I had been reassured that John was aware of my request plus I had submitted pictures. A simple black & gray tattoo that maybe should have taken an hour to do. Instead, I have 5 flower heads without stems or leaves that cost more than double what I was expecting. There is no way to rectify this. The script is completely obscured. To say that I'm not happy is an understatement. This is why I felt the need to have a consultation. Obviously, he did not understand what I meant. Flower at the base of my neck, leaves on either side of script & stem running down my back around the words. This tattoo looks nothing like what I asked for. Avoid at all costs!!!

We worked together to come up with another idea that I absolutely love. I'm not sure what Bethany is trying to say in her review, all my work looks fantastic and none of them are tramp stamps. I haven't had any experience with Scott, as I've gotten all my tats done by Steve. He took the time to work out with me exactly what I wanted, positioned it on my body and made sure it was perfect in my eyes. When I got my first tattoo, he explained what would happen, how it would feel, and what to expect. My first tattoo did not hurt whatsoever and was less nerve-racking than I was expecting. When I go in now he talks to me while I'm being tattooed to calm my nerves. When I got my rib piece done he would explain which part he was working on and what kind of needle he was using, whether it was for shading or outlining. He let me take a little break for lunch to keep my blood sugar up and continued to work. He's very honest and upfront, and the shop is always clean. I feel like I would be cheating on them if I got my work done elsewhere. His rates are fantastic for the work that he does, and he's been tattooing for 25+ years. Great guy, great shop. The…read morepiercer is incredibly professional and really helps with keeping you calm if you're squeamish with needles (like me). I've even brought my friends with me and this is one of the few piercers that lets friends come into the room. Found this place from a friend who has several body piercings (ears, nose, eyebrows, dermal, tongue, lip, belly button, etc). I'm planning on returning for a hidden helix and an industrial bar! Most of the healing process is unfortunately up to the customer, which is why I think people give piercers a bad rep. You HAVE to clean your piercings frequently and do not touch. Only issue i've had is a small irritation bump on my helix from sleeping on it and my hair getting caught but that's on my end. Overall would definitely recommend! Update: I've gone and gotten the industrial bar! I was very relieved to know they pierce an industrial with two different needles rather than piercing them with the same one. They did a great job with placement and quickness. So excited to heal my new piercing! Update: I got a conch yesterday (June 30th 2025) and i love it! it turned out perfect and wasn't painful at all. Obsessed!
