For something so standard, it was passable but not likely to order again. Our favorite dishes were 1) the duck and 2) potato and vegetable patties. Duck was crispy, hot, and had pretty good flavor! The vegetable patties were also crispy and balanced, slightly sweet. The beer list was limited but we liked what we ordered. Hate to be a broken record but we've had better while in the city. Wouldn't recommend this place to a friend since it was just average.

I loved the beer cheese with fresh pretzels as it paired perfectly with their craft beers. Their beer list rotates seasonally, but they have a decent range of beer types for everyone to enjoy. There was a restaurant to the right and also brewery to the right. We made the left turn and noticed two huge copper kettle welcoming. The lady told us to sit at the two seater desk right next to a person coughing real bad and that really made us comfortable. Ordered DIPA. Soup and salad. Pilsner arrived first by mistake which I didn't touch. Turned out to be for the guy coughing real bad. Soon, mine arrived. It was one of the best tasting DIPA. I had to compliment the bartender. Apparently, this one is brewed here also. Very nice ambience especially with two copper kettles at the front. Monks stopped brewing beers for awhile. No ales.

The story is interesting, but there are almost no artifacts presented. Many of the videos are a projection of a person, whose lips presumably are synced with the Czech soundtrack but is a distracting overdub in English when they've chosen to make the person the center of your attention. A self-guided tour without seeing the production facility can still be good, I think Guinness shows that. But what they do well is give you a sense of being in the place and telling the story in a dynamic way nonetheless. Certainly, for what it is, the price is a bit high. And seeing the reviews here from a few years ago, it has gone up, now 199CZK for tour with 1 beer, 269CZK with a flight of 4.
