I was told YES over the phone that I was a new donor and that I would be getting new donor pay. I schedule a new donor appointment I go through all of the new donor process spent 3 HOURS doing this whole process expecting to get the new donor rate I get to the exam room just to be told I am not a new donor and that I will be payed the non new donor rate. I spoke with the manger TINA HUNT about the mistake and the customer service was subpar blaming the fact that the company has a "new system" I am extremely disappointed in the service provided. Waisted 3 hours of my time there staff is not knowledgeable and there management isn't any better. The fact that I called and verified AHEAD of time to make sure that mistakes like this doesn't happen just to be shewed away. If I had known I was not a new donor I wouldn't have made the drive and invested 3 hours of my day for NOTHING and to be treated terribly. I tried contacting corporate but there is no customer support that I could find. I was told I would get new donor pay I called and verified before I went just to be lied to and deceived and when trying ti make things right speaking to the manger get terrible customer service and no corporate complaint Im just left missing 3 hours of my life for NOTHING. Not only for the much needed extra cash, but a chance to see the very knowledgeable and super friendly staff!!! From start to finish was great!! Preston one of the mangers was very helpful and readily answered any questions or concerns I had, and did it all with a pleasant smile on his face!! I was expressing to him my extreme fear of needles and told him how I always come here free of fear because of the excellent talent when any of their employees "stick you!!" JAMAR is the man!!! When I tell how talented this fella is when it comes to sticking there aren't enough words to praise him!!! The…read morewoman on the phone gave me incomplete information, and I drove 45 minutes to donate, only to be turned away because of their mistake. The woman at the desk was extremely rude and unprofessional. So the next day, I went to THIS location on Reagan Drive. I was honestly impressed. The woman at the front desk was professional, and as I interacted with her more throughout my visit, she became more and more pleasant. The facility was very clean and well organized. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept. Every person I dealt with there was friendly, happy, and helpful. The entire process took me 3 hours. But there are televisions to watch if you get bored. I took a book, and found that the atmosphere was quiet enough that I could enjoy reading it. The customers were pleasant, and stuck to the rules. The only rule breaking that I saw was a woman holding a cigarette, and the staff was very quick to ask her to put it away. They really seem to care about maintaining a place of quality. The medical staff that drew my plasma explained everything very well. They were pleasant and checked on me often. The ONLY complaint, if you can even call it that, was that my husband was turned away due to a history of asthma. If he'd had an inhaler with him, it wouldn't have been a problem. Telling people ahead of the 3 hour wait (before the physical) of requirements like that would save a lot of time. If you are looking to donate in the Charlotte area, I recommend this facility over the others.

There is a priority line that you are supposed to have a pass for but is not monitored so people often use it to cut ahead. Most of my visits have been pleasant and most of the staff are very friendly. However the wait time is not good. This morning there was only one person doing screening. There were 11 people in line waiting. I ended up leaving.
