I am deeply disturbed and disgusted by the treatment I received at this business today. My family has been regular customers--my husband frequently brings our two young boys here for haircuts, and we've never had an issue until now. Today was my first time taking them myself, and it was an eye-opening, incredibly upsetting experience. We had two appointments scheduled for 10:05 and 10:20. Due to unexpected road construction and a malfunctioning traffic light on Chandler Blvd, I ran a few minutes behind. Out of courtesy, I called ahead to let them know I was running about 5 minutes late. Instead of understanding, I was met with a cold, dismissive tone from someone named "Daisy," who curtly informed me about their "5-minute grace period." I let her know I'd arrive within that window. I walked through the door at 10:11. Rather than welcoming me or trying to work with the situation, Daisy spent precious minutes aimlessly clicking around on her computer before telling me she no longer had time for my son's haircut. I explained he's only five and that a quick trim would be perfectly fine, but she flat-out refused, citing that we were "7 minutes late" and that it was against their policy. As if that wasn't enough, another employee chimed in and they both proceeded to mock and belittle me--giggling and clearly enjoying the discomfort they were causing. There were no other customers in the shop. They simply chose to be rude and unaccommodating for the sake of it. I was frustrated, yes--but their behavior escalated the situation and made it feel incredibly personal. It was degrading and humiliating. As someone trying to manage three young kids, delays happen. A little grace and professionalism would have gone a long way. Instead, I was met with condescension, zero empathy, and blatant disrespect. Their behavior was not only unprofessional--it was cruel. In Daisy's own words, turning us away was "more fair to her next client." Well, they lost two clients that day--possibly more, because we will never be back. I've never left a business feeling so shaken, upset, and frankly, sick to my stomach. To any other parents--especially moms juggling a million things--please think twice before coming here. There are too many businesses that will treat you with kindness and understanding. This is not one of them. read more

Made a same day appointment. Was greeted right away and then seen fairly promptly. I'm figuratively blown away by the roll-up store front doors-- very impressive. While waiting for my boys to get their cuts, I shamelessly helped myself to a photo session of the totally handsome interior touches. Really cute place. I came in for a hair trim today, because it needed to be done. I walked in, signed in and Stephen was ready to help me cut all my dry ends off my hairs. He showed me where it'll be in length after the hair cut is done, so I know exactly what to expect. He also recommended what kind of product I should use to get the colors out of my hairs as i needed to, because I am no longer happy with it. He's friendly and made me feel comfortable while cutting my hairs. I highly recommended this local Hair Salon and Stephen to anyone that needs help with hair problems and such. read more

Found this place online and seemed to have good reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. The wait was not bad for a Sunday, online check in was convenient. The only reason it gets one star is because they were careless with my son and cut him with the electrical clippers seen here. I called after I noticed to voice my concern, they trued to blame it on the clippers setting and that it may not have been correct. No accountability, no refund, guess what? No more of my business. I have had a monthly membership for a couple of months now. I get my hair cut every two weeks and don't always have the convenience of going to same barber or the same location due to my sporadic schedule. I have never left any of the shops unsatisfied or disappointed. All barbers have been extremely professional and courteous. I have never regretted my decision of becoming a monthly member. As you can see, we used to really love this place for quick haircuts. Unfortunately, when we visited this weekend for haircuts for my two preschool-age sons, the stylist was rude, impatient, and should not do kids cuts. She managed to cut the back of my older son's neck. She offered no recommendations on length for my youngest. She seemed very annoyed with all of us and we all felt like we were inconveniencing her by being there. My kids were so excited to get their haircut, talked about it for days, talked about how cool they wanted their hair to look, and this is what they got. My advice would be to learn some techniques for getting kids to sit still (starting with simply making them feel comfortable) or don't accept kids appointments in the first place. read more

Great concept for routine men's hair care. I highly recommend getting a membership, pays for itself in two haircuts and you can come in every week if you choose. Booking on the app is so easy and slick. I have moved a lot and lived in a lot of places, so it's always a struggle to find a reliable spot, but KIC rocks!!! I've been going to Chris for about a year now. Always on time with my appointment, listens to exactly how I want it cut and resists the urge(like I used to get with a lot of barbers) to just cut off all my hair. Admittedly, I'm not very good at detailing how I my hair cut, but Chris was able to read through my ambiguity, work past my cowlicks, and deliver a perfect cut and has on every cut since. In the event you wind up getting there when Chris isn't there, you will still find that most everyone there is just as polite, and courteous, but if your hair is a difficult to cut, and you need some humor, wait for Chris. read more

I like the membership because my hair grows fast and it's actually cheaper with the membership, since I go as often as I like for one monthly cost. Amanda is my favorite. If you need a solid fade. Hit up Taylor. I used to be in the military and would have to get a fresh fade every Sunday. I did that for about 5 years. I've gotta say today she gave me one of the best fades I've ever had. She was super gentle and very precise. She really impressed me and I will be coming back for sure. read more

As far as haircut places go this exactly what I needed it to be. The service was quick, you come in and sign in on an iPad (but can do it online). Amanda cut my hair and she was really friendly and did a great job. Having just moved here a few months ago I have tried a few barbers and haven't really been pleased with the cuts but I will definitely be back and request Amanda. read more

A nice upscale haircut place with great staff. Pricey but professional and the AC works great. I always get a short haircut as Yelp check ins show however some places do this cut in a fast aggressive manner. Keep it Cut took their time and it was pleasant. We were just two guys who were tired of having unkempt hairlines and unruly neck beards. We wanted to keep our hair looking fresh, but couldn't afford frequent cuts. Super nice. He always has interesting conversation and some cool shows on to watch on the TV while getting chopped. Cool guy. Also, he is pretty fast. Always offers a cold beverage and never cuts my ears. :) You need an appointment, but he sets it up using text message, so, really easy. Thanks Thom for the year of great service.

I scheduled a consultation for a cut and color and was quoted a starting price of $120, with the…read moreunderstanding that additional services could increase the cost. My first appointment was scheduled for July 2 at noon, but at 10:44 a.m. that morning I received a text stating that the colorist was still sick and my appointment would need to be canceled. I was told someone would call to reschedule, and they did, booking me for 3:15 p.m. the following day. Then, around 11:00 a.m. on the day of that appointment, I received a second cancellation. While I understood that illness happens, having two appointments canceled with only a few hours' notice was disappointing. The next available appointment wasn't until July 9 at 6:15 p.m. When I rescheduled, I asked the scheduler whether there might be any consideration or gesture of goodwill given the inconvenience of the two late cancellations. She said she would discuss it with the owner and someone would get back to me. No one ever did. I arrived on time for my July 9 appointment, and there was no acknowledgment of the previous cancellations. At checkout, I was charged $145 instead of the quoted minimum of $120. When I asked about the additional $25, I was told toner had been required. While I understand that additional services can increase the price, it would have been nice to have that discussed before checkout. I had still planned to return because I had heard Adam was an excellent stylist. Today I messaged him that I was disappointed no one had followed up regarding my request after the two canceled appointments. His response was, "You also did a no show on your color and cut. So sorry that's our pricing. When she is sick I have no control of that." I replied that I had never missed an appointment. Both appointments had been canceled by the salon, and I had never even scheduled a color and cut together. I asked if he might have been confusing me with another client. His response was simply, "Oh okay." Everyone makes mistakes, and I completely understand that illness and scheduling issues happen. What disappointed me was the lack of communication, the failure to follow up as promised, and especially the assumption that I had been a no-show without first verifying the facts. A sincere apology or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Adam may be a very talented stylist, but based on the customer service and how this situation was handled, I won't be returning.
