I have given blood in several ARC locations across the country and I was blown away by my experience at this location. Very friendly staff and volunteers. Quick and painless check in process. Although I am sure that there are times where the wait is fairly great... This time around was smooth sailing. The location was clean, organized and well kept. The chairs you sit in to donate were very nice, comfortable and accommodating. The woman who assisted me was an absolute joy and although she was more chatty than others I've had, I found it to be refreshing and pretty sure it made the process see much quicker. This was the quickest, easiest, painless and most enjoyable experience I've ever had donating blood. With that said, I am going to make every effort to make sure I am back here every eight weeks!! ARC Headquarters... this location is doing it right! If you're having issues at some of your locations or need guidance on what the process should look like when donating blood, you should definitely use this location as a shinning example of success!! Readers... regardless of your location, if you haven't recently, GO GIVE BLOOD NOW! Save lives!

I went to the pop up blood donation center at the Mooresville Public Library ... and I have done many busses as well. Everyone is always so accommodating as I've been doing this for 18 years... so I know what I'm looking for to make myself comfortable and no matter what Red Cross blood bank I am at, they are always wonderful. They have extra fans and a table with snacks and juices for afterward and they recommend you staying and talking just to make sure you're ok to leave. Music is playing which helps with the welcoming atmosphere. I plan on donating again at this location again next time.

Recently had to get CPR Certified for my job. I work in a small satellite office but I will be the…read more"senior" person at the office while my other coworker proceeds toward his retirement. That being said, my company was willing to put me through training so that at least one person in this tiny office can be trained to respond in the event of an emergency. It was super easy to sign up for a course - luckily my company covered the cost... The course gives you access to an online Red Cross portion of training where it is interactive - "choose your own adventure" type interface where you learn the check, call, care skills necessary to put into place and be an effective care-giver. Once you finish the online portion (2-3 hrs)... there is an in-person skills portion of the course. You have to finish the online portion first (and bring your certificate to class). It seems like they had a lot of sessions available... I picked a Saturday since it didn't conflict with the work week, but we spent a good one and a half hours practicing CPR on dummy/manikin and babies/manikins.... wrapped up the session with first aid (how to bandage wounds) and now we were ready to go out there and save lives! Well hopefully it's all preventative skills and you never really have to use them, but I feel better about giving care in case one of my colleagues goes down. Overall, CPR Pros is very professional and provided me with a great experience in training/certification. I was actually really surprised by the interactive, online training, but it got the job accomplished in this fast-paced world we live in.

Her corrections were always gentle and encouraging, and she kept a great pace throughout the class. She was highly informative, answered every question with care, and her experience and expertise really shone through. I was especially impressed by how she engaged the shyer participants, making everyone feel included and comfortable. She is very attentive to her students and has a natural way of encouraging confidence. I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to because of how positive this experience was. After class, Amy even stayed a few minutes to chat with students and made sure everything was cleaned and sanitized with great attention to detail. It gave me peace of mind knowing the mannequins and accessories were fresh and ready for the next group. She balances professionalism with a friendly manner--engaging in conversation while still keeping everything on track. I highly recommend Amy's class to anyone considering it--you'll leave feeling both supported and inspired!

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Grace Caskey when she facilitated the CPR & AED course for my…read moreoffice. Working with Grace over the last week was such a pleasure, she made it very easy to communicate and responded the same day with emails or phone calls. Payment When submitting payment, she provided multiple options to accommodate the best and fastest process for you. As would any office we had a few additional adds to our original 13 count, and she was completely understanding and to welcome the other 3 attendees. Planning I connected with her two days before her arrival to find out how we could accommodate her at our location. She shared her needs for the presentation and the space that she would require. We chose one of our larger areas in our office, which I recommend particularly if you have a large attending team as we did. I also mentioned to her that we would be feeding our team during the training and she was completely ok with that. Arrival She arrived on time allowing herself plenty of time to set up and promptly began the course. I was pleased when she shared that she looked into the traffic pattern herself before arriving to allow enough time. Sometimes vendors will ask how long the travel time will be from their location to our office. Most times I'm unsure with the various traffic patterns. So, I appreciated it greatly that she looked into this herself. Class Everyone in my office was very pleased with the way Grace taught the class. She made it extremely fun, involving and allowed everyone to ask endless questions. We liked that she provided us with quick notes already typed up, this was a huge plus! The notes allowed us to focus on the class more and if we needed to step away for a business call, we could do so. I HIGHLY recommend taking a course with your work office, family, church or a group of friends. Grace is Great!
