Had a great experience renting a 25 person boat on Lake Travis. Our Captain Dylan was great! We all felt safe, had a blast, and felt that the communication was good. Our boat had a speaker, storage bins, two slides, a SUP, and lily pad. They have a discount on Sundays btw. The only thing I'd change is that if your boat is from 10:30-2:30, you'll be leaving/going back around 2:05, so you don't have as much time as you think you do. Also, the dock area is owned by a private place and they charge you entrance fee, even if you're just getting dropped off. It was $20 for my van of friends. But overall we had a good, fun, safe time. read more

DONT BUY THE ICE!! We had a card holder stolen on a trip we booked on 4/20/25. We were offered ice and now looking back, it seemed like a diversion. A man named " Shaun" walked the bags down while an additional 2 men roamed the dock. My friend was distracted by "Shaun" (who changes $8 per bag of ice) while other 2 men were near the captains seat. Anytime we asked Captain Matt who they were he would walk away ignoring the question completely. Captain Matt kept saying it will turn out in a bag somewhere. What was supposed to be a great Easter / birthday gathering started off on a bad note. My friend who booked this boat had her identity stolen. We believe this was a scam. We were distracted by someone brining ice to the boat by some one named "Shaun". When "Shaun" was requesting payment card holder went missing from the captains boat. 2 men who were not part of our party were near the boat. Anytime we asked Captain Matt who they were he would fidget on his phone or just simply walk away ignoring the question completely. As soon as we boarded the boat we were offered to buy ice for $8 a bag. Captain Matt contacted someone named "Shaun" to bring. While Captain Matt and "Shaun" were asking for payment, 2 other white men were near boat card holder was taken from the captains seat. I believe we were all gas lit because every time we would ask Captain Matt who those men were he would ignore the question completely and he instead started texting someone on his phone and tried to convince us we put it in a bag somewhere. That was not the case. Captain Matt was concerned over how he would receive his tip. Over all, Captain Matt was defensive when the person who booked the boat asked about extra time he offered us in the first place. MY IDENTITY WAS STOLEN. When we arrived to boat, Captain Matt let me know he had a source for ice, one small little bag of ice was $8/ $32 for 4. His friend "Shaun" came to drop off ice. When we boarded the boat, proof of ID and form of payment were requested by Captain Matt. As soon as it was handed back to me, cards went back into card holder. It was placed on captains seat. I turned to my left to retrieve my phone. When I turned back to my right my wallet was taken from the seat. I was standing in that area by myself. We were still docked loading boat. No one on that boat had been drinking and I am a responsible person. Never have I misplaced important documents such as my identity. Captain Matt kept reassuring me that it probably fell in that water and sank down. It's a card holder, wouldn't sink. The reason why I am so sure this was a scam is because, 2 men were walking back and fourth, no one in my party. Not Captain Matt or "Shaun". I referenced them to Matt multiple times, he completely disregarded my question as to who they were. It was as if every time I would I ask he would turn the other way. We lost about 30 mins looking for card holder (that was taken) and while boat was being loaded. Captain Matt said he would give us an other 30 mins to make up time. 45 minutes before 2:30 he let us know we'd be heading back. Calculating the time, he was going to take us back at the same time (our reservation was from 11:30-2:30) Captain Matt did not have to offer anything to begin with, but he took it upon himself to do so so when I questioned him about the time, he got defensive, and I stated that he was getting defensive and immediately started to backpedal. We were trying to make the best out of it as this was my daughter's birthday party since I already sent an attitude and I had my identity stolen. I was just kind of going with the flow, trying to make the best out of my day and I let him know that we could just head out at whatever time as long as we could stop at the restroom which we did. His only concern was to get tipped at the end of the ride. He made it very clear I needed to figure out an alternative form of payment to make sure he got his tip since my identity was stolen along with forms of payment, cash, identification cards. Ultimately, the identities of the two other men were never With myself or my party, but please be aware. Don't take the ice. It's probably part of how items get taken within plain sight. read more

He's respectful of the water, attentive to what's around and makes you feel safe while having a great time. You can tell he not only knows what he's doing, but loves what he's doing. You know, I've never considered myself much of a "let's get on the water and drink" kind of guy, but I'd be lying if I said the opportunity to do it has come up very often. However, being that we were coming to Austin for my buddy's bachelor party, and knowing how hot the weather was going to be, doing exactly that seemed like the perfect, lazy activity for us to try to stay cool. And I have to say, now that I've done it, getting out on the water and just drinking is pretty damn fun! Now, since one of the other groomsmen was the one who booked our reservation with Keep Austin Wet, I can't say anything about what the process entailed or how that all went. What I can say though is that, purely as a guest along for the ride (quite literally), our experience was terrific! While it was a little confusing trying to figure out which boat was ours (it's one large launch/dock and the boats don't have much in the way of signage/branding), we were quickly on our way after getting a quick rundown on the boat and safety measures from our captain, Chase. A brief ride down the river later (past a ton of gorgeous looking mansions, I might add) and we found ourselves pulling into the 360 Cove, where dozens of other boats had also posted up. While we weren't able to link up to some of the livelier boats (we were between two other bachelor parties...womp womp), we were actually fine with being on the end of a quieter line where we could do our own thing, lounging on the water and throwing back beers. Even the intermittent rain that randomly showed up every now and then couldn't put a damper on our afternoon! Since we had to get back to our Airbnb for dinner, we had to cut our time on the boat a bit short, but Chase did a great job of maneuvering us out of the line/cove and getting us back to the dock on schedule. What's more, he was super friendly and just a good dude to talk to. Beyond that, not sure what else there is to say, but probably not much more needs to be said either. Went out on the boat yesterday (Easter Sunday) and my friends wallet was stolen. While we were loading up to head out my friend states we needed more ice and the captain informed us he had a guy that could bring us some so we agreed to the $8 per bag and a "Shaun" guy comes over with the ice. In that moment as he's giving the ice another mysterious guy appears next to the boat and the captain asked my friend for her ID, she handed it to him got it back and put it in her card case and sat her card case next to her on the captains seat, she turned to grab her phone to send the rest of the captains tip (cause thats all he cared about) and noticed her card case was gone from where she just sat it. We all start looking around, Shaun and mystery man disappear and the captain starts to say "oh this sort of thing happens all the time, maybe it fell in the water, oh it'll turn up" while still pressing the fact that he needs to be tipped. Every time we mentioned Shaun or the other guy it's like the captain was ignoring it and started to change to topic. Pretty sure this was a scheme they set up because no one saw the third guy before or after the ice ordeal nor did our captain mention or name him or even acknowledge that he was there. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

Captain Ryan! We were in Austin for a bachelorette party with 7 girls. We had an AMAZING day on the lake thanks to Ryan! He was extremely helpful getting everything loaded on the boat. A few people in our group got seasick so he suggested they get on at the last minute. We cruised around for awhile, he pointed out the sights. He was a great driver and we felt very safe. He stopped in a good spot for us to go swimming, which was a lot of fun. When we started turning the music up and wanting to party more he anticipated our needs and drove us to the party cove! I've rented from others before an it's $X much more for a cooler, lily pad, etc. Keep Austin Wet pricing included all of this and gas. Our captain was super friendly! Had a great experience going through Keep Austin Wet. Our captain was Hampton, and he easily explained how the day would go and took care of our group of 10. Just some word of advice, if you plan to hang out in the party cove--get the extra 4th hour. Minimum is 3 hour rental for most of these boat rentals. On a hot summer day you don't want to leave and it's a 20min ride back so you really only spend 2 hours in the cove. My group wanted to extend but sadly there as another booking after us--short and sweet. Parking is a breeze and cheap, $5. There is a nearby grocery store--Randall to pick up ice and beer to stock the ice chest they provide. Would def go back again. read more
