The Best Handyman in Montgomery, Texas !…read more We recently bought an outdoor kitchen. According to the vendor the installation should have been seamless. We hired someone to install it. The person assembled it; however, was unable to make it work. We spoke with the vendor and discovered that the correct steps were not followed. We hired a couple of additional handymen and they failed to make it operational. Then, I found Jason on yelp. I explained the situation and he immediately identified the issue. He stopped by my house the following work day. In a matter of minutes, he resolved the issue that three handymen prior could not solve. Additionally, Jason set up a fire table, hung multiple pictures, a mirror and shelves. Jason is quick, thinks outside the box, and his rates are reasonable. I highly recommend Jason

I texted him in September as I had several things lined up that needed installed and repaired. It was a few days before he responded but he did and explained that he had been working on a big project. He came out on 9/20 to do the work. One of the projects was to remove a light fixture and install two mini pendant lights. These are two separate fixtures with chain links from the ceiling to the actual light encasing. This was the last project of the day and he did a great job of changing out my old light to this updated look. With one exception. He called me in to look at them and I noticed one was hanging shorter than the other. When I mentioned it he said "No, it's correct." I didn't want to be rude and go get a tape measure to ensure that it was correct (I will in the future). After he left I measured and it was 1/4" shorter. To some this might not seem like much but it is noticeable. When he was leaving he commented that my house could use quite a bit of work (he was tactful) and I agreed. I could tell he was soft selling me for future larger projects. That was fine as I would like to hire a small business to do the work when I'm ready. We discussed a few more projects for his next visit and he left. Fast forward to 10/19. I sent a text that the needed to fix the light and why. He responded and asked if the light fell. I reiterated that the light on the right was shorter. It's now 11/14. I have yet to hear back from him. I'm in sales, if I did something incorrectly I own it and do the best I can to fix the problem. Especially if I want future work and bigger projects. When you fail to even respond it is highly unprofessional. I will have to pay a different handyman to fix the issue now.

We did some minor investigation and knew we needed extra help since the leak had rotted out inside the walls, even the wood beams supporting the house! Here's where Dang Handy Remodeling came in. He spent time giving us a thorough inspection and our estimate was in line (and more detailed) than other estimates we had gotten. It was the professionalism that had us choosing him. I swear he responded to every question I had in like 5mins and had no problems answering even my dumbest questions before I signed the contract. He took his own time (multiple times) to take me to Floor and Decor/Home Depot/Lowes to help me choose and transport all the materials I needed. Literally this guy was like our own interior designer and could envision whether a tile would work for our vision before we even knew what our vision was. Obviously you guys can see that our black and white look worked out in the end perfectly. Also, he helped us pick out tiles and materials that would work IN OUR BUDGET. Yall wouldn't believe how expensive some tiles can get. And he even helped me go return leftover tiles at the end to get back some money. He knows this grad student needed every extra cent lol. For the actual work, he pays attention to detail. For example like cutting tiles and leveling them EXACTLY, not even 1 degree OFF even if we couldn't tell. He even put in extra time for things we didn't anticipate (like getting and installing extra parts because the sink valve I chose didn't line up with or reach the piping of the house.) 100/10 recommend Vu Bui at Dang Handy Remodeling if yall need any job done, big or small.
