Never followed up after my tax meeting, no confirmation that my return was submitted, no explanation of payments. Just an altogether frustrating and unprofessional experience, so for that I believe the quality and value to be very low. And the coup de grace was the third year, when I received a BILL in May for filing an extension on my behalf. . .when I had already filed my taxes with another accounting firm! They filed an extension TODAY THE IRS ON MY BEHLAF WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION. and then BILLED ME FOR IT. Absolutely absurd. This happened to my parents and sister as well. I'm simply at a loss for words. I am wondering if this is a breach of ethics / confidentiality. Hopefully this hasn't impacted anything with the IRS. Maybe they think I'm trying to file and collect tax return twice?? How awful. Needless to say, we have all gone to a different accounting firm.
