter. It is quite an amusing story but almost nothing he is talking about is true. I honestly think he has confused me with another customer that he has screwed over. He doesn't even have my name correct. I will admit that my stove pipe and lining was in rough shape. But that is why I called him. Not too sure why this is such a surprise to him. I was the one who hired him so I don't understand where he thinks I was upset with my wife for her ordering the service. Again, he is obviously confusing me with another customer that is not happy with him. I was very professional and pleasant with him. I can understand reasonable delays but this guy would continue to schedule us and then not show up. I have a full time job, and so does my wife. If I take a day off (or several) to be home because he has scheduled us, and then he doesn't show up or call, that is an issue to me and I don't mind telling him that in a professional manor. HE was the one who was unprofessional and unreliable. He left a mess in my house, dirty pipes and crap in my garage (that he was supposed to dispose of), and major scratches in my hardwood floor. Chris just finished helping me do one of my toughest jobs, opening a hatch in our hardwood floor and removing 300sqft of rat poop find insulation, in preparation for a full home spray insulation project. His expertise and confidence are strong points, suggesting the right safety equipment, and proper disposal technique. I'm scared to admit that Chris's great job ethic and fair prices will keep him busier and busier, which means harder for me to book him! But he really is a hidden gem in this world of hard to reach contractors and I can't wait for our next project together.
