While he was installing he was badmouthing the work of the people who had installed our sump pump and refused to install the vapor barrier properly around the pump. The seals around edges and at the top of the walls were never properly done and sure enough, water was coming through. He sent someone out to repair the poor work and it didn't work. He then asked me to go buy supplies and do it myself, I said no. He came back and tried again to fix the mistakes. It was again a failure. Now he refuses to answer calls or emails. The warranty stated on the receipt and the website is clearly marked as transferable but he is also clearly not an honorable man and is lacking in skill and integrity. His use of his faith as a selling point also makes me feel that he is a questionable character and is preying upon people who would take that endorsement into consideration when hiring him.

He took time to explain the proposed process and answered our questions on the spot and then some subsequent questions. He was VERY patient. Once we decided to have the work done he promptly scheduled a time. There were jobs scheduled ahead of us but he stayed in touch with us during the waiting period (just under 2 weeks). He showed up promptly on the start day and made sure that we understood what would be happening over the 4-5 day period he would be there. He prepared our home as if it were his so that debris/dust and such was kept to a minimum in our living area while they worked. Each day he checked in with us prior to leaving, keeping us up to date with the progress. He welcomed our interest in the project - or, if he didn't, we couldn't tell. The clean up was excellent. He brought the areas he worked on back to a 'ready to finish' standard. And a very good one at that. Though we haven't had a serious rain since the project was finished the installed system was tested with a full run hose and all went very well. Not only does his service come with a smile - it comes with a lifetime guarantee for the type work we had done. Striping of the block foundation walls, sanding where necessary, support added where necessary, trench along the entire wall from inside space through a storage area, two garages on into the yard; trench lined appropriately, drainage pipe installed with access ports at the beginning and middle of the drain area. Then cementing the trench area and blacktopping the outside trench. Just excellent. We will report again after the next major rain event. In our experience anything of 2+ inches within 3 hours would generate leaking in the past. We've had one big rain since the project completed and though it wasn't enough to have caused major leaking in the past we would normally have seen wet spots in the foundation and that did not happen.

It took forever, and once we were in the process I couldn't wait till it was over. It felt like the Three Stooges were sent to do the work. The painting had to be redone several times -- their "team" clearly had no idea what they were doing. We had to have them rebuild the door at least twice, because the quality was truly subpar. Six months later, the door is already showing age (see photo). They were careless with the space (inside the patio, and in the surrounding garden). They never cleaned up after themselves. I had to entirely cut back one of the plants behind the patio because it was so badly broken. I'd find nails and debris around outside that I would have to throw away; they brought plastic, but barely covered our patio furniture (so I did that myself); and they broke one of our side tables. Attention to detail was absent -- I've attached photos of just SOME of the trim corners that do not match up -- there are gaps instead. Chad and his son Adam were nice enough, but we were paying for something that should've looked excellent in the end. It looks OKAY (if you don't really look at the details), and it was no fun getting there. I would absolutely suggest using a different contractor.
