When I tried to make an appointment it would have been 3 weeks before he had time available. I told them all I needed was to renew my prescriptions. So they told me Alison the PA could help me with that. At least she was able to see me within 5 days. And it didn't start well with her but it ended well. First of all, the chart that she reviewed before seeing me wasn't mine but she corrected it. Second, with the new Memorial Care system, some of my information was missing so I had to let her know how much MG some of my medication was...annoying. What I like about Alison was she was very thorough. She had requested all my lab test and one blood test that was the latest in testing for cancer. Today, I got my results back from Quest (which took 2 weeks), let's see if they follow up on my results. I guess no news is good news. If no one follows up I will definitely switch providers. In the meantime, I'll go on Quest website and see if I can figure it out.

They make you start over as a new patient. 30 years of history gone. Long wait times in the waiting room when no other patients are in the building. I was there over an hour and saw a doctor for less than two minutes - not my own. My own doctor had one appointment all morning, which was a physical, but was too busy to see me with a 102 degree fever until 3 days later. Beware.

Turn right INTO the first driveway you see which has a banner that says "HURTT FAMILY HEALTH CLINIC ------". Pull into that driveway and park, go up to the gate and press the button and someone will buzz you in. Walk straight ahead, towards the middle go all the way down the hallway and make a right and you are there. Michelle and Martha the medical assistants are always helpful and polite. The office has a lot of chairs and it's nice and clean. There's also a padded play section in the corner with some books, toys and things for the little littles. Rafael the RDH (registered dental hygienist) does such and amazing job at deep cleanings and perio-maintenance. He is super thorough and explaines everything he is doing and lets you know what else has to be done to maintain a healthy smile. Rocio my dental technician was super nice she took my blood pressure (which is always higher than normal when I have appts anywhere especially at the dentist office.) I was getting fitted for some implants and she needed to do some initial impressions (molds) which she did a great job at letting me know which impression would work or not. She was very gentle and let me know exactly what she was going to do before it happened. She made me feel less anxious through the whole process. And they give you orange stuff on a little pad thing to clean off the excess plaster off yourself. In my case i used it to clean off the area around my mouth but hahahahahah that stuff was allllllllll over my face! YIKES!!!! I have to go back for some more fittings and things but so far so good.

Dr. Wang and his office staff made me feel very welcome, comfortable, and relaxed from the moment I arrived. What pleased me most is that Dr. Wang is also a cardiologist, which is a tremendous bonus for me. He took the time to thoroughly review my medications and provided highly professional, patient, and detailed guidance regarding my heart condition, including treatment, recovery, diet, and exercise. He also carefully addressed several other health concerns I brought up, explaining preventive measures and treatment options in a clear and thoughtful manner. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. I can only say that I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Wang. I highly recommend Dr. Wang, especially for Chinese-speaking patients seeking a knowledgeable, caring, and professional physician.

I found this extremely disappointing. Patients seeking urgent care should not be placed in a situation where they are asked to delay treatment or pay out of pocket while insurance verification is postponed. I will also be submitting a complaint regarding this experience to Medi-Cal for review.

One of my favorite details is the wall of photos of Dr. Tran-Kim with babies she has delivered, arranged into a heart. I was told they update the photos and change the display into a Christmas tree during the holidays, which I thought was such a cute and personal touch. Dr. Tran-Kim, the founder and primary physician, is incredible. She talks about wanting her patients to be "healthy inside and feel beautiful outside," and I think that really comes through in the practice. I've never felt rushed during my visits. She takes the time to answer questions, explain treatment options, and make sure you actually understand your care. Something I really appreciate about Dr. Tran-Kim is that even though she owns and runs the clinic, she is still actively practicing as an OB/GYN. She continues to deliver her own patients and perform surgeries. I really like that because there's something reassuring about having an OB/GYN who follows through with your care. If I were pregnant, I would personally love knowing that the doctor I built a relationship with would also be the one caring for me during delivery, rather than having to wonder who might ultimately be on call. I personally like that they offer aesthetic and wellness options alongside traditional women's health care. I know that may not be for everyone, but if I ever decided to have an aesthetic treatment, I would much rather have it done through a health practice where I can actually see the doctor and have the treatment backed by medical knowledge and oversight. I appreciate being able to hear directly from a physician about treatments and what they recommend rather than going somewhere that is strictly focused on cosmetics. I've noticed there's really something here for women at different stages of life, whether you're coming in for routine gynecologic care, pregnancy, postpartum care, or are interested in some of the wellness or aesthetic options.
