Great experience here, I have no idea what Brenda is complaining about. Those are all common…read morebackground questions they ask of every person including my white friends. But, you can't control other people playing the victim in every scenario. Anyways, they have great deals such as for your first month getting $100/donation. P.S. any needles that could potentially be non-sterile such as one on a needle gun, they don't allow a donation for 6 months due to the potential contraction of hepatitis. If you truly cared about helping people more than the money you'd understand that.

Let me start with, the staff that works here is great! They do a great job & i feel it goes…read moreunnoticed by your corporate office. I will say a few things im not happy about is the new payout they decided to just up & change all of a sudden for those who are on the tetanus program. I have literally missed out on my 2nd donation (not by choice), 3 weeks in a row, and with the new pay out im only getting 1/4 of what i was getting for my 2 donations. Its really kind of screwed me, as i spend money getting rides to & from to donate every week, and some. The other thing that im not happy about is how they started using scissors when you finish donating instead of the devices they used previously to seal off the blood in the tube being disconnected! I watched poor staff have blood spilled on them several times because of this, and to me i think its a huge hazard to the employees working not to mention patients coming in to donate. I really wanted to share this review because i have been donating for over 20years, and some of these changes are just not right with me. I will however give kuddos to the staff, they are hard working & always friendly to me in all of the years i have been coming to donate. They all deserve pay raises, and hope that the corporate office takes what im saying seriously, because it would be sad to lose good staff & donors as myself that have been continuously coming to donate and making you money! Thanks!

From the ambulance drivers to the nursing staff, everyone I interacted with was so friendly. I was able to check in upon arrival and placed in the waiting room for my husband to arrive by ambulance a free minutes later. The nurses we interacted with answered all my questions and did everything in a quick, prompt fashion. I was surprised that our emergency room experience was less than two hours, and I was super grateful for everything that everyone did. From what I could tell the restroom, emergency room, waiting room, hallways, and his individual room were all clean and well stocked.

Where do I start? My experience at Bryan Health was horrible. I had a medical emergency and ended…read moreup in the hospital for days. Now, I don't know much medical wise, especially not as much as my own mother does. I od on A LOT of pills, and i they decided to get the pills out of my system 3 days later, when they could have taken them out of my system the day I arrived. When my mom confronted them they said " oh yeah I guess we could have". They also refused to show me my medical charts on mychart, because they didn't have the right name for me ( They asked me my name in the ambulance and I was not in the right headspace so I had said my preferred name I go by instead of my legal name) and they refused to change it. I was so exhausted mentally and physically, that all I did was sleep. One day the doctor leaned over my med and asked me a medical question that I needed to decide ( I forgot which one it was) and I said i'm not sure but I said it on the spot and called my mom after ( They refused to let her sleep the night because of the "rules". As I called her, I asked my mo mother if i made an ok choice just to be sure ( it was). Not long after the same nurse came back leaned over me and said " Why did you call your mom to make a medical decision for you? Your 20 you can make your own decisions. Do not call your mom again to ask her for advice. your 20" As I explained the situation back. I told my mom what had happened, and she stood up to the nurse. When my mom walked out the room, the same nurse had leaned over my bed again ( again as I lay helpless because i needed help walking), and said "Did you tell your mom i told you not to call her, because I never said that so do not make lies about me" and walked away. And this is not even everything. They put me in the psych ward after upstairs ( same hospital) and there several things happened. I had a panic attack, as the nurses and staff just walked by acting like I didn't exist even though I was shaking. I decided to go to my room once I was ready and began to cry more, and they came in told me to stop so I could get my blood drawn in a middle of my panic attack and walked off as if nothing happened. My friend had came in and sat on my bed ( the opposite end) to comfort me because the staff wasn't doing their job nor helping and the nurses escalated it from there and removed me from the unit, and switched me over to the adult adult ward, and kicked my friend out of the hospital fully. They accused her of touching me which never happened and didn't believe me when I said she didn't, and they laughed at me. Another girl in the psych ward had a seizure as Vicky. Remember that specific name. Vicky, for the unit of assertive people Vicky, decided it would be a good idea to lean over my friend tell her to get up herself, she's faking and looked at her watching a seizure and got frustrated and walked off, as another PATIENT, helped this poor girl out. And that's not even all. This place is horrible with the staff. The most I got out of it was the patients in the psych ward who understood me the most as we stayed up late having deep conversations and group therapy. However I highly do NOT recommend this place and Vicky still works there from what I know
