I have been having to pound money into this peace of junk car. They are absolute crooks. They made it seem like they were giving we a great price but after the about i have had to spend in repairs. I was looking for a used BMW. I had many places I was planning to go to. The morning I was about to go out, I searched again for BMW's and found KBB. I went there, unannounced, saw the car I saw on their website & asked if I could take it for a test drive. The guy said no problem!! Without an appointment!! I was shocked. The next thing I was test driving this BMW. It rode great, it looked great. I told the guy (Eric) I had a few other cars that I was going to look at and left. But I was thinking I got such a good vibe from Eric that I called him and said I was going to my bank to get a certified check and I'd be back that afternoon. BUYER BEWARE: Don't make the same mistakes I did Mistake #1: Trusting KBB Auto Sales was telling me the truth about the car and accepting the car As-Is Mistake #2: Trusting all the 5 star Google reviews for KBB Auto Sales and ignoring the 1 star reviews I can't stop crying. I don't know what I am going to do. This was my first time buying a car. I spent all the money I had on this car ($3000 including fees). When I bought the car, they told me the car was fine with no problems mechanically and that the only problem was rust on the body of the car. They even posted three small sections of the CarFax report showing the car was up to date and everything was okay. They were originally trying to have me pay about $3300 for everything but I negotiated it down to $3000 because of the damage to the body. The sold me the car As-Is, which should have been the first red flag since if everything with the car was fine why would they be afraid of me returning it? Not even 24 hours later the check engine light turns on. I take it to my mechanic and he tells me to buy a new car because the one KBB Auto Sales sold me would cost $10,000 in repairs and it wasn't worth fixing (pictures below of car and repair costs). I essentially bought a rolling death trap that could give out at any moment because the whole system is leaking and rotting. Many of these issues were not listed on the CarFax either. So I call KBB Auto Sales for an explanation and they tell me my mechanic lying and is just trying to get money out of me. This is untrue because my mechanic didn't even want me to repair the car and didn't charge me the $200 it was supposed to cost for him to inspect it because he felt sorry for me that I bought this car in the first place. He even rotated the tires for me for free because the tires were so run down. When I sent KBB Auto Sales photos of the underside of the car and ask them if they knew the car looked like this when they sold it to me, their tune change from 'your mechanic is trying to scam you' to 'what do you expect? It's a 20 year old car. it's your fault for not having the car inspected before you bought it.' This brings me to mistake #1: trusting KBB Auto Sales to be truthful about the car they were selling. They were right. I should have had the car inspected. I assumed they were honest people but I was wrong. That was my mistake. Still, I continue to ask why they lied to me and sold me a car they knew was rotted. Then they say there is no problem since 'the car drives fine, doesn't it??' as if that changes the fact there are multiple leaks and parts that are about to give out that would send me swerving into my death. When I didn't give in, they start repeating 'it's a 20 year old car. it's a 20 year old car. Do you know what 20 years old means?' like I am stupid. It's funny when they were selling me this 20 year old car there were "no problems" but when I want to return the 20 year old car it's "what do you expect?? of course there's problems. you should have known." Anyway, these weren't just minor issues like KBB Auto Sales was trying to make them out to be, these were major repairs that needed to be done. So I kept asking them to look at the pictures I sent them of the underside of the car because they were either unaware of the damages or were just playing dumb. So after many attempts of trying to get them to look at the pictures, they do an uno reverse and try to say I'm insulting them and calling them "an idiot" because lord knows why (after they implied I was stupid for 'not knowing what 20 years old means'). I couldn't take the back and forth yelling so I just hung up after that. So now I'm just crying at home writing this review, wondering what I am going to do. After this, I will probably contact the Attorney General to see if they can help me out. Now for mistake #2: ignoring the 1 star google reviews. KBB Auto Sales is going to reply to this saying that I'm lying just like they did with everyone else. Don't fall for it. Please. For your own sake. Good luck with your car search. read more

SOLD ME A CAR FROM 2015 THAT NEEDS A WHOLE NEW ENGINE. Only 79k miles on it. No wonder why they kept pushing me to buy the extended warranty. Sooo long story short.... I test drove the car.. it had an engine tick and was stalling out. Brought to autozone, a code came up which they fixed immediately. They brought it to the shop and replaced a solenoid that was causing it to stall. The engine tick was gone. I pay for the car by check.... Wait 3-4 days for check to clear.... I go to pick up the car. Engine tick was BACK. Too late for a refund, too late to cancel the purchase. I drive it home. Check the oil level.. it was OVERFILLED so I had to take some out. The mechanic they brought it to must have tried covering up the engine tick. I had asked them NUMEROUS TIMES to have their mechanic check out the engine tick again. They respond with "ohhh my car has an engine tick too.. it's common. Oh it must be the temp change in the vehicle. Oh it just happens...." Now I see why they came up with every excuse in the book. I NOW TAKE MY CAR TO THE ACTUAL BRAND DEALERSHIP SERVICE CENTER and they tell me I will need a whole new fucking engine!!!!! The noise is internal and to even get into the engine, they need to take off the oil drip pan and something else.. Which then can't even be put back on the engine so it will need a new engine if they did that .. So regardless... my NEWER car is now in need of an engine. Don't trust this place or the mechanics they use. Oh and to top it off... the car had 4 recalls that wasn't on the carfax they showed me when first looking at the car. Photoshop can be a wonderful thing. Yeah they may have offered me a "refund" in the beginning of all this mess... with a 20% restocking fee and I wouldn't have gotten the sales tax, etc back... which means after spending almost 11k, I would be only getting a little over $7k back. What a fun time this has been dealing with David at KBB AUTO!!!!!!! Who is hardly ever there btw.. which makes me deal with Eric, his employee. Who has been nice but always says CANT DO ANYTHING, IM NOT DAVID. Blah blah. I waited DAYS to talk to David but he was so conveniently really sick when this all first happened.
