The restaurant is featured in the Michelin guide and features a chef's counter. The restaurant is a good 10 minute walk from the metro. There is a bus/tram stop in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is located in a quiet neighborhood and was slightly hard to find. Started off with the homemade bread with butter. I found the bread dry and lackluster. It was interesting that the waiter claimed that the bread made in house daily when I saw one of the cooks cut up prepackaged store-bought bread... Opted for the tripes as a starter per the recommendation from the waiter. I was slightly surprised that such a dish could appear in a fancy restaurant. The waiter reassured me that this was a popular Czech dish. The tripes were fine although I found the dish a touch lacking with a ton of thousand island squirted on the dish? I did find the dish a touch salty ... as with most dishes in Prague. ..maybe it's cultural Moved on to the smoked pork tongue as the main. It was my first time having pork tongue and this tasted more like a sausage. I'm not sure what was with the saltier cream sauce that complemented this dish as it looked fine but the flavors were again on the saltier side... The dumpling I found to be quite dry and boring. Ended off the meal with the panna cotta which may have been the highlight of the meal. The panna cotta was light and served with a couple versions of pear. The ice cream with rum was tasty too.

When we arrived, only a few outdoor tables were taken, but was told the rest were reserved, so we were seated indoors instead. When we finished our dinner, the same few outdoor tables were occupied. They were very helpful and accommodating from the start.They offered to prepare a special menu just for us to ensure nobody waits for food too long. In the end, 40 of us turned up.
