He shared both personal and professional experiences as a tactical medic and Navy Veteran. He emphasized that it is important to have the right tools and training but most important was keeping a calm mindset during these stressful situations in order to ensure we take immediate action and save a life. As I spoke up to see if I could be assisted, an older lady SLOWLY approached me with a serious face & asked what I was there for. I told her I was there for. 9am class but that unfortunately I had gotten lost on my way over. She said they had a 15mins Grace period, so I said ok, it has not been 15mins so if it was ok for me to join the class. She then stood there and looked at me. I had to ask if she could ask, she then walked SLOWLY over to the class and asked, & she stated they would no longer take me. Why then say they have a 15minute grace period, when in reality they don't. Makes no sense! I understand I was late, however I was still within the "grace period " Whatever !.. will definitely NOT be recommending nor will I ever return to this place!

David responded to my texts/calls quickly and answered all of my questions. He sent us information to go over to be prepared for the class and boy was the material intimidating. David provided a relaxed environment and presented the material in a simple way that was easy to understand. I was taught EKG rhythms in school and still struggled with it even after graduating, but after this class I felt confident. We went through scenarios and it helped learn the algorithms.
