I've been going to KEDPLASMA for almost a year at this point. The last time I donated the tech blew my vein out. Left my arm bruised and swollen for two weeks. I couldn't return until I got the bruising to go away. I returned today and was told I wasn't quite there yet. I asked to speak with the manager and she was great. Told me she'd speak with the director about setting me up with an inconvenience fee for dealing when the injury and not being able to donate for two weeks. The director denied my fee for whatever reason. This is unacceptable, I was injured through no fault of my own by one of the company's employees and as a result was unable to donate for two weeks. I am going to be fully honest here. The manager was great and most of the staff are too but when one of your employees injures one of your donors, it's good business to ensure that your donor is compensated to some extent. I don't think I'll be coming back. I'll be posting this on the Better Business Bureau and I'll be contacting corporate. If the director sees this he knows who I am and can reach out to provide justification for his decision. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. My friend gave them my name not my full name so on her second visit I went with her and now they refuse too give me the 75$ for my referral fee not one time have I had me refer someone somewhere and me not get m referral fee if it was over 3 or 4 donations I get that nowhere does it state your referral has too be put in on first donation and it shows in their system that she was not referred she told them what happened the day she went up there with me so I don't recommend anyone up there they'll get you for whatever they can read more

I have donated here about 100 times. For the most part, it has been pleasant. There are some things you can do to make it more pleasant such as eating what is recommended or not eating anything in the hours before you come in and drinking lots of non sugar stuff, preferably water. This will help their machine cycle to 20 each cycle and you'll only have 5 cycles instead of 6 to 7 cycles and you'll get done and out the door much faster. Also it might help you some to drink a bottle of Gatorade AFTER you finish your donation. I try to go in on Tuesday and Thursday around 11 AM when they aren't busy. I usually allot 2 hours of time and it usually doesn't take that long to complete both the computer questionnaire, physical exam and donation process. Sometimes my needle or the filter jams and that makes it take slightly longer. Everyone that works there is cool to me and the Doctor there has always treated me professionally as well but they have certain rules that they will get on you about breaking such as no food or liquid on the donor floor unless they give it to you, no talking on the cellphone- you can use your phone to look at or listen to music- and absolutely no sleeping or closing or covering your eyes with anything! Basically you lay there for about an hour and read or listen to music of watch the TVs they have on the wall. The place is also very clean and well kept including the bathrooms. The only gripe I have is that they have cut what they pay. They pay less than they paid when I started a tad over a year ago. They cut $5 off the weekly donation then this month they quit paying the 8 times in a month donation bonus of $40. So I'm making $60 less a month than I used to get even though inflation has been high. Another thing is that, while most of your fellow donors are nice, some of them can be somewhat weird or even scary. What you might expect in a place like this I guess. Some of them come in there with bad body odors or even high or drunk. So just be a bit leery of people you are around. Most are friendly and I have enjoyed many good conversations in the physical exam waiting area and with neighbor donors on the floor. But do be cautious and don't stare at other donors on the floor even if they are pretty gals. read more

I was just told I can't donate anymore because I felt lightheaded and had to stop my donation early on my last visit. While, I was in the chair toward the end of my first visit the tech discovered my blood pressure was low before I began treatment(which I didn't know). So it makes sense why I got lightheaded. I shouldn't have been allowed to donate that day and if I knew my blood pressure was low I would have voluntarily not donated!!! I honestly didn't drink enough fluids and didn't eat a substantial meal before my visit. So THAT'S why I had low blood pressure. It was my fault I admit. But to say I have low blood pressure from one reading one time is NOT an accurate measure of a person's normal day to day blood pressure. To disqualify someone from donating because of one reading is incredibly unfair!!! Blood pressure fluctuates throughout the day based on fluid intake, stress, physical activity, etc.... This Doctor has never meet me and doesn't know my medical history. She or he has no right to say I can't donate anymore! Incredibly unprofessional to go to donate and have a staff member say I can't donate anymore. The Doctor if he/she really cared would have called me at the very least!!! So yeah you can go here, but make sure you don't have a systolic blood pressure in the 90's and a diastolic in 50's before you donate because if you get lightheaded and have to stop early then your screwed. If this company really cared they should have called me personally to tell me, so I didn't have to drive here to find this out. Most importantly they would never disqualify me from one blood pressure reading. I really liked the people and the facility but this was just unacceptable! I would really appreciate a call from the Manager of this facility to discuss this. I've never wrote a bad review in my life until now. I really needed this money for my family. L Service, and at least 3 mfs up in there don't know how to properly insert the needle and stuff so be prepared for that... also they get mad when you ask them for sum to help you squeeze. I just donated and it's taking them sooo long to pay me out. I didn't want to be rude and ask them to load my card. I even went in a got a new card, hoping they would load it for me. Still nothing. I can't do this with these people. They take the fun out of it. I'm giving them a 5 start because they are the best in my area. When I first went there I had a bad experience with the Dr not sure his name but he was white and bald but he feel asleep on me. But they took care of me.. I got to give a special shot out to Marus he is mad cool he have impeccable customer service then I'm do a shout to my girl in front from Cleveland Ohio she consistent with her stuff she clean she care about the people she go hard for us . Another shout out to New York she a sticker with red hair and glasses she mad cool. The young lady that sign new donor in she got long natural hair she always a sweet heart she kinda short.I got to give it up to management he wears a brown coat he is the bomb he always walkin around help making sure things are ran good he very humble and nice and he reward his worker by buying food and begin a hand on boss his awesome the old black manager he cool but he don't speak much and there a older lady dark-skinned balled she great as well.. I'm not sure if her name Keisha but she do physical and screens slim short with pretty eyelash she a beast she made cool and I can see her moving on owning her own center she a sweetheart.
