Now it took a lot to explain what I needed to these guys, and they didn't seem to believe I needed a floppy to load drivers for windows, but sometimes you do. You can google it if you don't believe me. Curse me for a novice, I needed the files on said floppy to be extracted first. I return to the store with the very same floppy, the one they loaded files on for me just a half an hour ago. Now they tell me the floppy doesn't work. I feel they were scamming me to get me to bring my computer in, and telling me the floppy died. The floppy worked just fine before. Now floppys are old and hinky tech, and that's why they are mostly gone. They usually didn't belly up after one use.
