My sibling and I went to Keepsake for piercings on Monday (we had tried to go the previous Tuesday, but didn't realize that there's no piercer on Tuesday or Wednesday!). We got there a little after the shop opened so there wasn't much of a wait. I got my tragus pierced and my sibling got their rook done (they had been to Keepsake a couple weeks prior to get their eyebrow pierced). Leo was great, the entire time I felt very comfortable as he explained everything he was doing. He made sure that I saw him finish cleaning everything before we started and take out all the clean tools. He was very knowledgeable about the entire process and the jewelry, make sure that I didn't have any metal sensitivities and double checking that I liked the jewelry I'd chosen online. I tend to get woozy with needles, so I made sure to tell him that I need an extra minute after the piercing is finished. Leo was very accommodating, he gave me glucose tablets and water before the piercing and made me feel more comfortable after it was done by angling the fan towards me and putting cold cotton rounds in my ear like ice packs. And even though at this point the shop had gotten busier, I still didn't feel rushed to get up until I was ready! He made sure that I was watching when he put the needle in the biohazard bin and explained all the aftercare, even providing some tips I hadn't heard before, like rinsing the saline off your piercing with water so it doesn't dry out! I fully recommend Keepsake to anyone who is looking to get a piercing! read more

FOR PIERCINGS -- Leo is just great. He is smart and knowledgable and I can't say enough good things about him. The guy knows his stuff. I got my conch, seconds, thirds, and helix here (and I brought my mom who got two helixes and also my roommate who got a helix as well). I have nothing but praise for the shop. The wait can be long for piercings because they only do walk ins, but the wait is worth it. The reason I have no issue with waiting even up to or a little over an hour is because Leo takes his time with everybody. The amount of attention he gives the people in front of you, he will give you. So if the wait is long because there is a person taking 40 minutes ahead of you, he will be just as caring for you when it is your turn. I think that is really what makes me return here time and time again and recommend it to everyone for piercings. The reason I am writing this review is because I went to another shop today. Prior to today, I had only ever gotten pierced at Keepsake. Now that I have a comparison, I realize just how phenomenal Keepsake actually is. They are SO SO SO sanitary (I can't stress this enough), they are so kind, they sincerely care about their clients, they take their time, and they always do a great job. The wait is worth it trust me. The prices are not the cheapest in the area (not expensive, but not the cheapest shop nearby), but you are paying for great care. Somethings are worth it, and Keepsake is the place to go for something as serious as a piercing. 100% love it here. read more

I got tattooed by Rich three weeks ago and almost forgot to leave a review!! Keepsake is amazing! Booking the appointment was really easy (I made a request online and they called me within an hour) and the woman I spoke with on the phone was super sweet and answered all of my questions. I drew my own design so I wanted the tattoo to be pretty much exactly that (aside from cleaning it up a little to make a clear stencil). When I've gone to other shops wanting to use my own design, some of them have been really rude about this for some reason (telling me they didn't like the design and wanted to do something different?) and Keepsake was so so kind and accommodating/really stuck to my vision! Rich was very professional, fun to talk to, and very considerate of my physical needs (I have chronic pain issues and sometimes needed a break to stretch). He did such a beautiful job with my design and was flexible when I wanted to make a couple last minute changes. The pricing was very reasonable, the shop was super clean and inviting, and the staff were really friendly and non-intimidating (as I've also experienced in the past). I had an outstanding experience at Keepsake Custom Tattoo in Salisbury! From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly professional. This place is bright, clean, and inviting! I walked in downstairs (which happens to be where the barber shop is located) with a confused look on my face. I was immediately directed upstairs by a super friendly, smiling employee there, which was reassuring. Upstairs, Jon greeted me enthusiastically. He filled me in on paperwork and then Joe invited me into his piercing room. Joe has 23 years of experience, and you can definitely tell! As a female getting nipple piercings, I was a bit nervous, but he was extremely professional and I immediately felt comfortable. He took the time to answer all my questions and walked me through everything he was doing. It was clear that he cared that I got exactly what I wanted - and I did! The piercings came out perfectly and are healing well because they were well done in a clean shop by an experienced piercer. Highly recommend - I will be back for my next tattoo. read more

I have always had great experiences at Keepsake. Jon is always friendly, helpful and accommodating. I have gotten my ears pierced here, a large tattoo on my forearm and am currently in the process of getting a full sleeve. Every visit is wonderful. Nate does amazing work and is just an enjoyable person, which is important when you are spending several multi-hour sessions together. I wouldn't go any where else to have work done. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I think at this point my entire family (Mom, dad, sister, and sister's BFF) have all gotten work done here. Honestly, great group of artists with great art, but they have advertised Pieces with racist imagery including a swastika, (They followed up by posting that they have no racist prejudices, but refused to apologize because it's "only art") and now today, they've proceeded to post their Snapchat of a piece of work in progress that is for a White Supremacy group. I've lost my respect for the individuals who work here. I'm satisfied with the work I've gotten done there, but I refuse to support a business that perpetuates racial division. My lost business obviously will not affect them, but the best I can do is inform people of who exactly they are paying to tattoo them. read more

Nate, the artist who did the piece, is possible one of the coolest and talented people you'll ever meet. He took my vision of the perfect tattoo and made it even better. recently had my nostril and conch pierced as well as having my boyfriends earlobe pierced by James Rajewski. i am in love with this place!! i recently got my septum pierced here and my experience was amazing:) leo did an amazing job and i couldn't be happier, he showed me the entire process of sanitizing and how he was going to do the piercing. he made me feel so comfortable, he pierced me when i felt ready and with my breath. i am so satisfied with how it came out and will be returning to this place for all of my future piercings. the studio is neat, clean, and overall cool looking. i feel so much more confident with my piercing and i cannot thank the keepsake team enough!!!! read more

Joe at NH Vape gallery recommended Keepsake regarding an old, meaningless tribal cover up. Everyone was super friendly and informative. Their website made the whole process seamless as you're encouraged to submit sample photos/description(s) to give the artist a clear idea of exactly what it is that you're looking for. #KeepsakeNate aka "JewishViking" is the MF man! I went in for my first tattoo yesterday and could not have been more pleased with my experience. This shop is super clean and they took 25-30 minutes to sterilize all the instruments. Mara, who did my piece (a state outline on my ribs), was extremely focused the whole time. She was lasered in and never once got distracted or lost focus. Also, the manger up front is very personable and easy to talk to whether it is over the phone or when you are checking in. I will definitely be using this shop if i decide to do another tattoo. read more

Keepsake was great! I recently got a nostril piercing. Leo was kind, concerned for my comfort, explained everything in detail, what to expect and aftercare. He made sure I was pleased with the placement and made any adjustments I asked for. I chose jewelry too small and it started sinking into the skin. I went back to Leo the next day and he replaced it with a larger size. He guarantees his work and jewelry and replaced it without any issues. He was great about it!
