I recently moved and needed to find someone to paint my apartment right away. I reached out to ProPaint Jobs but they were booked until the end of the month. So I checked out a few other painters on Yelp. Another painter came by my apartment and offered me a quote but I never heard back from him after that. Oh well, his lost. I didn't feel that he would be that invested in the job anyway. So I contacted Kris again and he gave me his availability for a week out. I was so happy he was able to accommodate me in such quick time. I also did not have to leave work early so that Kris could give me an estimate. He told me he would need about 15 minutes of my time over the phone and he asked detailed questions about the apartment. His quote came in lower than the other guy because he included the paint and he buys everything for you. The other painter said I would have to pick the paint up myself. He even told me it would take 4-5 days to paint the 2 bedroom apartment vs. the day and a half from Kris. I was very happy with the work that Kris and his team did. It was a holiday weekend and they showed up early and ready to work. Honestly, the hardest part in the process was picking the Benjamin Moore paint colors. Kris will guide you but he wants you to decide and be happy with your own color selections. The paint job is very neat, no messy drips or paint outside of the lines. Kris is a professional, a nice guy and he did a few extras for free including the inside of the closets and my bathroom ceiling. Kris stayed on to clean up and put everything back in place. I am so happy that the place is painted so that I can finish getting settled from the move, the place looks so different from when we moved in, it's amazing what paint can do! The wonderful job done by Chris and his assistant has compelled me to write my very first Yelp review. I contacted Chris at very short notice because I needed to have my apartment painted before I moved in. He knew I was in a pinch and could have charged me extra for the short notice AND for the fact that the job needed to be done on the weekend after Thanksgiving. I'm most impressed by the fact that Chris did not charge me extra and instead worked with my budget which was slightly less that the price he had quoted for the job. His very reasonable rate also included premium paint in the color I chose. Chris provided excellent customer service by responding to my text messages and questions promptly. This made the whole experience stress free. I was also impressed by his amazing work ethic. On the day of the job, Chris and his assistant showed up promptly at the appointed time and worked all day without taking a lunch break so that everything would be completed in one day. When you watch Chris at work, it becomes obvious that painting is his passion. He is detail oriented and works very hard to make sure that his customers are happy .After the apartment was painted, he insisted on a walk through and refused to take my money until he was sure that I was totally satisfied with the job. Kris and the team he brought to paint our new apartment were all incredible. Kris was communicative and walked me through all the questions to get an accurate quote ahead of time, so there weren't any surprises when it came time to pay the bill. When something about my request changed, Kris addressed it and ensured we got our perfect paint job within the time frame we needed. He and his team worked even faster than anticipated, and I had no concerns whatsoever leaving our apartment in their hands. They managed to paint around annoying angles, to remove hardware and paint in hidden spots, and to get incredibly clean lines around all our trim and accent walls, even with all the dark and quirky colors we wanted. We only had them do the walls, not the trim or ceiling, but Kris also was willing to patch some holes in the ceiling for us as well--totally wonderful of him! They left the apartment clean after they were gone, too. I wanted my apt painted in August when ProPaint was fully booked so we scheduled a date and I told Kris to give me a call and move up my date whenever he could. He remembered and called me up as soon as he had availability and also honored the quote he gave me even though the work turned out to require more coats of paint than expected. When ProPaint showed up to paint, they worked without breaks at a fast pace with minimal disruption to my daily life despite asking them to paint nearly all the rooms in my 3 BR apt. They were down a person when they came over to paint and stopped only when they ran out of paint, so the job wasn't quite finished. Knowing how booked up he was I was a bit concerned that they were not going to come back to finish the last touches but Kris came back that Sat and only charged me for the extra paint instead of charging me for an extra visit. We hired Kris and the team in early January for a paint refresh of our new 2-bed, 2-bath apartment. We wanted it done as quickly as possible so we could get on with unpacking and enjoying our new home. Kris did everything he could to help us get the job done quickly, including sorting out the insurance requirements and submitting to our building management within 24hrs of the request. Our building does not let contractors enter prior to 9am, but Kris turned up at 6am to check with the concierge and super that everything was ready to go, keys were available, etc. and to ensure there would be no delays for us. The team got the job done within their original time and cost estimate and the work was very high quality. Their prices were competitive too. Stellar service! I was hesitant to get my apt. painted because my plaster walls are old and don't have the smoothest texture. I didn't think anyone could paint it and make it look nice. Luckily, they proved me wrong. I knew the exact color and brand of paint I wanted. All I had to do was tell them and they got the paint for me. It made the process so much less stressful. I've lived in my apt for years so they had to work around all my furniture which was no problem. I was only having the bedroom and living room painted, but they were kind enough to paint my small entryway at no extra charge just so it could look as fresh as the other rooms. Lastly, they were incredibly courteous and professional. I'm a woman who lives alone and I never felt weird or uncomfortable having them in my place. I have never written a review before but I believe this company merits one for their outstanding work. Their work etiquette was strictly professional from beginning to end. Kris explained how he would do his job and indeed it all panned out how he said. There were no surprises which is rare when dealing with contractors. They arrived on time and finished at the time that was discussed. The job was wonderfully done and they even put back all my furniture the way it was. Absolutely no mess left behind! Their prices were extremely fair. I would even go as far as saying they were shockingly low considering all the work they did and how great it all came out! Amazing painting experience with Pro Paint Jobs! I would absolutely hire them again and am happy to provide an excellent recommendation to anyone. Kris was awesome : thoroughly talked through my job expectations, asked about previous paint colors, chips, cracks, and had a nice review of the job expectations with a little contract on location. He purchased the paint colors I selected and only charged for the paint at cost and left me with the extra supply that wasn't used. He and 2 coworkers showed up 10 minutes early and finished painting 4 rooms (with trim, baseboards, doors) in 4 hours. When they arrived, they walked in and got straight to work. Their team even patched up a couple cracks that expanded after cleaning them up at NO ADDITIONAL cost! Speaking of cots, the rate we agreed to was incredibly reasonable! These guys are great. KD Cares saved the day!!! I bought a condo that was supposed to be completely repainted prior to me moving in, but instead they only painted over some of the scratches & marks on the walls in a color that was too light for the rest of the walls so it was splotchy and unsightly. It looked worse than when I toured the place! I only saw that they didn't do a real paint job the night before closing & had very little time to find a painter to paint the whole interior before my move. Khris and the guys just finished two rooms in our apartment and it looks like a new place. Considering what they had to work with they did a phenomenal job. Walls, window sills, and challenging oil based doors. We couldn't be happier. Khris was easily accessible, and kept in communication on the job prior and throughout. We were able to get quoted over the phone and by sending detailed images of our worn in rooms. Our place has very large windows and ceilings as well. They came in at 8am and were finishing by 12:45 pm at best. Their work was clean and efficient. No mess and painters residue left behind which can often be a pain. Very fair pricing and they go above and beyond. We plan on using them again in the spring to finish off our revamping of the place. If your looking for professional painting services THIS is it. Kris from ProPaint is the absolute best. He and his guys did an amazing job painting the full interior of apartment - including some extensive cabinetry. The place was transformed for staging - and we got multiple offers the first week on the market, which I definitely attribute to how fresh, clean and airy Kris made the place look. What I appreciated even more - Kris is a really good guy, who made me and my family feel at ease during a very stressful moving prep - we relocated across the country and out of our apartment of 10 years. Kris is awesome and so are his guys! I saw his truck in my neighborhood and called on a whim to paint two bedrooms. He was instantly responsive and could not have been more helfpul, charming or direct. He explained everything to me over phone (and via text), asked really specific questions, brought all of the paint and supplies, was flexible regarding my timing. I thought his pricing was more than fair and he made the whole process easy - which was exactly what I was looking for. His crew finished painting the two rooms in less than a day (I think 6 hours to be exact!!!!) and they even moved furniture, helped roll-up my rug and generally left both rooms in better shape than they found them. These guys are AMAZING! Not only did the show up early & ready to work, they are very industrious and got to it immediately. The paint job they did is impeccable. I had them do my gallery (entry), kitchen, dinning & living rooms - they accommodated every request I had and the colors so beautiful. They are very polite, professional & personable. Kris, Chris, Danny & Nick also loved my little dog, Ryely - who was happy for the extra attention. Great guys with a can do attitude & skills to boot! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. He explained everything to us over phone and email about paint options for walls and for doors/frames, and the estimate that he provided was exactly what we paid. Kris and his crew finished painting our three bedroom condo in two days, and we appreciated that he asked us to call him if anything looked off to us, even if it was a week later. After finishing, he walked me through each room of the apartment for inspection. Prices are reasonable for the amount of work needed to be done (slightly cheaper than other companies we contacted) and he included the paint, supplies, and cleanup within the price estimate given. Plus, we were packing up our home in Washington, DC - so we trusted him to do the job while we were not in town. And he absolutely delivered. I needed a two bedroom rental unit painted immediately and thankfully I found Kris at ProPaintJobs. You will not find a nicer, more articulate and detail oriented contractor. With very little notice, he went to work over a weekend, and did an oustanding job. The apartment walls didn't look this good when they were brand new. I didn't ask him to paint the ceilings, but he repaired imperfections in the ceiling as well. Kris finished ahead of schedule, and when I wasn't able to meet him at the property to provide payment, he graciously met me in another part of Brooklyn more convenient to me. Kris and his team were great! Not only did he give our newly purchased pre war coop new life, but he and his team paid attention to the little things. They didn't just come in and paint, they took pride in the job they were doing. They repaired any small holes, evened out surfaces, even made our window sills, which appeared to be rotted, look great. They also took the extra time to clean up and paint our old radiators. The price quoted was fair, included the paint (which they pick up) and never changed. They estimated it to be a 2 day job, they did it in a day and a half. These guys are just great. I hired them in late June to paint a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. It involved a bunch of different colors, and lots of doors and trim. The price Kris quoted was lower than all other quotes I got, and I'm pretty sure none of the others would've done as speedy, clean, and good a job as Kris and his team did. What's more, the price quoted was the price charged -- nothing more (even though the job involved a couple more doors than Kris had envisioned from the pictures I sent). I've been living in the new place for a few weeks and haven't seen a single spot that was missed or messed up. Kris also had some good tips on paint selection that I'm glad I followed.
