The second I walked in I felt as if I should walked right back out , Isaac cut my hair and did fairly well until I had to mention he take more hair off slightly. I took my son(13) to get a haircut yesterday and the barber Nick completely screwed it up. All the teenagers have the same hair cut these days. Faded out in the back/sides and longer on the top. My son showed him a picture of the look he wanted. He cut the front way too short and straight across the forehead giving him a bowl cut. Yes imagine the 90's style bowl cut that was popular. He didn't even fade the back properly. He had 2 distinct layers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to point it out to Nick and he then proceeded to try and blame my son because he wore a hat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Even the other barbers noticed what was going on and gave Nick crap for trying to blame it on a hat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He attempted to try and fix the fade but I could tell he just gave up and didn't put any effort into fixing it. We just wanted to get out of there at that point because the other barbers were trying to cover for him saying it looked ok.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They could've stepped in to help out. Clearly they had a guy that was new and didn't know what he was doing. Like some have said, this place is a gamble every time. I've been coming here for about 2 years now and have have gotten some pretty gnarly haircuts. The only reason I would return is to give them the benefit of the doubt as I've seen some great haircuts come out of that place. However, my last 4 haircuts have been terrible and needed 1-2 months just to grow back my hair so I didn't look like I was balding...you shouldn't waste your money here. Also, don't listen to the owner who comments on Yelp claiming he watched the video and try's to turn it on you. He doesn't even show up to the shop anymore so he has no clue on who or what he's talking about. He's a joke, and everyone who works there is a joke. read more

And had asked them if they knew how to cut Asian hair, as it's coarse. First time going to this place and horrible experience. Everyone is very welcoming but I went in asking for an 8 on top and zero on the sides. I ended up leaving looking like I'm in the army. Never coming here again. I'll stick to paying an arm and an leg at Floyd's. When you enter the 3rd chair on the left is the guy who cut my hair. Highly recommend not going to him. I can't say the others are good or great barbers but to have him as my first impressed I just can't go there again Update: This review is a true review. I only go where I can trust. If I would have gotten a solid cut I would have had a better review. Your barber never offered me another haircut. Plus my hair was pretty much all the way since it was a two and a zero on the sides. I swung through today after I called and was told they didn't have a wait, and could get me in right away. Woohoo! It's an old school barber shop, with super friendly employees. The guy who cut my hair, sorry I can't remember your name, did an excellent job with a minimal set of material to work with. What can I say; my hair is getting thinner than the donut selection at Dunkin after the police shift change. The cut ran about $25 which was reasonable, and I'll definitely be back for my next trim. The only fly in the ointment is they are cash only, which I didn't realize. They have an ATM on site but it's a three dollar charge to use it which was a super bummer. read more
