I have bought two cars at kdk. Both have been very good deals and they both were exactly as presented. One car I sold two years later for the exact price I paid with 35 thousand more miles. Buying a convertible on the last day of the month in a snow storm was a great opportunity for us! It is a wholesale car dealer. They are not a servicing dealer. They are honest and present the cars for what they are. If you are not car savvy pAy someone to inspect it...that is good advice for buying any used car from ANY dealer or private owner. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! If I could give zero stars I would. This place is trash. When I bought my BMW I was sold a warranty that could be utilized at any BMW dealership. So a week after purchasing the car a rattling began to happen. After several calls to KDK they finally "fit us in" to "fix" it. That was a joke. The rattling began again shortly after. We decided to use our warranty and take the car to a REAL dealership. The BMW dealership let us know that there is no such warranty. We were sold a bs lie of a warranty and out 4K. On top of that. The BMW dealership showed us everything that was wrong and "rigged" on the car. Almost 5k worth of work needed. We brought it to KDKs attention as this is unacceptable and they said "call back in 2 weeks were all booked". Of course you're booked. You're selling trash cars to people..... Do not buy here do not go here. I took a friend of mine here to purchase a vehicle on May 2nd, 2017. We left the lot got home and the check engine light was on, This was the first day. Took it to the Mitsubishi dealer. had it checked out. Found out there was an active recall on the vehicle. It was leaking power steering fluid, Coolant, and the Catalytic converter was bad it also needed the timing belt and water pump replaced . I advised my friend to return this vehicle to them immediately and get his money back because these repairs were going to cost him well over $1900.00. He chose to contact KDK who told him that they would replace the converter. and do the other repairs for $700.00. So he took the vehicle back to them after about 2 weeks we returned to pick up the vehicle and was told that only the Catalytic Converter had been completed and that he would have to return the vehicle when the parts arrived. My friend got inside the vehicle and discovered that the rear view mirror was broken and that the check engine light was still on. He went to speak with John and told him he wanted his $6000.00 back and Johns exact words were F word your $6000.00. he then went on to tell him how he was doing him that he was doing him a favor by doing these repairs and that if he said another word he was not going to do S-word. These were Johns exact words to a customer that had just put $6000.00 cash in his hands. I was so angry but I did not want to say anything because I did want my friend to get screwed over any more then he had been. I want to be clear that we never cursed or yelled All my friend said was John I am going to need to get my 6 grand back I am tired of this and this guy went ballistic. I am sure they will respond and say none of this never happened. But every word I am saying is true and I could not wait for my friend to get those repairs done so I could post this review.They also a many complaints with the BBB. read more

I worked with Ryan before I made the 2-hour drive to look at a Honda Odyssey that I was searching for. He was courteous and low pressure in all of my dealings with him. Vehicle was exactly as described on-line (actually better as it had brand new tires and brakes (rotors/pads)). Price was significantly lower than any other dealer within a 200 mile radius of me and the buying process was a breeze. I unfortunately purchased a car from this dealership a month ago. After signing all the paperwork and getting in I found out the door locks and wireless charging port were not working. This is a Friday evening mind you. I bring it back Monday morning for them to look at it, you know, because having lockable doors is kind of important right? Easy fix, it needs a new actuator or something like that. Give us a couple days and we'll have it in they tell me. Monday turns to Friday, I call and they have no recollection of me even being there. No part was ordered and my locks are still not working. They said they'd call me back. It's going on a month now and i still have yet to hear back about my door lock. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy.. I noticed there was a leak with the oil. They said it was an oil pan so they would fix it. I took it back to them. They kept it for a month, didn't even fix the problem. It still leaks, they put the wrong size drain plug on it. They stole the cup holders. And gave us a really bad attitude about wanting it fixed. To be honest, I really felt like they weren't very nice to begin with. We have most recently found a tracker attached to are battery after we bought from them SO PEOPLE CHECK UR BATTERY FOR UN NESSARAY WIRES. They can track your vehicle threw this but they denied instaling it even when they were the only ones who have ever been inside the engine bay. And inspect the car be for you take it to them so you will now if ur missing anything. read more

I had a great experience with KDK and I don't understand all the negative reviews. Yes, buying a car is expensive but KDK has great prices. I spotted a CR-V on cars.com that was a great deal, after looking for months! I emailed Phil and he replied very quickly to my questions which is important. I test drove it and purchased all within and hour of closing and it took no time at all. Ryan Markham worked with me to get the best financing option and he was very helpful as I haven't bought a used car in 11 years. He was patient and explained everything with no pressure to purchase any extras (there are great warranty options, which I declined). 1. Be very careful when believing what KDK orally tells you to get the sale. Make them put it in writing if you want it . They will tell you we are a family run operation doing business for a long time so just call us and we will take care of it. 2. Be very careful when reviewing Carfax Report versus what KDK tells you. 3. On the Retail Purchase Agreement look for additions to the sales price. KDK like to hurry you so you don't see additional charges. Look for one called Document Fee where a $250.00 Fee is added without telling you. Then, if that's not enough, that is added to the purchase prices and YOU are taxed for both on the total. Lookout for any Warranty Fees, too. 4. Expect the salesman to take you into a separate room and high pressure you into one or more Warranty Plans. If unsuccessful, the salesman's boss will come in and further really HIGH PRESSURE YOU. 5. Also, look on the Personal Loan Agreement for charges like loan fees of $195 and any Warranty charges. 6. I live 80 miles away and like a fool believed what they told me orally about car. After I got home, I contacted local Honda dealer inquiring about any open Recalls. I had to contact KDK regarding what Honda dealer found. I contacted KDK 3 or 4 times and never heard a thing. So much for the service after the sale. 7. I filed Complaint with the Ohio Attorney General who regulates used car dealer and that Complaint is currently pending against KDK. 8. My overall advice to prospective buyers of vehicles from KDK is to go slowly regarding the deal, never trust what KDK tells you, review the Purchase and Sales Agreement very carefully and when you enter and look at the showroom, remember other people who were taken advantage of paid for those furnishings. read more

The car I purchased had a very clean Carfax no accidents they said their mechanics checked out everything was running in perfect condition and has never been an accident. Then I found out it's been in an accident lots of pieces were repainted. I have some kind a transmission problem that kicks really hard long story short. They sold me a crashed re-fixed car that is starting to fall apart and it's only been a month. After repeatedly telling me that their mechanics checked out everything and I'm running into this many problems makes you wonder what kind of mechanics they have. They know exactly what they're selling and what the car condition is they just don't care what you buy as long as you buy and drive it off the lot. They even said all four tires were new on the car when I found out that there are three different tire brands on the car and none of the treads not each other and one tire tires Side is so cracked I'm afraid to drive it because it can pop any second. There are many things I found out about the car after I bought it. I do not advise anyone to buy a car because people like this should not be in business. Purchased my last car from KDK. I was a little uneasy at first shopping at a small local lot. When I got there I was met by a guy in regular street clothes who didn't try to sell me on anything. I test drove an SUV and told him I'd like to come back the next day to take it to my mechanic in Parma. He agreed and I did so the next day. The car needed new rear shocks and KDK agreed to replace them. All in all it was a great experience. I didn't get sold on anything I didn't want, and I didn't get any run around. 6 weeks after purchasing a vehicle from KDK, the brake light on dash appeared. We took it in to be checked, and found out that both rear lines were bad. Being that we're approximately 30 miles from KDK we had it serviced close to home. I called KDK to speak to the owner about this. "We were told at the time of purchase that all vehicles are put through a 21 point safety inspection. " I told him. This is by the way after my husband was in 2 accidents over the last year and we're not his fault. The owner tried to make me feel like a fool by saying all cars have rusty brake lines. He did offer to send $50 to help cover the $250 cost. It never showed up. Be Leary of this dealership and the supposed 21 point safety inspection. read more

I drove 135 miles to buy a 2008 F-150 Lariat SUPER CREW CAB KDK had listed online. The Truck looked very clean so I applied to see if I could finance the truck. I was approved and I told KDK I would drive up to look at the truck in person. I went up Aug. 29th ,2019 and KDK had several calls about the truck from locals but they held the truck until I arrived which I appreciated since I had driven about 135 miles to see the truck. The truck had just over 112 thousand miles on it and I was pleasantly surprised that the truck was much cleaner than I anticipated although it did have a few problems that I missed while I was at the dealer and found them as I drove home after buying the truck on Aug. 29th. I called KDK about the issues the next day on the 30th and they said to find a local shop here at home get an estimate on repairs and give them a call. As it was a holiday weekend coming up all the shops I called were all booked up so I called KDK and told them that I would drive back up to Brunswick Tuesday, Sept. 3rd and let them do the repairs there, On the 3rd as I was on my way back to the dealer the power steering blew the high-pressure line and one of the issues, when I left after buying the truck, was the horn wasn't working. When I arrived at KDK I gave my salesman, Ryan Markham , a list of repairs that needed to be done and that I found them after buying the truck on the 29th and also told him about the power steering and he drove it to their shop across the street. Their shop finished the truck up just before 5:30 pm the shop had replaced the power steering line at no cost to me. I left to start the drive home and noticed the horn still wasn't working and about 30 miles later when I got off the interstate for coffee the power steering wasnt working again and the power steering reservoir was dry and the unit was still leaking severely. I bought fluid and had to stop 5 times to refill the resvoir to keep from ruining the pump before I got home. I had repairs done today here at home. both horns had to be replaced and the leak on the power steering was just a loose line but those 2 repairs cost me $213.97 in parts and labor. I will call KDK tomorrow to see if they have an offer of resolution for me and I'll post about that later read more

I purchased a 2006 Acura RSX Type-S from RJ at KDK Auto, before purchasing the vehicle I ask RJ a series of questions the assure the vehicle had nothing wrong with it; I mentioned that I am a college student living in the desert and cannot afford to take on several repairs for a vehicle. Upon receiving the vehicle I found out the weather strips on both doors and the windshield were coming off, an easy fix. However, I then found out both light bulbs were out in the headlamps, the cars alignment was off by several degrees and the two front rims were "out of round" aka bent. Since owning the vehicle I have had to put more than $1000 of repairs into my vehicle - aside from that, since owning the vehicle, the A/C unit made a rattling noise that I didn't pay much attention to, turns out the A/C compressor was going bad, I now have another $400 repair on my hands that cannot be held off like weather strips or rims could have. I live in a desert and a valley with no A/C in my car - 112 degree weather. All in all, I am very dissatisfied with KDK Auto and their "lead" salesman, RJ. Unless you like being lied to, be careful when purchasing a vehicle from this company, have a mechanic or someone who really knows the in-and-outs about cars with you. read more

It's been in the shop more than we have able to drive it! SERIOUSLY! when we finally got it back from them the rocker panel was broke, horn not connected and they was rude to my husband it's just ridiculous that you spend that kind of money and get treated like shit and get your car back worse off than it went there! So now we will be paying another dealership to fix what they broke! And yes it went in with a full tank of gas and came back on E and dirty as hell inside and out!! Upon arrival, it seemed KDK had a good selection and variety of vehicles, but the customer service was sleazy, rude, and insulting. The Sales Manager, John Cirner, said hello to me as he went to use the restroom, and came out ~15 seconds later and did not approach me to introduce himself and attempt to shake hands (Thankfully he didn't) He asked what he can help me with and I said I would like to test drive some of the cars on his lot, and began to ask questions about getting pre-approved. I asked if John was trying to run my credit with a hard/soft pull, and John responded with, "Oh, it's just a normal pull." Embarrassing tactic to avoid the question. After some back and forth, John Cirner told me I was being unco-operative and was giving him a hard time. He claimed that I had told him I was financing a car and that he had asked me on the way in if I am financing today, and which I said yes. Clearly I didn't, corrected him, and told him I had cash. He immediately hands me the keys after copying my ID, and claims "I should have said that when I walked in." I have talked to associates about this group, and this is a common theme with this group. read more

Worst dealership ever! They treated myself and my husband like garbage after we drove the car off the lot. Nothing but lies about fixing the navigation they promised to fix. After 2 1/2 weeks of dealing with one guy after another lying, being talked over and cut off by every man there, and then finally being screamed at by Dan that we were playing games with them I no longer felt safe enough to continue to bring my vehicle to them to have yet another unqualified person look at the navigation so we ended up taking a loss and having a broken navigation. Which is what we are pretty sure they wanted because we were told it was going to cost them thousands to fix the problem. Their idea of a qualified technician was sending our radio/navigation system out to some guy on eBay to be fixed (which didn't work anyway). Terrible customer service. First I called when they opened to no answer. Waited 15 to get an answer. I asked about financing a vehicle and salesman said he would call back in 40 minutes. I waited for over 4 and a half hours for him to call me back. He said I would need big down payment. I informed him that I was approved for the same amount the previous day from another dealer. He said "they just say that to get you in there." I told him it wasnt a lie because I seen paperwork in person. While I cant vouch for their vehicles I can say they are very unprofessional. I drove off KDK lot in my newly purchased vehicle and shortly after received a text message from Dan- a KDK employee - that he had my garage door opener and sunglasses I left in my trade-in. I let him know I'd be back in Monday to drop off some paper work they needed to finalize everything and I'll grab my things then. When I showed up Dan had no idea what I was talking about. Luckily I saved his text. So I showed it to him and he proceeded to tell me he didn't have my CLE clothing company glasses, my Raybans or my genie opener. They mysteriously disappeared. Sure it was my responsibility to get my stuff out of my trade-in. But the fact that he stated he had my belongings in his possession and would set them aside for me, made me rethink who is responsible at this point. They offered no reimbursement, no apology. I wasn't even upset about the numerous hours I wasted at KDK trying to make a purchase, the huge oil leak in my newly purchased vehicle days after I picked it up, the rude customer service, the arrogant staff. It was the principle of the situation that got to me. Save yourself the headaches, go anywhere else. The numerous, similar reviews are not a fluke. And now that I left a negative review they probably won't send me that $10 gas card :( read more

Worked with RJ for a few days to buy a Jeep. Received a purchase agreement. I put full coverage insurance on it, I got a loan and drove 3hr's total to pick up a check. Cheaper rates elsewhere. On my way to get the check I called to let them know again. A very nice man name Dan helped me. Said I should leave a deposit "first time hearing about a deposit is needed".I was never offered a deposit with RJ just got a purchase agreement which I thought was significant to hold the Jeep. Once the deposit was in place I got the check from the bank but then was called saying the Jeep was sold. I drove 3hr's and got my credit ran, took a day off from unpaid work to have no car! They said they refunded me my deposit. I was willing to drive 7 hrs total there and back , glad at least that did not happen. A deposit in the beginning would of prevented all of this but I was NOT offered. I gusss lesson learned. I would not shop with this dealership. I'm thinking they sold it to someone they knew knowing someone is buying it soon. Very disappointing! read more

I had a long history buying cars from KDK. Recently had back-to-back poor experiences. The customer service was unresponsive - not returning phone calls. The salesman actually told me he didn't had time for me because he had customers. This after we have purchased 6 cars previously from KDK. Great way to treat a frequent buyer....and I was given the excuse "there are only 2 guys here" and they don't always know what the other one is doing....maybe its time to hire another person??? Walked into the place to test drive a car I saw on Auto Trader, after driving 1 hour. When we walked in we were never greeted or said hello, my name is, nothing. It was a man who looked like a backyard mechanic came up 5 minutes after we get in, (after 4 different people walked by us saying nothing.) He says "hey what do ya need." We explain we were there to test drive a vehicle, they had it out front. He went and started it. (May I remember you at this time we are THE ONLY CUSTOMERS in the building) We sat there waiting for 25 minutes for it to be scraped off then someone to take it to go get gas, then for them to scramble for 10 minutes to FIND A DEALER PLATE. In that 25 minutes waiting TO DRIVE THE CAR another man approached us, without saying hi or introducing himself his first words were "So you paying cash or financing". My husband stated "Well, nice to meet you, we haven't even drove the car yet." So needless to say even after all of this we fell in love with the car. We offered hin a price slightly lower than the asking price and he refused it several times, which is totally fine!!!! So we parted our ways. I just personally would never want to deal with these people for more than an hour. If we got such little respect and such little help trying to BUY a car, I would HATE to buy a car from there and ever need any assistance with it. All around a joke of a "dealership". I normally am not someone to write a review about a business, but I feel this needs to be heard and used as a warning for anyone considering buying a vehicle from KDK Auto Brokers. I talked to a salesman named Ryan about the condition of the vehicle, the CARFAX stated the vehicle has been in an accident before but he confirmed the body work and mechanical work was done and done correct. I bought the vehicle and sent my daughter to pickup the truck (I am in Denver, so about a 21 hour drive) Once she arrived home, I took the truck to my shop and the door paint was the wrong color and the shocks were completely blown out. This is all on a truck that was "in pristine condition" and is a 2015 with 35,000 miles on it. I understand vehicles get in accidents and not all body or mechanical work is known by a dealer, but when I called this dealership in order to inform them of the poor experience I had with them the gentleman was extremely rude and I was told it was no longer their issue. As a small business owner myself, I was hoping they would stand behind their sale and at least give me an apology if nothing else. This is not the case, and to say I am disappointed would be an understatement. Please give your car sales to a dealership that values the customer and has business ethics. read more

We bought my husbands car there in July and had relatively no problems. But in October his car stopped running. We came to find out that it was because the dealership didn't put in the correct battery when we purchased it. Because the battery was wrong it caused other parts of the car to need repaired. It ended up costing us $1200 which they refused to pay. They offered for us to come there and fix it but we didn't trust them at this point and preferred to go somewhere we trusted. they claim to be a family owned and run business with family values and a "laid back attitude", but in reality. they are just another used car dealership with the same lax morals as every other sleazy place. i drove 2 hours in my truck to view a car on their lot, explained that i was interested and only needed a few days to get the cash together. the General manager (RJ) said he would hold the car for a week or two till i had the cash and could take a day off work and drive back down. well the day i was ready to purchase the car i got in touch with john the sales manager and he told me they sold the car already. they make promises on a handshake to customers under the guise of trustworthy family men, but do not keep their word and did not follow through with those promises. i recommend everyone avoid this dealership at all costs. read more

Dishonest from the start ... Bought a car and the engine has died today and it hasn't even been two years yet. The sales manager John assured me that the car had ZERO emissions problems when I requested emissions test prior to vehicle purchase. Stupidly I trusted this guy who by the way sold me the car with only one key (the valet key) and said it was my fault for not asking about other keys prior to the completion of the sale. Whose owner offered me $100 dollars to cover for the car not coming with an remote entry key. 1 day after purchasing the vehicle the check engine light came on. This car business is laced in dishonesty and I believe they are selling knowingly damaged cars that they simply reset the emissions light and sucker unsuspecting buyers. Being a public servant myself I'm mortified that my daughter who is away at school no longer has transportation and I'm out of $6000 that this company stole. read more

Bad Experience with these guys!!! Word to the Wise, Have a plan B, C and or alternative option "Before" giving these guys ANY of YOUR hard earned money!! Actually, another piece of advice, go with a "REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP" that offers you a warranty and honors their car if you drive it off their lot after spending thousands. KDK is more interested in the volume/sales not you the consumer "point & case". My experience made me feel horrible and all they could say is "sorry sir". I picked out a Dodge Ram 1500 in which i put down a deposit for, and they pressed me "hard" to finance more than I wanted to afford/budget. They ran my credit anyway, even though the truck they were selling, needed repairs before it was released. They found a couple of issues with the truck and "promised" that I would get it in a few weeks. After it was ready, I told them that I would pick it up at the end of the week, (KICKER) only to find out they MARKED THE TRUCK almost $1100 less than I was quoted online and Sold it to someone else before I could get there. What a SHAM!! Bad business!! Why have a down payment/deposit policy if you won't honor it?? All they could say is "Sorry" and we'll give you your deposit back. Like I said, do your homework and work with a reputable dealership. KDK Auto is not that, and they don't care about consumers, but they are more interested in Volume/Money/Gauging Prices. Know what you are interested in, and DON'T DO ANY DEPOSITS!!! They either will KEEP your money, or they still will sell the car your holding. Look elsewhere because they don't care. If i could have left a zero star, I would have, but they were decent people and they did allow me to test drive the truck. However, their business practices are flawed and needs attention because they are not providing a decent business for consumers. Always, always get another opinion before spending 17 - 25,000 dollars. Don't be pressured/bullied by their tactics or threats to sell the car that your looking at. Yes, they do have some nice looking cars/trucks, however, their longevity or performance may have issues. Check CarFAX's, history, and the overall cost/maintenance on their vehicles. I bought a very nice looking 2007 Subaru Forester off of what I thought were friendly and family oriented salespeople. Less than 3 miles down the road when I pulled out of the lot the check engine light came on and everything has gone downhill from there... I called KDK and one of the owners seemed very nice about it and told me just to bring it back and they would be able to fix it. When I brought it back the guy (who always wears a button up shirt and flip flops) brought a mechanic out and diagnosed it. While they were diagnosing it, the flip flop guy was sitting in the front seat... Smoking a cigarette!!! They simply reset it and told me there was no check engine light so there was no diagnosis. A few days went by and as I was cornering the car shut off (lost power steering, lights, etc.). It started to do this every time and when I brought it back to them they could not fix it, so after bringing it to a different repair shop it was simply a dirty throttle body. The check engine light has been on for weeks now and the auto zone scanner says it is a bad catalytic converter. This car has been a disaster since the day I bought it. The minute I got home I checked the oil... Black. Overdue 4k miles. I am a college student who wanted a reliable car and kdk was not the way to go. drove up there was 90 mile trip had great expectations the car we went to see had 100.000 mile was supposed to be servced said rust free on phone . we got there drove the car pulled over to look at It was rusted out underneath finger went through floor they tried to hide the rust with undercoating .was ready to call it quits so my wife sees another car she likes it looks good no rust we drive it down the road and pull over to check it out I raised the hood checked oil looked like mud trans stick wasn't even in the tube which made me wonder how much water was in tranny when they cleaned engine. second thing checked oil in tranny mind had drove it awhile was dry on the stick so the fluid went somewhere. mind you I am a mechanic so I notice things air did not get cold every car we looked at was garbage . they were shined up but unserviced and it bothered me of how many I looked and were trash I wonder how many people bought cars only to fall prey to breakdowns later I hate to say this but im not gonna lie buy elsewhere and save yourself a lot of heart ache read more
